    Sometimes the smaller species are a lot more fun, because of the quantity! 1st time I ever used a LRF rod was in the IOM, great sport, just dropping it over the edge like you, to see how many species I could catch!

    • @TAFishing
      @TAFishing  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Better to start small and work up to the bigger fish. Then you have appreciation of general fish sizes. If you just go straight out and catch a 25lb Carp it sort of spoils it for later trips when you only get the smaller fish. A big one every once in a while is nice.

    I know this may be a bit of a left field ask, but do you remember a video of shark fishing that you posted where you couldn’t decide whether to bring the shark on board your boat “don’t do it Graham, be naughty Graham, do it, no don’t do it Graham” etc? If you remember the clip I’m on about, is there anyway you could possibly send it to me? Found it endlessly funny. More so than usual, because it really chimed with me! Want to reshare if possible. I see myself, and I have no camera gear.

    Hi Graham, that Japanese bait you are using is usually made with very small shrimp, about the size of a finger nail. The locals here usually use it in a feeder above a line of sabiki hooks for yellow tail, mackerel, horse mackerel and sardines. Usually fished from deep water ports using a big float and small rubber sliding stopper. Been a massive TA fan for years! Thanks for all the entertainment from the Northern Japan!

    Guys if you keep your eyes open on the way down you can see a shell stuck in a tree.
    Fished there since I was a tacker. If you want to know where to go and what to catch right there just send me a message. Cheers Mike

    I love the fact you never really know what you will get next in the sea, a good cheap weight i used to use was old spark plugs, cleaned up first!!!

    The best way to carry things like those reeds is to put them in an old continental quilt cover. You can get them all in and no mess whatsoever in the car.

    Great stuff. I used to sea cliff climb in my younger days and always called the local Coastguard for a low water/high water tide timings.

    I found it so funny watching you go back to base for bait after the first take. Done that so many times myself. Haha.

    Good upload Graeme! Great mix of species from the Pier - like you said, plenty of fun! Stay safe & well.
