  • After a month in the rains in the Maasai Mara and in the shadow of Kilimanjaro, it is hard for me not to submit some of the footage I have been getting to this week’s Wildlife Watch Wednesday because it has been spectacular!
Elephant herds almost brushed against our car as they made their way to the river to cross to the other side. Our guides in Duba Plains have been following lions hunting, as usual. A baby serval cat days old and great leopard sightings everywhere. All these sightings make March and April one of my favourite seasons in the bush now. Actually, I don’t think I have an unfavourite season!
Each season has its nuances and delights, its extreme skies of visually stunning dry-scapes.
This month’s images shared from guides and guests give us all another snapshot of what they saw during a time when many pundits say an African safari is not at its finest.
Perhaps I am just in love with Africa. This is an invitation to come and fall in love as well.

SO glad for all the rain. I wish some of it would go to ZImbabwe. Eager to get back soon!
