For anyone saying she should have stayed. Nobody in the world has the right to tell another woman what WE think she SHOULD have done. That is HER choice. SHE has to live with him. Not us. Secondly, putting your own life at risk for the chance that he'll change if given another chance is risky. We only get one life. And life is precious. Why risk it? She did the right thing. She walked away for their child. And that way, they can still parent together. Without putting the child at risk for having a toxic environment to grow up in. Until you are in an abusive situation, you truly don't know how you'd react. It may be true that people can sometimes change for the better. With hard work and accountability. But not all wounds can heal for the other person. Please understand that and respect a woman's decision to walk away when she feels it's best. Too many women die from domestic violence. Men, too. A person is more likely to repeat that behavior if they do it the first time.

Why does no one talk about the abuse Lily inflicted on Ryle??? Why do they paint her as a saint and him as the devil??? Ryle abused Lily physically, but Lily abused Ryle emotionally. It wasn’t Ryle’s fault that she was traumatized, and in any case, both of them were traumatized-Ryle because of what happened with his brother. But Lily, knowing she still loved Atlas, went back to his restaurant several times, disrespecting Ryle. She didn’t even tell him that the heart tattoo she has is because of Atlas, her ex-boyfriend, or that Atlas gave her his phone number. How cynical. And then she plays the victim-typical of a narcissist who only shares the bad things done to them but doesn’t mention their bad actions toward others. It’s disgusting 🤮 the message they send, portraying Lily as some saint who broke the cycle. Well, Ryle also broke the cycle by leaving and divorcing a woman narcissist!!

Or date someone and ruin them bc she's a mother and left the guy/dad. Instead of saying Gto H I'll say, the world can see also that you're broken. A broken person thinks a child with a mixed family or new adult, "sucks". People are fixated on blood heirship. Fixated on DNA shared. Broken people come on YT and shout about others' decisions.

I’ve tried to understand the behind the scenes issues of Blake & Justin and after seeing the “SA” scene, I can see why it would have been hard to define the line between acting and not acting.
And having been in a domestic violence marriage for over 20 years, and trying to figure out what the heck I was doing in that relation for so long, I learned a few things…
Trauma can profoundly affect brain chemistry, particularly in the prefrontal cortex, which plays a key role in empathy, compassion, and self-awareness. Individuals who have experienced significant trauma may struggle with these capacities due to disrupted neural pathways and imbalances in neurotransmitters.
While they may believe they feel love, it can sometimes manifest as conditional or transactional, reflecting unmet emotional needs or maladaptive coping mechanisms.
In some cases, these patterns can be associated with personality disorders, such as borderline personality disorder or narcissistic personality traits.
These conditions are complex and deeply rooted, often making meaningful change challenging.
Vulnerability, essential for healing and connection, may be perceived as weakness, often stemming from a cycle of self-criticism or self-hatred.
Therapeutic interventions, such as trauma-focused therapy, emotional awareness, and consistent support, growth and change are possible, only if he/she is a willing participant, but unlikely because there is little to no self-awareness.

Once a hitter, always a hitter. Let’s not say what SHE should have done differently when she was the victim of abuse. Let’s talk about what HE should have done differently-should not have held her down, pushed her down the stairs, bit her out of anger, hit her. After the first hit, it’s over. She gave him too many chances, and in real situations like this, many women end up dead because they give “one more chance”

The way that he can change is to do the job alone, with therapy, or with friends and maybe family, if any of his family is sane. Thinking about his past and how it affected him. Problem is, most times these men are afraid to reflect.
