Bless Sam!!! Seeing him sleep like that make me think of my son Aaron. He could fall asleep, and I would wonder how in the world can he be comfortable. Even when we were taking him to leave for deployment, he fell asleep in the car. I wanted to cry....He was a young man, leaving home to serve, but he was still my baby. Now he has babies of his own.

Isn't this what life is all about?! Shawn and Janice, this is my favorite video you have put out so far. You could just feel the family love pouring through this video. I am a fellow Christian homeschooling mama, so I appreciate and understand how it feels when family members are away from home. We are used to everyone being together! This video shows others who may not be familiar with homeschooling how homeschool families are so close, from youngest to oldest. We are each other's best friends and companions! We truly enjoy each other's company. It seems when kids go to school, siblings are split up every day, parents go to work, that american families just aren't as close and connected as they should be. I hope this encourages others to homeschool. Family is a blessing; don't give it away to the world. I loved seeing y'all reunited. So kind that they brought Rebekah a gift. So thoughtful. Nothing better than families and family history. I thank God everyday that I have been raised to appreciate my foundation and where I came from . Every year on my birthday I call my mommy and daddy and thank them for having me. Without them I would not be. I'm 47 and I'm so thankful to have them both in my life everyday. Never take your family for granted always appreciate what God has blessed you with.

I think I've said this before but every home needs a Sarah. There is no end to her talents and she does everything with so much joy, enthusiasm and love in her heart. Sarah, you looked absolutely STUNNING in your beautiful blue dress! I am positive that your friend will love the dress you are making for her. Your skirt looked so warm comfortable and this is something I would wear. In fact, I have been hunting down a green checked shirt like Sarah's one for a while now. We have similar taste in clothes. Abigail and Anna looked beautiful in their new dresses and the boys were all looking smart too. I'm glad you all enjoyed your time with your family. Andrews face when he realised how special the guitar was had me reaching for the tissues. For years now i have had my Dads guitar that he bought second hand when he was a student in 1966. He taught himself how to play it and it was passed on to my brother, who also taught himself how to play it. When he bought a new guitar, the old one was passed down to me and I too taught myself how to play it. It has served our family well and means a lot to me. I hope one day Andrew can pass his guitar down to his children or Grandchildren too. Blessed family ❤️🕯️🙏

What a well-packed van. The girls look lovely in their dresses. I have fond memories of pretty dresses and family get-together/reunions. You remember those kind of good times forever. I also remember special 1:1 time with one parent or another when one of them had to stay home due to chores or church related events. I was often the child that stayed back for longer trips-- being the oldest and all. What a wonderful video Janice. Special late summer times before winter comes. Thanks for sharing.
I’m glad you had such a nice trip! My great aunt loved to be 103! My daughter didn’t get to meet her great-great aunt but my great aunt did get to see pictures of her before she passed! My daughter was only months old! My old neighbor was a gunner in WWII and he trained at Washington University in St. Louis! My sister went to college there so was neat to recreate his photo standing out front of the school! The house must have felt really empty with everyone gone! Congratulations Andrew for winning the trophy and getting your grandfather’s guitar that’s really special! I’m sure he’ll cherish it forever!
This was an awesome video and it brought back so many memories of my childhood when we would travel back to Ohio every where my mom grew up on a farm. She was the youngest of 7 children and so we had huge reunions along with all the cousins as well as extended family. What a treasure that your son got his grandfather's guitar. It brought tears to my eyes . On another note...Sarah looks absolutely beautiful in the dress she made. What a talent to be able to make your own clothes. .My mom made most of my clothes when I waS growing up. Lots of memories were made even for those who had to stay behind to care for the animals .

My father was from Oklahoma and we would go there for family reunions have been there in awhile my father is gone now and one of his sisters my aunt is still living and many cousins are still there but due to expensive high prices I haven't been back to visit

I am dogsitting my Dads english bulldog right now and as you were filming their returning and the dogs were barking, the bulldog here went crazy! I told him to stop a couple times and gave him the "knock it off" look and he looked at me with his head sideways like I was out of my mind. He then proceeded to bark at the walls. It was hilarious!

What a well-packed van. The girls look lovely in their dresses. I have fond memories of pretty dresses and family get-together/reunions. You remember those kind of good times forever. I also remember special 1:1 time with one parent or another when one of them had to stay home due to chores or church related events. I was often the child that stayed back for longer trips-- being the oldest and all. What a wonderful video Janice. Special late summer times before winter comes. Thanks for sharing.

I’m glad you had such a nice trip! My great aunt loved to be 103! My daughter didn’t get to meet her great-great aunt but my great aunt did get to see pictures of her before she passed! My daughter was only months old! My old neighbor was a gunner in WWII and he trained at Washington University in St. Louis! My sister went to college there so was neat to recreate his photo standing out front of the school! The house must have felt really empty with everyone gone! Congratulations Andrew for winning the trophy and getting your grandfather’s guitar that’s really special! I’m sure he’ll cherish it forever!

This was an awesome video and it brought back so many memories of my childhood when we would travel back to Ohio every where my mom grew up on a farm. She was the youngest of 7 children and so we had huge reunions along with all the cousins as well as extended family.
What a treasure that your son got his grandfather's guitar. It brought tears to my eyes . On another note...Sarah looks absolutely beautiful in the dress she made. What a talent to be able to make your own clothes. .My mom made most of my clothes when I waS growing up. Lots of memories were made even for those who had to stay behind to care for the animals .

My father was from Oklahoma and we would go there for family reunions have been there in awhile my father is gone now and one of his sisters my aunt is still living and many cousins are still there but due to expensive high prices I haven't been back to visit

I am dogsitting my Dads english bulldog right now and as you were filming their returning and the dogs were barking, the bulldog here went crazy! I told him to stop a couple times and gave him the "knock it off" look and he looked at me with his head sideways like I was out of my mind. He then proceeded to bark at the walls. It was hilarious!
They passed our exit, we live about we live 5 miles from Arkansas Nuclear One on the opposite side of the hwy. Fun following along with you girls at home and the family on the road trip!

(from Shawn) Hi Jason. Its been crazy around here as well. The editing for the video on the trip was the most challenging so far, like the voiceover with the photos. We're slowly learning how to make better videos. The two cameras worked out great since we were in two locations. Hope you guys are doing well. I've got to figure out a way to get free during one of your livestreams, I always enjoy them but seems like I can't get back inside until its over.
