I like knowing that Sara is the "Throne Warden". I just have a feeling she has more integrity in her little finger than so many today have in their whole body. I admire you all so much, it makes me want to cry.
I just love watching their faces when they open the boxes. How many children these days would be this appreciative of used clothes that are still in such good shape and not a thing wrong with it, I love it. It just warms my heart to see them appreciate every good thing so much. They have their priorities straight and it's so lovely to see. These are the first kids I've seen in a long time that are not spoiled or entitled, and I just pray they get all the things they dream of. They are humble and beautiful at heart and, deserve it.
Not too many would, @kel70. Most days, kids want the high priced things so they can flaunt it.
You know, I don't recall ever pointing this out on a video, but before we open a box that someone sent from their home address, we look at how much it cost the person to actually mail the package to us. I can tell you that postage isn't cheap!! For instance, for one box of Goodwill clothing that was sent to us, the postage was over $50! So, Mrs. Claudia's family may have sent us clothing that they were going to donate, but they spent a lot of money getting that clothing to our family and that is super humbling to think that they would do that for us. We do talk to the children about how families are using their hard-earned money to bless us and that it's a really big deal. I think it's good for them to know that presents don't just magically show up and fall into our laps. The givers are working hard and making sacrifices in other areas of their finances in order to bless us. 💕

Isn't it I mean I never seen such appreciative kids in my life and it just she brought them up so good and I watch the dockerty dozen and their mother buys them everything they don't even muster a thank-you I don't ever want to be so rich or have so much that I don't even know how to say thank you that would be horrible Gus's family God bless this family

I actually don't know if those kids truly realize how fortunate they are. How much it takes the mom to just grocery shop each week. Little harlee tho she gets so excited for things still.

I’m sooo happy for your family! I’m in Florida, and I’m in my late 50’s. I experienced a major life change last year when my marriage of 30 years ended. Since then, I have bought off grid property and I’m trying to develop a homestead. My days are long and sometimes filled with worries about my future. I turn to UTube for my entertainment and inspiration. Finding your family, along with the other friends that I follow helps me find a few minutes of rest from my daily struggles. Thanks so much for sharing, you have also given me some inspiration to start my own channel about my journey as a single woman restarting life off grid and making a new way to enjoy my life.

Gwen, you and I have some things in common. Im in my late 40s, but I’m also divorced. My baby (18 years old) still lives at home with me. My goal is to have a homestead. I’m also in Florida, but in the south, so I’m looking to get a place with some land in northern Florida, or even Missouri, Arkansas, ??
I don’t have money so I have to wait until I sell the house, which I can’t do right now because I’m in so much pain (back and muscle issues). So I feel like I’m stuck.

Nice! 👍 I'm thrilled to know that your kids are going to be taking a Sign Language class! I took many Sign Language classes and I absolutely loved them! One thing they'll need to learn is to watch their facial expressions or if there's a deaf person, they can be misunderstood, the person might think that they're swearing at them or scowling at them. I learned this in my classes and amongst the Deaf Community. I embarrassed myself on a few occasions. 😊 Good luck with their lessons!

Well I totally enjoyed watching your family open the gifts. They are so sweet. Each gift was wonderful in its own way. I in particular loved the greenhouse gifts because I have a greenhouse and love planting.

It was Sarah with Rebecca on her lap teaching her to sign thankyou and Sarah was so sweet with lil Rebecca. Summer is coming here to a end in northwest Ohio .Garden is almost done .Putting all the canning stuff away for the season .The leaves are changing farmers will be taking off crops here soon. Finally able to turn the AC off. had to have it worked on a week ago .Cost a arm and leg to get it fixed .But it is part of are heat pump to so had to do it. Janice and shawn want to give props to you for raising great, polite, respecting children they are all so grateful and genuinely happy with whatever they receive. What great parents they have to raise them 😊
What a fun video to watch! I was especially pleased to see you receive the great clothing assortment from one of your channel subscribers. We always prefer sharing with people we know ahead of giving to the big charity businesses. If no one we know would like to have what we are giving, then it cheerfully goes over to our local St. Vincent DePaul Charity Shop because they do some extra things for people that we appreciate. They will give baby cribs, clothing, and toys at no charge to financially struggling local families, and they will also take some sale proceeds and buy grocery store gift cards for these families also. I’m glad that your viewer was thoughtful about her giving. Some of the big charities in our area are not as much about people in need anymore, and seem to be more like for profit corporations. We’ve seen regular retail price tags put on new items they have been given, rather than providing these things at a lower price to families who need them but can’t afford retail pricing! So, I hope that everyone will take the time to think about how they give!
Your children are so happy and thankful. They all get joy just from watching the other ones have smiles on their faces. I'm telling you, you and your husband have raised some really great children. It was so nice of the families to send the things they sent.
