I have a 2020 Honda CR V Touring that has built in navigation system. There is NO built in update for the Nav. You have to do a very complicated procedure to update. I wonder if this is still true with the 2025 built in nav system? Yes, I can use Apple Car Play for nav, but this is a big flaw in the built in system. What's with the missing garage door system in a $40,000 automobile?
This has been an issue with Honda's since their physical DVD based navigation system. Personally I just use Android Auto so I don't have much knowledge as far updating, but hopefully someone with chime in.
I had the 2018 CRV Touring with the Garmin navigation built in and I was able to go on line to Garmin Express and download updates to a thumb drive and then transfer to the car. I am not familiar with the 2020 GPS so I don't know if that is a possibility. I just bought the 2024 CRV Touring Hybrid with built in GPS and I think it has Google Maps but I don't know if this automatically updates???
Honda has been very conservative as far as their tech, but they have it available in other models. To their defense is their tech almost never breaks. 😀
@@ShinyTurd1 well, i had a conversation woth a friend this morning who purchased a brand new Chrysler Pacifica last mont and had flat tire on Saturday night. Waited 3 hours for the tow truck to show up and since he was far away from home he is out $600 and still has to buy a tire. We found a temporary one on Amazon for about $400. Maybe that could be the solution. Unfortunately many new vehicles, especially Hybrids dont have spare tires as the space is used by batterries.
Just bought a 2025 and I agree, it sucks. Maybe down the road they will do the right thing and provide a spare. Heck they have room for a spare in the accord but no spare is offered.
No spare and no flat floor is a deal breaker for ME. I had a late model Honda with no spare tire that left me stranded at 2am waiting for a tow. I hit a pothole that punctured the sidewall so the fix a flat kit was useless! I know I can buy a spare and put it in the rear but really ???
Doesn't look like there is any change from the 2024. 360 camera is still missing. 😭
Pretty much the same
Is the backup camera clear pic I just purchased a 2025 mine is blurry

@@Clarkbarsc it should have the options for over the air update.
Does it have power folding side mirrors?
No it does not.
i like chrome wheels myself
There are options for everyone!
Passed on a 24 CR-V Hybrid because of black rims and black interior. Looked like a hurst.
My problem with the CRV is not having a spare, every car should have a spare.
Yes, I agree, but this is becoming rare nowadays especially with hybrids where the space normally used for spare tires is used for batteries.
Its 2025 but the cluster screen still not full yet. Is the full screen that expensive?

No spare, that’s a no go for me. I would like to give the CRV a look over the rav4 but not until there is a spare tire.

Those aren’t paddle shifters behind the steering wheel.
Yes. Regen. Thank you.
does have head up display?
No. It does not.
Very thorough
Safety features, when turn right no picture to see clear on the screen.
You mean the video blind spot assist? They used to have it in some models, now only warnibg light on the side.

On a hybrid unfortunately there is no room for spare as that's where the battery is. Unless of course you just keep it in the cargo area.
CRV or RAV4 Hybrid?
