Ive been following you heavily the last 6 months for your amazing caustic work. Hats off to you sir Brockovich of Hardington. I was trying to find out what, if any, synths the ones in caustic are based on. Would you have any idea? The bassline is obvious, fm synth also, sub synth based on a sh101? Very curious to know. Any info would be highly appreciated. Big love from Ireland
I'm not really quite sure if the synths are based off a specific look or model or synthesizer except the bassline which I think is the Roland 303. The Subsynth is short for subtractive synthesis which is just any synth that starts with a pure signal and takes away from that signal with filters and LFO's. That's why it's called subtractive. On the other hand, additive synthesis is the opposite. You add pure sine waves together to sculpt a sound. I'm not sure if the SubSynth is based on a real model. What real synthesizer is the FM synth based on? I'm not good with identifying real synths. It would be interesting to post this question on singlecellsoftware.com, you can probably get more info there or on R/CausticDAW (reddit)
@@brockhardentertainment thanks for the reply man. I always just assume that since the fm synth uses the same colour scheme as the yamaha dx models thats somewhat based on one of those. Going by what the preset sounds and their names I'd say it would be possible but some effort that Haha. Any time i try go to the makers website i get sent off somewhere else
@@brockhardentertainment I got in through your hyperlink. Its seems that the synths are based on different types of synthesis rather than brands/models
i love your act in the itro bruv XD
😁😁😁

@@TeslaDanser yeah sometimes it sends you to some weird site but if you try a couple different methods, it should work. Maybe try some google links.
@@TeslaDanser I checked out the Yamaha dx series and I can see the similarities.
