    Why are the big media houses silent on this issue. All vernacular radio stations should be informing their fans. I feel like they are letting our farmers down by keeping them ignorant on what's happening.

    The water amendment bill is the only good bill there, allowing private investment in provision of water will improve the water infrastructure and cure the water shortages all over the country, the govt can come up with good regulatory policies and enforcement agencies to protect consumers from any bad private actors

    • @josephkanyugi3799
      @josephkanyugi3799 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      No!!! It is one of the worst. What I have seen in the village where I come from is the listing of shallow wells, and there is push to backfill them because "they are not safe". Rainwater harvesting from roofs is also being targeted in the Rural Areas. We ain't seen nothing yet.

    • @antony6799
      @antony6799 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@josephkanyugi3799 We are talking about two different things, there is nothing in the water bill that will prevent you from using your wells or harvesting rain water, go read the bill on parliament's website

    • @Vhlathanosh
      @Vhlathanosh 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, it's not. Look up what is happening in the UK. Privatization is not good and will never be. Kenyans need to read wide and research more. They will eventually put profits over lives and you'll be on the receiving end of it. Google what is happening elsewhere before you claim it is good.
      "the govt can come up with good regulatory policies and enforcement agencies to protect consumers from any bad private actors"

    These bills are geared for people who own more than 1,000 acres. This Small Scale Farmer business will be a thing of the past in a few years from today. Soon, we shall have no Freehold Titles. They shall be counselled and Investors shall be allocated thousands of acres in your own indigenous homestead. Kenya has been taken over. Did you hear about "OWNERSHIP" of indigenous seeds?!!!!! Soon, someone shall come to your farm and ask you "whose" seed you planted. This is not GMO only, it is about control of Kenyan lives. You better sue these people NOW!!!! That Ndengu Chapati you are talking about is already in parliament. You just cant grow Ndengu any more. They call it MUNG BEANS in Kenyan Parliament.
