- 1986 GMC Sierra Classic 2500 interior refresh. One of many projects going on currently. So please subscribe to the channel. This is the first video of many to come.
An interior detail turned into fresh paint, sound deadener, carpet kit, and headliner. I made an edit showing the initial carpet and into trimming out, laying out, and installing a molded carpet kit.
Next video will show the headliner with new fabric install and interior being reassembled.

How do you remove the floor shift box thanks
It’s easy. Take off your shift knob. 4 screw on the outside of the shift box. Disconnect your light and it should come off if I remember correctly
That interior looks damn good. Is that grey or medium silver??? I’ve gotta 82’ GMC swb that’s been repainted to the original light blue metallic paint job & the medium silver carpet & grey is the best color for the interior that I’ve been able to find. 100%.
Appreciate that man 🙏 I just redid an 88 Suburban and an 81 K20 as well. It’s always nice to freshen the interior on these old trucks.

That would be sweet. I actually have a few sets of Tahoe seats. This was just a quick clean up of the interior to keep it factory. To support the original paint and originality of the truck.

@@TheNikeguy21 Noico sound deading 80mil from Amazon ... With the foam for second layer on top .. then the carpet ... I meant your silver sound deading was funny hahaha
Yeah this was just a quick deadener to replace some of the factory that was not going to go back under the new carpet. None of these trucks are quiet and it was a diesel. But carpet laid down nice and the new owner loves the truck. That’s all that matters

It went well with the gray exterior on the truck when you opened the doors. New owner likes it too.
