Let's change the law and reduce counties to a max of 12. It's currently not working. Recurrent expenditure just too high

This is not the right man to discuss the devolution agenda. He looks so scattered in his thought process

He has never been a governor but atleast he knows, has implemented good governance in his appointed positions so far in Bahati. Best Mp in Kenya and Nakuru County. Controller of budget also confirmed that all his monies were used appropriately.

@@OarkleyKenyaNetworkThe most ignorant man who can't put sentences together. If you're inspired by Ngujiri then the country is doomed. The same man who worked like a horse to put Ruto in power...

Why not get the controller of Budget to shade light on why counties are struggling to account for funds drawn from the exchequer. Funds already in the respective accounts but counties are not complying with the drawdown aide memoir expectations to be allowed to access more funds.

Let the national government establish checks and balances that regulate use of money in real time.
Corruption and recruitment anomalies are the order of the day. Let psc recruit and deploy to counties on need basis to check on tribalism, nepotism and return competence and discipline into the civil service.

The gov't never has too much or too little any money. Ukur Yatani in recent past has disputed & tried to put this out and it's true ... Gov't is like a scoreboard in a stadium. They can add or subtract goals/points . Lastly for those who desire KE gov't to be in surplus aka "save" someone else(private sector) will have to be in deficit!

You are mistaken. That's the narrative they want you to believe. When everyone will start doing their job as prescribed in the constitution, that's the day Kenya will start developing. People are focused on fleecing the public from national government to the counties. MPs are demanding development money?? This is a crazy country and the citizens aren't any better! Let the citizenry commence by electing sensible people of integrity for a start. Don't elect crooks and complain about a problem your very self planted.

Counties should be protected even more and be funded adequately. There should be more scrutiny as to how money is spent there, elect quality MCAs to make quality legislation to govern counties better. Stop with the mediocrity and you will get better services. Let people stop asking MPs and MCAs for funds because that's not their work. Let counties build all infrastructure needed at that level and avail crucial services as needed and nobody will need to beg for help. National government should just collect money and ensure it is disbursed on time. Why should a president starve counties of money yet they're supposed to work together to develop the country? Whose benefit is it to have poor unhealthy people as your citizens? Which kind of leaders do we have here? No wonder Trump called African countries shit holes, indeed we are and worse still led by shitty leaders who lack vision and patriotism.
