For those saying that he forgot the 25th's one, Doug had nothing to do with it, Number 25 got in a tragic accident of standing onto the flying bullet. Doug DID NOT kill Number 25 nor has he contributed in any way to his death.

Sam 25 looked into the basement where his brothers lay in horror as Doug appeared behind him. In his terror he flinched as he felt the cold steel of a revolver press against the base of his skull. Doug whispered "you'll be with them soon" as he cocked back the hammer on the same gun that ended the lives of his kin.
The investigation went on for a few months but without a motive, bodies or any evidence whatsoever, the case was closed and the search ended. In their hometown 25 statues were erected in memoriam of the missing brothers with the family motto inscribed on a brass placard in bright bold letters, "Babagaboosh!". It is still the worst tragedy to ever happen in pajama land to this very day.

The gunshot sound effects are such a little detail but it makes it so much funnier, it really adds to the idea that Doug literally murders a child everytime, which isn't funny on its own but with the chat, the music and Doug laughing/acting like it's all serious when it's an ai of a child game's superhero, it just makes a perfect combo.
Doug said that he didn't feel like he deserved the streamers award because he uses his chat to be funny and he's not the funny one, but that's just not true man. Doug is so creative and the chat bounces off of him just as much as the opposite, if not more

-Sam 23: Lost in transition (dragged to the afterlife by the souls of the genocide).
-Sam 24: After a long and hard fought journey through the land of Darkness, Sam 24's pacemaker short-circuit from a magnet he picked up, killing him. R.I.P.
-Sam 25: Beat the land of Darkness and decided to investigate the 'mysterious' disappearances of his 24 brothers. Doug offered to tag along. Sam 25 was found deceased under 'mysterious' circumstances.
In total? 4 Sams died of natural causes/without intervention by Doug of the 25. Doug failed his promise of NOT murdering 19 of them by killing 21 of them, for one reason or another.
