I find you to be the best horn demonstrater on TH-cam. Some guys play 12,0000000 million notes when they demo a horn. You play very tasteful heads and really nice solos and you seem to know how to get the individual characteristic timbres out of all the horns you display. It's very entertaining stuff for sax nerds of all generations. Thanks.
There's something about a good vintage horn like a good vintage wine...that modern horns will never have...trick is ti find one in near mint condition or find some one qualified to restore one to near it's original glory...
If it plays well it obviously wasn't set up by Russ Ackerman. I bought a horn on e-bay supposedly overhauled by him and it leaked everywhere. Corks and felts were missing etc. It was rubbish.
