Highly recommend looking into Justin Baldoni, the actor who played Ryle. Disappointed that others are not doing the same and are instead treating this like a RomCom. It's not at all aligned to the theme of this story, and it feels really dismissive to domestic violence victims and the issues around DV. Knowing Baldoni, his history, and the way he seems to be handling this "tension" or disagreement (whatever it was), it's very clear he is the only one staying true to what this movie should be centered on and also fully educating himself on it, especially with his collaboration and advocacy for non-profits (No More) involved with domestic violence.

Paid shill, bot, or child? Hard to say. There’s one interruption and she apologizes before anyone else catches it, he continues.
I adore Blake but all this drama with Justin is making me look at her in a different light ...
Drama?
@@Gregory-Peck the whole cast unfollowed Justin Baldoni and they all refuse to talk about him in interviews. They wont even mention his name. Hes doing the press tour alone
Why? It fits perfectly with Lily and Ryle's falling out.
@@jennafox8556 that makes zero sense because actors should not be treated as characters they play on screen....
@@ginac.6567 They are doing countless interviews to promote the movie.
“Pretty”? “Intimate”? Movie. Did we watch the same film???
It was Impacting and Powerful. It was profound and deep.
His arms are crossed, that is a soothing mechanism. He is stressed sitting next to her.
Come on that’s bs! You are reading way to much in to it
Bruh, she really stole so much from the director. This isnt just a romance story, it's a story about growth im sure. Growing out of the toxic cycle. Why does she stray from that so much. shows she doesn't understand the story
blake is the director ? she talking like she made the wholeeee thing.
She was the Executive Producer. Which means she had a lot of control over the making of it.
@@SnowLeopardForevershe was one of 4 producers
Blake proving the air head blonde, no thoughts in head stereotype so badly here yikes
She’s a brunette naturally.
how? what did she say?
@@KrayfishGalaxyWell I fund her to be very rude! Trying to speak for her co star as well!
@@stardustgirl2904 where? When did she speak over her co-star? Gimme a time stamp
Y is the main character RYLE not in the press??? He had more of a role in movie than atlas. Does anyone know?
Apparently there was a lot of tension between Blake and Ryle.
The other actor is the director and has been doing interviews that are much better than this that really challenge men to think about Domestic Violence. The actor in this interview literally says word for word what the director Justin Baldoni says in earlier interviews. But this actor looks scared to even say anything. Is he a DV survivor? Like what are we seeing?
Highly recommend looking into Justin Baldoni, the actor who played Ryle.
Beyond being an amazing person and long-time activist for other things, he seems to be the only one who's stayed true to the theme of this story and promoted awareness of domestic violence.
@@dionnebennett5455 It honestly felt like Brandon Sklenar didn't do his research and is just saying what a PR person told him to say or copying Justin to cover up. Really disheartening - this could've been a really impactful marketing campaign, if it wasn't so misguided
@@bridgetcurrie8300 I think he is saying what he’s learned through the experience of working with Justin.
It’s clear that Brendan was just fulfilling contractual obligations by interviewing with her. Every interview, his body language is closed off or he’s self soothing.
I saw the film which we thought would help domestic violence victims but since seeing these interviews im disgusted with Blake not even mentioning the real problem.
Blake is soooo overrated
Team Justin ❤
BL is commandeering here. Unable to share the power of the moment between the three of them and forcing her energy in the interview. Truly “powerful” women know when to dominate a situation. This was a conversation really. So it came across more like neediness. A lot like MM
where did you get that? she let the others talk w/o talking over them, keenly listened while her co-star was talking. and apologized right after she spoke over him and let him speak
Umm, this is the 2nd interview I see these two in and might just be me, but in both, he seems to try and protect himself from BL’s energy with his body language. And and for not wanting to be sexualized and being upset about the word “sexy” being used by the director , her tatas are saying “hello all” imo that might be a contradiction of amalgamation (s) 🤷🏽♀️
yet she has the audacity to touch him. I mean if you go ahead and file a sa complaint for someone trying to play a role based on a book that you knew nothing about, a concept you know nothing aboutt, you should at least watch how you behave around others... she's a walking contradiction
We need to shut down domestic violence. A topic that’s hidden because of fear, shame and embarrassment. It’s easy to get frustrated, upset and angry 😤 But respond without force. It’s hard to the find words, to agree to disagree or find a commonground . It Ends With Us ❤
5:32 “..It’s a big beautiful summer movie..” -Blake Lively
Dude barely got to really speak .she couldn’t wait to speak over him
did we watch the same video? the interviewer went back and forth asking diff questions to them both. blake spoke over him ONCE then immediately apologized and let him finish. could you put in the timestamp where she interrupted and spoke over him? if anything, it seemed like blake listened intently to what he was saying. y'all out here hating for no reason
@@KrayfishGalaxyi was looking hard for this comment! These keyboard Warriors are wild
@@KrayfishGalaxythank you. I’m honestly galled by the constant repetition of the same comment.
Thank you Brandon for your real response. Blake is just too shallow for my liking.
She ain’t the director y’all
Don't be jealous guys when a person is successful. Being mean is not a good thing nowadays
Yeah.
That did not age well.
all i could focus on was how rugged and absolutely stunning Brandon is
Speak for yourself, Gayle!
I never wanted Lily to be with Ryle. 😖
It was always Atlas. ❤️
Where’s Justin???
Doing his own interviews
Who cares? Ryle, ugh! 🤮
@@jennafox8556 Justin was ACTING and he didn't want to play in the movie to begin with. He wanted to just produce and direct the movie. Colleen Hoover convinced him to play the part of Ryle. People want him to be given credit where it is due.
@@jennafox8556 I care; I’m a fan of his and I think it’s weird that Blake Lively won’t even say his name in interviews when he directed and acted in this. Comes across as super petty to me.
@@kendallliggin4622I honest to god believe justin isn't that morally sound. In comparision to the hollycouple, sure ,but my Unpopular opinion is why was this man going around for 2 yrs trying to make a movie out of a book that glamorizes ab*se!?! Evn with so many women raising alarm about the books impact on impressionable mind ever since. It seems he is now trying to do damage control or play silent victim ,and lucky for him both idiots blake and ryan are making it easy for him. The book is the problem in the first place. Wouldn't that mean justin was as tone deaf as blake. Justin is actually a good actor.
Omg! He explained the movie better than her
Brandon would make a great new Bond wouldn't he?
Amazing that within 2 weeks, Blake Lively and her two children cameoed as Deadpool variants while looking forward to the premiere of "It Ends With Us". BTW, I read half of the book (16 1/2 chapters in) before seeing a Thursday night preview screening at my local Hollywood Palms movie theater.
Brandon looks like he cant wait to get away from her
Brandon is my favorite actor right now. I binge watched 1923 bc of him. And I rewatched it 2 times. He was perfect for Atlas well ❤Much love
She was not good in the movie. She kept doing this weird lip biting thing.
And, It Ended In Lawsuit!
Why is Justin Baldoni not been interviewed?
"An honest experience of what the masculine can be" 100%!!!!
Terrible acting, difficult to watch
Not one mention of Justin Baldoni?!?! By anyone?! Justin is the one who bought the movie rights and was the director and also a producer. He gets what this movie was about. Justin deserves so much credit and these two aren’t giving it. Very disappointed in Blake. It’s concerning that Justin (who played the abuser) is the vocal advocate against Domestic/Intimate Partner Violence yet Blake (the female lead who was abused) is making this more to be a rom-com and missing the mark on the message.
She didn’t even read the book 😂
Sexual harassment by Blake. Why did Blake touch Brandon at @4:00 without his consent and why is she womansplaining by interrupting him while he’s in the middle of his sentence as if he can’t talk for himself. Blake is taking up so much space. Brandon is feeling small bc she keeps taking control of the entire conversation. This is what feminism is becoming but reversed 😂. This is my response after Blake’s fake complaint against Justin
Yes!
He looks uncomfortable, like he would rather be somewhere else.
In the movie, Brandon (Atlas) reminds me so much of Tim McGraw.
Blake Lively and Parker Posey should apologize to the interviewer who they both bullied at
Shes such a bad actress
Loved the take from Brandon about the movie
It's nice to see that she doesn't mess with Gail. She knows better lol
Ewwww she likes to talk and talk and talk and likes to hear her own voice so much.
Blake always plays the same character over and over, and this character is Blake. It’s just annoying to see her taking roles just because she has influence and money (her marriage gave her a lot of sympathy with the public but she was never a good actress).
It just look like she always Serena van der woodsen
What is so great about her husband. He was married to great women before BL, but what is great about him??
Blake Lively is so beautiful - wonder if that is why people are making negative comments? I do think she looks better with red hair though.
Pretty is as pretty does. Not so pretty.
Jealousy I like her she beautiful
Are you still wondering why people make negative comments? By the way, Amber Heard and Megan Markle are beautiful as well, what does beauty has to do with character???
I scrolled through a buncha different TH-cams on why this "actor" is getting eaten by the internet....it makes sense...she absolutely comes accross like a bully, self obsessed, and ungrateful human being... i was never a fan, never saw anything she was in... but her husband... always loved that guy...great movies from ryan, amazing interviews... but now... gotta say... i question his judge of character if this is his lady choice... i wonder if she's mean to him...
#ItEndsWithBlake
I didn't know it was a book before watching it. I thought it was an excellent film. Blake did a phenomenal job. The rest of the cast was superb. Although the subject matter was upsetting, it ended beautifully. Great movie!!!
I read the book 5 times in a row prior to the movie release. The movie is good. The book is WAY better.
I loved the movie and am now reading the book….I also have the sequel book…..and can’t wait till THAT movie comes out!!!!!
"people were sitting with their books" why the lies?
Her enthusiasm is just weird! Normally in a move like this you take it down a notch and talk about the true message. Instead she talks about the wardrobe and music. Very immature!!
Wow Blake takes over the interview. Poor guy 😂 she needs her own interview 😂😂😂 that’s why you don’t produce a movie you are going to act it it. Looks like Blake has a chip over her shoulder since she clashed with the director Robert Baldoni. Blake where’s the old you?
weird she does no press with her costar and director, justin baldoni, he is so delightful/
Taylor Swift song brings the gravitas the movie was missing?? 😅 What's that about
Wow…Blake couldn’t stand Brandon talking about the male characters and had to interrupt.
She took over the whole interview, no room for someone else to talk 😂😂😂
I notice Blake Lively always dresses up and is always very stylish with her outfits and accessories whenever she goes on interviews, public appearances, and tv shows. I like her best in The Age of Adaline and A Simple Favor.
She styles herself!
Great interview !
I dont see the things she talks about in Lily Bloom. Did she watch her own movie before doing the interview?
Why is there no mention of dv???? This interview is completely tone deaf....
She is an amazing actress, they all did so well. Just watched last night and it's was such a moving movie.
Lol. 😂
Let me guess, your other favourite actresses are Amber Heard and Meghan Markle. All three so amazing and talented.
Lol
Blake doesn’t have a clue what the book is for 😳 Her topic is Blooming, Shinny and Giggling 🤭
And the movie is just a wow treat ❤
Why is there so much hate in these comments?
Brandon is such a good actor in this movie and the hottest!
Interesting he was able to talk about the subject matter. Was it not in their contract to not talk about it? Or maybe only “her” contract. Lol. Sure. Right.
Atlas is my dream husband. 🥰
Mine too ❤❤❤😊
Ugh now I wanna watch the movie. I only read the books for him.
great Brandon
Brandon Sklenar is giving a great interview
I think Blake is very high energy and just excited to be a part of something she is passionate about. I dont think she is aloof or arrogant. I think she is happy and enjoying life. I find her refreshing and people should just be less judgemental.
I cried watching this movie l
One of the best movies ever! I fell so in love with Blake even more and the two male characters. Especially Brandon, wow. What a handsome man with a beautiful, gentle, and mellow aura. He seems depressed though. Just sensed that a bit. Hope whatever internal things he has going on gets better 😢 as for all the shade being thrown on Blake Lively lately, it's just not necessary because sometimes people are going through things that make them respond the way they do and I'm sure she recognizes that about herself just as anyone does. She's human like everybody else. Let's continue to just spread love and stop being hateful. This world needs more love 💕
yes dont be a hater, spreading love
Love Me Some Brandon Sklenar
I loved the movie they were all amazing😊
I wish people would stop blaming Blake lively the movie is marvelous I love it
That comment did not age well
Brandon ♥️ Feeling U _Keeping your Hands locked up!!!
And this person being so touchy! Touchy !
Unbelievably disturbing !
Brandon is a phenomenal actor
She was not the director
she really is horrid😢
Blake is not a very good actress to start with, so poor Justin should not have casted her for such a deep role in a movie with a great social message! Thanks to Mr. Baldoni for choosing a book about such a cricial problem as DV
TH-camrs and TikTokers all say Blake makes the movie sound like a RomCom and talks about everything except the real topic in the movie: Domestic Violence.
Thin interview confirms that.
