I see so many red flags in this first scene. Kicking the chair and not apologizing for his outburst, immediately telling her his story after she disclosed her father’s death, insisting on her last name even though it’s up to her if she shares it, then the fast come on. I think Justin Baldoni plays this scene well as he rides the line between charm and “ick”.
Really you can never know when I read the book the first time I thought that they will end up together but the ending is sad but it's so realistic tough life doesn't always go the way we want it too and sometimes the beggings can fool us
@@MuhammadIsTheMan-3 what does being married have to do with what i said 😂 this was literally the first meeting and yea everyones human doesn’t mean you have to accept shitty behavior. In health class in 7th grade they literally teach u how to recognize these red flags because news flash making excuses for people doesn’t help you or said person. People are dangerous. Recognize these red flags from the start.
@@MuhammadIsTheMan-3Yes, it does take work, mainly work on the self first. They would have both halted each other's growth. From someone who grew up with abuse, someone like him is familiar, needed, almost comforting. It would have been dangerous for her to stay and gain awareness of herself.

He told her his childhood trauma story. She had to hear again to understand how messed up and traumatized he was
Like if you're here after the lawsuit
Run Lily, its a trap. 😅
Blake lively is the most beautiful girl to come on the screen.
Excellent movie. Should've worked through their issues.
True,, especially when they had a child.

@alexismenchaca5010 we are not angels. It takes hard work to be married for 40/50/60 years.

The names will certainly take hold and some new parents will select Ryle and Lilly as names for their children.
