Man. Luis García’s shots were precise. Also, it just gives me goosebumps and excitement seeing García celebrating with his teammates. It just makes me want to be there to cheer for Mexico.
Yeah, Luis Garcia, Garcia Aspe & Luis Alvez took us a part that day. Charlton's tactics in this match helped the Mexicans a lot as well, in that weather playing long ball football were we had to chase the ball was insanity, plus he had the most useless striker in the world in Tommy Coyne, plus Terry Phelan & Phil Babb couldn't play in that weather both the Mexican & Dutch players ran rings around them in Orlando, it came to a point where the Irish players just stopped listening to the manager & started passing the ball around which is what got us the Aldridge goal, it was 13 pass move.
This was the group of death along with Italy and Norway all 4 teams finished with 4 points the goal difference was what decided who would move on and who would go home

Aldridge should've started, we couldn't hold the ball up, the Mexican defence and midfield where brilliant, was a tough one to watch.

The heat was a factor. After playing Italy in New Jersey at 29°C, Ireland had to face Mexico in Orlando at 12:30 PM, and the temperature was nearly 35°C under the unforgiving midday sun. It suited the Mexicans, but not the Irish. I also agree that John Aldridge should have started. But despite the 2-1 defeat, Ireland's fighting spirit was there for all to see.
Et comme par hasard on mettez les petites équipes avec les grandes équipes qui avait l'expérience du mondial et on peut remarquer dans ce match tout était en faveur des Mexicain pour continuer l'ambiance du tournoi
None of that, the game was even from the beginning and when Mexico's first goal fell, the Irish became a little unmotivated and that made Mexico play better than them, they practically dominated the entire game and the refereeing had nothing to do with it.
Le Mexique n'était pas le Brésil quand même. Il y avait beaucoup de supporters mexicains car à Orlando mais il n'y a eu aucun problème d'arbitrage sur ce match.
Juste la girafe Charlton qui pête un câble à cause de la chaleur et de son kick and rush dégueulasse qui ne marchait pas devant de bons techniciens.

Porque el árbitro no hacía los cambios y quedaba poco tiempo para que se terminará el juego y los irlandeses necesitaban anotar un gol o mínimo empatar, por eso se enojo el jugador porque le dice que ya habían pasado 3 minutos y no les autorizaban los cambios a sus asistentes
