Just confirmed that this toolpath will NOT work on the Pocket NC V2. B axis (I incorrectly said A axis in video) will continue to rotate at start-up. This error may be due to post for machine.
So this is pretty awesome. Don't understand why it took me two days of hunting to find your video though. It should be right up top :) I got it to work with round shapes but other shapes (like oval) are more troublesome. Have you tried that?
It works on the software, but this process would probably take a different post edit to get it working. I wasn't able to get this to work on my current 5 axis machine.
Maybe I missed something. But I can't seem to figure out how this applies to 4th axis machine setups. Following your exact example the code still have from 5th axis tilt. Thoughts?
4th axis being continuous rotation around a set axis, tilt or no tilt.....5 axis is somewhat different with moving in x,y,z,a, and C at same time (if needed).
I have got it to work on Pocket NC, but it's limited to 20 full rotations in a single direction. (B axis does not reset to zero from 360). Other post processors from other manufacturers may work completely different.

Did you ever figure out how to make this work on the NC?
very helpful. Thanks
I came here for the step-down technique. Can you link the NYCCNC video where you learned to do that? He has so many videos, I can't find it.

Can't work with 4axis
Doesn't work with 4 axis.

@@loganrose2791 Thanks. The beta rotary work correctly. Text command, cam.f
@@Reaper9020 Haven't done that. Is that a fusion beta?
@@loganrose2791 yes
