I loved watching this. It brought back memories of our trip with the outstanding @enditonagoladventures in October 2023. It was as a result of watching Ella’s previous informative videos in Tanzania. I too hope that we are included in the @enditonagoladventures family. They made our trip truly special in every way. We can highly recommend Endito Nagol to anyone wanting to safari in this beautiful and magical country. Sending our greetings and love, Sue and Paul ❤🙏🏽
Thank you Senthil! Your comment means a lot to me 😊 So happy you think it was worth the wait. You won’t have to wait nearly as long for the next video however! If all goes well with the edit, it’s going to come in the next couple of weeks.
I am so thrilled that you enjoyed the video! Honestly, before I visited I was worried Serengeti wouldn’t live up to its reputation. But it was wonderful for it to actually surpass my expectations. Hopefully you can make it there soon 😁
I’ve just discovered this channel and watched 4 of your videos. The quality is superb. I like it more than these Discovery Channel stuff. Really appreciate your work. 👏🏻 And I’ve just decided to go for a Africa trip. Mind blowing!
Thanks Jessica for watching! Tanzania is a fantastic destination and I'm confident you'll have an amazing trip. If you'd like any recommendations, just let me know!
My nephew and his wife are there on Safari as I write this! 🎉 I pray they are safe and enjoying the trip of a life time. May the Lord G-D almighty protect them and them close to his heart. Amen.🙏
That was a wonderful trip for sure! Do you ever tire of seeing those magnificent creatures? I'm certain that the answer to that is resounding ,"NO!"... LOL!!! Thanks again for bringing me along!
Haha, you’re 100% right! It never gets boring. It feels special every time. No two sightings are ever the same and after spending time on safaris where there are very few sightings, it helps you to feel grateful every time you do encounter one
Nice coverage of The mighty Serengeti. It worth to note that, The word Serengeti originated from Maasai word "siringet" which means 'endless plain'. Welcome to Tanzania 🇹🇿 🇹🇿
Throughly enjoying you Tanzania adventure. We hope to visit some of the place you have visited around Dec. Can i ask what you did to avoid all those flies/ insects? Also what camera kit did you take with you for these excellent shots.
Really glad you enjoyed watching! I would put mosquito repellant on every morning and evening (DEET is recommended) but in all honesty, we didn't see many mosquitos in the Serengeti (I would still be very cautious though). There were some tsetse flies in the north of Serengeti and our guide would tell us when we were in a tsetse fly area so we could top up on our repellant. But we didn't encounter too many of them (I've been to Serengeti in December as well). Long-sleeved trousers and tops is also a good preventative measure. Regarding camera equipment, you can view my list of gear here: ellamckendrick.com/my-gear/
@EllaMcKendrick your videos are awesome, thank you for sharing your epic journey's. Between the Serengeti and Masai Mara, which did you find was more affordable?
Thanks! So glad you enjoyed it. The Masai Mara was more affordable BUT due to the recent park fee increase, it's only more affordable if you visit between January and the end of June (where park fees are $100 per person rather than $200 per person). There are more accommodation choices for the Masai Mara with many outside the park which makes it more affordable than Serengeti
This was taken in September! In my opinion September is one of the best times of year to go as you skip most of the big crowds but there's still so much wildlife to see
Hello Ella, I love your Content!!! I would be thankful if you can tell me how was your experince getting the license for drones. Did you have tough time getting the permissions?
Thanks for watching! I'm so glad you liked it. Filming with a drone within national parks is complex and you have to pay a hefty license for it. Instead if you'd like some aerial shots, I'd recommend filming outside of protected areas. A lot of Tanzania is rural so it's possible to get some great aerials in other areas. None of the shots here were filmed within the national park
I used a Panasonic GH5 for this video (have since purchased the GH6 but the GH5 is still a cracking camera). Permits for drone use in Serengeti are very expensive. Drone shots in this video were filmed elsewhere, not within the national park.
Heyy i want to do a trip also like you with this amazing views and wild nature all original and you can go outside of the car when you wont without any problem where can i book something like that!
Thanks for watching! It's not advisable to go out of the car in the middle of the Serengeti - there are instead designated lunch and toilet spots where you can walk around. You can get quotes and book your safari here: safarisbyella.com/quote/
Yeaah TANZANIA can be very interesting 😄....Did you know "That the BIGGEST Dinosaur fossil in Berlin Museum Was dug in Southern Tanzania regions Now if you put thoughts together you'll realise the country was full of different animals during Jurassic Era 🤯🤯
Hello! I’m not sure when I’ll next be in the Serengeti but stay tuned as I will be visiting somewhere very close by very soon! Are you based in Tanzania?
Thanks so much for your feedback! So I can do better in future, can you clarify what you mean by dubbing? Do you mean the voiceover - is it too quick? Thanks!

You can receive quotes from the same tour operators I used here: safarisbyella.com/quote/
Great video. Are drones allowed in serengiti?? Do we need to take prior permission??
Drones require a special permit which is very expensive. The drone shots here weren't actually from the Serengeti
I have a passion for wild life photography and safari but I am not that lucky like to live your dream. Keep in touch, any chance to visit India?
It took me a while to get here, you still could live your dream. I would love to visit India soon! Thank you very much for watching :)
What month did you go?
This was in September
Tanzania has 50% of the whole world lion population....
It's like every tribe in TZ has it's own lion pride 😂
It's a crazy statistic! But it certainly felt true as there were lions everywhere in the Serengeti posing for us 🤣

I think the dubbing is too sharp and too much ,doesn't allow me to calm down and watch this video
Thanks so much for your feedback! So I can do better in future, can you clarify what you mean by dubbing? Do you mean the voiceover - is it too quick? Thanks!
It’s just that I think this kind of video needs to be watched quietly. The sound is too noisy and there are too many explanations.@@EllaMcKendrick
