The way to fix the connector is by removing the metal electric connector from it... *for that you need to remove first the little rubber piece that seals the back of it* .. *Next you need to insert a needle or something alike through the tiny hole next to the metal connector in order to release a little tab hidden inside that holds it in place then use something like a hook or pin to push it out with. Once outside you can reattach the lose wire to it and reinsert it in the same orientation it came out so it holds in place.... finally just reconnect the plug and you're done*
Blue/white wire to ground should read 10K ohms, not just 10 ohms like whats stated in your description, threw me off since i have a manual ranging multimeter. Otherwise the video helped me check my 99 camry so thx

I don't think this is your problem. When you get blinking light the ECU is not seeing the right conditions in your AC system and shutting down your AC compressor to protect it. You say it works then it would fail on follow up start. You may be on the borderline low refrigerant and after usage the system detects low and shuts down compressor.
@@databug88 This my problem, It wont work after restart car and button will blinking again in some condition when car load max capacity of passenger. Could you share the reason and how to fix it?
The key symptom is the Clutch does engage for about 1 to 2 secs then shuts down. The clutch stops because the ECU does not see the right signal condition from the sensor from the compressor and shuts down the clutch to prevent damage to compressor. Once the compressor is shut down by ECU it stays lock out you cannot see 1-2 secs clutch on then off by just pushing the button. You need to reset by turning off engine on restart you then can see the clutch momentarily engage then off. So you need to have some else start car and turn on AC button while you are looking at clutch to see this symptom.

If green light stays on and it blows room temperature air what could it be? 😵💫
you need to check if your compressor clutch is engage if so you probably low on refrigerant and if it is low you have a refrigerant leak.
Did you know that the Blue is the rarest color interior produced in 2000 & such....
Great
Thanks
What about ac staying on, I can’t get it to go off

Welcome
sometimes it's the belt, in my case it was that
Good to know, Thanks !
What to do if the belt is the problem?
Belt won't come on on my 99 Geo prizm
thank you
You're welcome
Did anyone find no ohm reading going back to the computer?
No ohm reading is open circuit no connection to computer. The wire may be broken off the pin inside the connector as it was with my ground wire. Try testing the wire an inch away from connector you can strip wire a bit or poke a needle into wire.
Thanks..
You're welcome!
GOOD JOB
Thank You
Mine for my Camry the light stays on doesn't blink or anything. But the ac doesn't do shit won't turn on or anything
It's a short. Mind does this when driving in the rain

Good diagnosis but horrible repair. To get that pin out of the connector you must first pull out that white plastic retainer in the inside and then use a small metal pick to push that pin out
Yes i didn't know how to get that pin out and did not want damage connector. Now I know better Thanks!
The button type is just like yours..
