You had some good analogies if you start out as a Jew, Christian, Muslim, and then attain enlightenment (awareness of awareness), you might then more easily become an atheist, Buddhist, or Taoist, afterwards.

The differences between cause and effect, knower and known, here and there are seen/experienced as one and the same. So gods (especially the Judeo-Christian one) become unnecessary because the difference between "creator" and "creation" vanishes.
Human beings have mind. Human beings have this idea and longing for enlightenment. So how can you say mind has no place no role in awareness?only humans can know.
If we look for a self we never find it, we only find awareness or knowing. Only awareness is aware. We are awareness so nothing is lost except apparent, human suffering. 💕

It never actually happens it just seems to.
Rupert is using the analogy to answer a question coming from the idea that there is a separate individual. That idea is the compressing of the ball.
