These were just summit brand gauges. These were mechanical. Minus Voltage of course… but I’m sure they have both options as far as oil pressure, temperature etc
I have a direct hot running from my battery to an On/Off ignition switch. I’m just monitoring voltage from the battery. So I have the positive hooked into that. And can ground to any good ground or to battery. Sorry not my greatest video 😂
@@TheNikeguy21 Cut a chunk out on the teeth of the flywheel, huh? Been there, done that. Mine came from removing a delta pressure feedback sensor from a Lincoln Town Car, believe it or not. Ford likes to pack 10 pounds of poo in a 5 pound bag when it comes to their engine compartments.
Thanksor the quick video. Other people need 30 mins to explain that in a video
What brand gauges are you using and are they all electric or mechanical too

good work! Keep it up
Could it also piggy back the ign fuse? A lot closer and easier for me.
I like using the “add a fuse” for any modern fuse blocks. Makes it an easy way to tap into that circuit.
If you're speaking about the fuse taps for the fuse/ relay junction boxes, they work wonders. Saves a lot of time and a lot of headaches.
Where does the + and ground wire come from.. please clarify

Okay I got a ground wire going straight to the battery ground
The positive I ran to the fuse box on the auxillary
Not to be off topic, but that open wound below your thumb looks like a nasty, painful SoB. What happenned there if you don't mind me asking?
Haha yeah that one hurt a little. Pulling a flywheel off a ford 460. Thought I had a hold of it and clearly didn’t haha

You didnt show how you conect the wiring..
I have a 1994 Ford Ranger and I installed a bolt gauge and it worked for 1 day then it went to shit
I’ve seen bad gauges before. Check voltage at your positive side of your gauge and double check the ground.
