- The Walking Dead Season 7 - Episode 8 - HIDDEN CLUES!!! This week's clues range from Negan gaming with Spencer to Daryl going into beast mode! Everyone is talking about boots while Maggie is remembering Glenn and Abraham. Is Rosita getting too much air time does that mean the end is near?

Regarding the boots, it's a woman's foot in a man's boot that's to big. Notice when you see "her" take a step the boot looks to big, that's why the strings are tied several times around the ankles, to help keep the boots on.

Same gun - two tone Beretta 92 Brigadier. Of course there are plenty of 'errors' around it, beginning with the .38 Special brass, she picked up from the .357 Magnum Desert Eagle, with which haircut made a cartridge for a 9mm, that apparently fired a .40 cal bullet. It only gets worse, from there.

Killshot, brilliant video brother! One thing I Definitely have noticed! The music in Episode 1 when Negan and the saviours leave Rick completely defeated and hopeless- the music (very much like when Goose died in Top Gun) was symbolic of 'Loss & Defeat' and NOW at the end of this episode we get the EXACT music but with a rising feel! Symbolic to 'We will Fight Back!' Very EPIC!

The whole point was to have the stuff stolen so the person or persons who owned it could follow rick and Aaron back to their camp. The stuff was bait for people to come along and then they probably follow those people to their camps,ultimately getting their stuff back and more
My theory for the boots is that it's the guy who had the stash and he somehow let rick take it

if you read the comics the whisperers don't arrive till two years After Negan is captured.Plus it wouldn't make sense to have two villains at the same time

I think that the boots belong to the person who owned that stash. If you think about it ,with all the signs like "if you made it this far I must be dead" and the "you win but you still lose" seems like this person or people very much wanted it to seem like they were no longer there (dead) but if this was a smart person he /she would let Rick and Aaron take the stash for the sole purpose of following them back to their camp ,especially if it's a group of people. Think about it ,set a bunch of bait ,let them take it ,then follow rick and Aaron back to there camp . It may be the whispers or another group or even just a single person . But my official theory is that whoever had that stash wanted it to be taken so they could follow where it goes

In the past, I have complained about the bad writing of this season and bad scripts that were filmed at the end of last season. If it is a sloppy or beyond belief script or scenario, I tell it like it is….. SOOO--- This last episode was FANTASTIC! This is one of the best or maybe the best of episode of this series. TELLING IT LIKE IT IS. The characters are now behaving like how they were written in the past seasons, the group was made up of fighters and survivors. The added hints of new drama coming there way were put into this last script nicely and there is a quick flow. This episode captured the good writing of past seasons. THIS WAS A GREAT SCRIPT & SUPERB EPISODE!!! This was a ZENITH episode, one of the best or they best of the whole series. Glad to write--- WELL DONE!
hey!! I loved this episode!!! when Spencer was gutted I was so excited but my favorite scene or sequence of the episode was the end when the gang gets back together and we see Rick is back. You just feel a sense of wholeness in the group, a healing seeing them all together and now it's time for ALL OUT WAR

Also I found it weird how Negan basically did nothing to Rosita except a cut for almost killing him whilst Daryl gets locked up and tortured for a punch in the face. I know Olivia got shot but Glenn got killed for Daryl and he still took Daryl.
Also how do you think the finale will play out? Negan won't die but how do you guys think the next 8 episodes will play out?

P-Diddy it was a home made bullet so it not as much gun powder and other materials like a normal bullet, thats how negan knew it was manufactured by someone cause it didnt blow the bat up completely

There is speculation that the boots are from the leader (code name Brion) of a new group not in the comics. The nickname floating around for them is the "garbage pail kids" . I think it makes the most sense. We know Rick & the group will need a bunch more allies to take down the saviors in all out war.

I think when Darrel saw the tank in dwights room it was a tribute to Glenn because the way Glenn entered the show was when rick was trapped in the tank in Atlanta in season 1

Hershel got his head chopped off and we can see that head is a zombie, T-Dog gets bitten in the shoulder and i think his throught gets either bitten or ripped put, Abraham gets his head completely smashed just like Glenn did. So i think all of those characters are dead...

Fat Joey was eating a sandwich. And the lone wolf isn't from Oceanside. Rick & Aaron were headed north. Oceanside is located to the east.
A lot of military personal lace their boots like that. I don't know if that helps at all but it is something I noticed.

I saw Lucile being shot and Negan going rage something like the first step towards the uprising of Alexandria which later escalated up quickly.
Your Dwight call off is quite early. If you were to examine Dwight's room, you can see Daryl's canteen hanging on the left and binoculars on the shelf where he finds the peanut butter. The fact that he would run after Daryl escapes could be a valid headcanon. Also, where was Dwight this whole episode? Comic book/TV show Spoilers below.
In the comics, Dwight joins Rick and Co. It wouldn't be too much of a stretch to say he joins them for the war. Another fact is that the Walking Dead has issued a casting call for a character similar to Alpha, the head of the Whisperers, and Scott Gimple has confirmed there is a possibility the Whisperers come in quicker in the story than formerly. The reason I mention the Whisperers is because Dwight and the Saviors fight alongside them in the Whisperer war, so there's a BIG possibility that if the Whisperers are coming faster, so is Dwight.
you're talking about the Whisperer war when All Out War hasn't even occurred yet. I do believe Dwight will side with Rick by the end of the season but I wouldnt go and say that the Whisperer war is already approaching.

Boots could be worn by Carol . . . and her attempts to continuously check-up on Alexandria and the ones she loves. Even though she's supposedly a hermit, Carol has shown the tendency to leave and come back again

I was thinking the wire on the guys leg is a way to hold his smell in. maybe is part of the wisperers thing they do to help themselves blend into the background and why Rick never noticed him. I don't know though, just a guess.

i mean i remembered when Dwight heard Negan talking to Darryl about his love life and said ''we're totally cool''. that is such a big hint that Dwight wasn't cool with his current life with his relationship with his comrade and his Leader. I'm pretty sure Dwight will fight back. And he probably did helped Darryl getting back safely. Because he even asked where darryls bikes at, if he really hated Darryl, then he wouldn't have gone through the trouble of doing all this, feeding him, telling him waht to do in order to survive.

Ever since the beginning of this season, I've had a really hard time watching the show. Out of all my closest friends, I'm the only one that's trying to stick it out. I just watched the season finale (like I said, I've been having a hard time just watching the show) and I'm glad to see Rick step back up.
I do think the boot person is one of the Whispers. I mean, after Negan, the Whisperer war starts.

It is not anyone from the ocean side group. I re checked the episode and no one has any kind of shows or laces that matches the ones in question
if you look at previous pictures of Dwight, in specific by the campfire where him and Sheryl meet Daryl, his boots have the same back as that mysterious pair of boots, and above those boot, the pant bottoms are cuffed, the same way Dwight's are. in the comics, Dwight betrays Began and talks to Ezekiel and Rick at the Kingdom, but I believe they're doing things a bit differently with the TV show. I think the boots belong to Dwight. And if not, then it's definitely the beginning of the Whisperer, even though two years go by after Negans defeated and jailed in the comics before they introduced the Whisperers

it could possibly be richard from the kingdom he did go to that campsite maybe it was close to the lake where rick and aaron were and maybe he saw them taking those supplies from the boat and he decided to follow them back to alexandria to get help to take out the saviors but it is most likely a new character or something like that
