Anyhoo Much better with the black screen, when they released the white it always reminded me of a botched repair where the service center ran out of the right colour screen so just through a white one on there. Looks much better now. Currently rocking the 8+ plus hoping to get an iPhone-X soon. Thanks for another great review, take care and hope your recovery is quick. Love my new Red 8+, did use my X and Black 8+ for last months...and notice I going back to my 8+ more as battery on my X can't make it a full day with my use. So when Red with black front was out it was nice, after I got my red my X have stay on desk for a few days now..:) Funny how just the color can make you happy..:)

I think attention to detail is missing. It seems just painted RED. I didn't like the charging port & Screws discoloration 4:43 It just ruin the whole look. HTC make the best RED color phone with so much enhancement like Chamfer edges, Color Rim around charging port & headphone jack etc
Tough call. I’ve got an 8+ in white and also a ceramic watch in white with black nike strap and they look great together as match! However picked up the 8 in red yesterday as red in my favourite colour. I actually preferred the red white combo too but a red Touch ID would have been nice.

I prefer the deep red glass black. So many things today have metallic fleck in the color that it’s nice to see a pure color tone in a tech product.

NOooo.... Never peel those covers off! I've had mine on my iPhone 6+ since new in April 2016 and it is still protecting my screen!
