Actually I don't think they were married. I didn't watch the stream, but what the text in the video shows is that Satan REFUSES the marriage, but agrees to an ALLIANCE to rule all of Europe.

Wasn't your army supposed to be incapacitated for two turns still when you researched battle bears? Yet it rolled into invading Switzerland as soon as they were equipped that same turn. This was definitely highly entertaining overall though. 10/10 will watch more
Pretty sure the incapacitation rule just means Doug can't actively go out of his way to attack people. The AI can do whatever it wants, as evidenced by Doug destroying Chatistan's invasion attempt literally the turn after his army got wiped.
