Hello Bob, I loved your video. I used to have a Martin(Bousine), Have you ever heard of this particular brand? I loved the saxophone, It was a Bb tenor. I have been looking for one like it since 1990 when I traded it off. It still sounded great. I needed new key pads. I bought it in 1965 from M Evens Jewelers in Corsicana, Texas. I scratched my name on the inside of the bell,:"Jesse Nelson"....There is no telling where this sax has gotten off to now, but I played it for 35 years in an orchestra with no problems. I traded it off to a music store in Waxahatchie, Texas. Please help me find my sax or maybe find another one like it......Thanks, Jesse
+Eric T. Somers It was engraved "The Martin Tenor" but often referred to as the "Committee III". Around the same time there was a deluxe version of that called "Magna".
Beautiful horn, and playing!
What a lovely way you play!
man you have some great lines.
Nice sound...I have a 1958 Martin Indiana tenor.....not gonna let it go :-)

The Indiana instruments were introduced in late 40's by The Martin Band Instrument Company.

@@leonAzul42 the magna was the top horn wsnt it
@@tellitlikeitis-rg4ny Yes, Magna was "top of the top", rather like some guitar brands have a professional line and then their "custom shop".
@@tellitlikeitis-rg4ny Look at their '30s models, the Comm II.
Did this sax is heavy ?or lightly ?
Hey is this still for sale?
