What about the fact that the Key would be tapered?? This is the problem I am searching for which brought me to this post. No answer to my problem yet.

You've probably figured this out, but you can just cut the long sides of the key with a normal 2D contour with no wrap. Use the wrap only for the cylindrical face around the key.

I am trying to do a part with some features full 4th simultaneous and other features 3+1. I’ve tried Tool orientation, but when I simulate, it shows the XYZ coordinates incorrectly on all surfaces except the 1st one which is G54.
Please help with programming a part using both full 4th and rotary positioning on multiple rotational surfaces.
    Thanks Lars for your channel!

there is a way to do a continuous 4th axis wrap toolpath within 2d contour with a stepdown and everything just I can't figure out how to post the rapid moves properly so when it goes into the next cut(stepdown) the rotary moves slow.

Do you have the same (w)rapping option with 3D toolpaths? Struggling with a v-belt drive wheel on my 4 axis cnc mill ... and no, I don´t have a lathe. that is what I´m building ... :-)

Does Inventor do 4th axis rotary tool paths easier than Fusion ?

No. It is the same CAM kernel in both software
