    The ending of this episode honestly surprised me in a way that I never thought it could. From day one, I thought Paz only wanted to reclaim the glory of his house, that he had no real honor; then to go on and to see him change into a true warrior and follow Din purely out of honor and duty. His sacrifice to save everybody else hit me in the feels. I honestly didn’t realize that I liked that character until he died.

    I thought it was suspicious that The Armorer would take the "survivors" to the fleet. If anyone were to go to the Great Forge, The Armorer would be the top of the list. Then seeing Gideon having horns on his helmet made me think even more that she was working with him. This was the best episode in the season, but we really should have been at this point a solid 2-3 episodes earlier. I do love the idea of the next generation of Dark Troopers equipped with Beskar armor. Grogu breaking up the fight between Paz and Axe was a nice moment, shows that Grogu is maturing and cares for the people that have taken him in. Paz Vizsla's sacrifice was emotional, but a bit unneeded, he could have hit the button and rolled under the door before it closed. But if there was anyway for Paz to go out, this was it. Fighting to his last breath, taking as many enemies with him as possible. Would have liked to see him kill 1 of the Praetorian Guards though.

    • @XeriousIV
      @XeriousIV ปีที่แล้ว +28

      I agree with your other points here, but I don't view Paz Vizsla's sacrifice as unnecessary. If he had closed the door and rolled under it, there's nothing to stop the imperials from simply hitting the button and opening the door again since the controls are on their side. You could argue he could've shot the controls to seal the door before rolling under, but I don't think he would've had enough time for that considering he's a pretty big guy and not very nimble with all his heavy gear.

As wrong as the Armorer has been at times, even she realized that the Mandalorian factions need to come together and finally defeat their common enemy. Axe Woves, and the three Mandalorians they meet on the surface are the most suspect. Why would the writers have Paz beat the crap out of Axe for no reason and then give him such a heroic end? While I get why a lot of people think the armorer is the spy, I have 3 strong reasons why it doesn’t really make sense that it would be her.
    1. Would the other mandalorians, especially Bokatan, not be extremely suspicious of her because of her horned helmet.
    2. Moth Gideon was surprised when Elia Kane told him that the mandalorians were reuniting to retake mandalor. If the armorer was a spy, then Moth Gideon would already know this and not be surprised.
    3. Why would Gideon want the mandalorians reunited to completely annihilate them, when it would be a lot easier for them to kill the tribes separately, or to just let them die off naturally? As Bokatan said, “our own division makes us weak”, so why would the armorer want mandalorians to be United if she was working for Moth Gideon?

      I think they're actually from the Nevarro covert, my theory is that when the imperials came and had them on the ropes, those that could get away did but the ones who stayed behind were given the same choice Bo was (hence her telling that story it fills us in on what happened but also shows us how Gideon operates) and the Armorer accepted to give the ones who escaped a chance to survive, hell it may even have been the terms of their surrender, so Gideon inserted the Nevarro survivors with the Mandalore survivors and left the Armorer in the wild to pretty much group up the Mandos. The Armorer could know through Gideon that Din removed his helmet so sent him to Mandalore to confirm what Gideon no doubt told her about the planet still being inhabitable, with that knowledge and Bo having arrived as an ally the Armorer then sent Bo to unite the clans, but of course despite spying for Gideon she isn't loyal to him, so didn't inform him of that part.
      If her and the Mandos she took to the fleet do try to overtake it then they'll likely try and fight Gideon straight away or she'll be aware of the imminent attack and have them escape trapping Bo and crew on Mandalore, but may still return with reinforcements.

    I think that the armorer is definitely suspicious because of how many times the camera panned to her heading to the ship. It gave me a very eerie feeling like I knew something was gonna happen. Here's my biggest problem with the season: Mando (Din Djarin) has no story. He has no arc. After he was redeemed, he started following Bo around and supporting her cause. That's it. In fact, there was no reason for Moff Gideon to capture him in this episode. He should have just killed him.

And woe upon poor Din Djarin, captured and in need of rescue for the 3rd time this season, if you count his deep dive into the Living Waters. When you survive Breaking Bad, you live long enough to become a Mandalorian! Love that Charles Baker was a Mandalorian Survivor that stayed on Mandalore! I hope we see more of him in future episodes. I loved that there was Survivors all along scavenging the lands, I hope they aren't spies or betrayers! There could possibly be other Mandalorian Surviving Clans elsewhere on the planet, vying for Leadership once they find out Bo has taken over completely. This season has felt very Game Of Thrones the North, the way the Mandalorians are secluded to others but are very loyal as a whole and are starting to build back up. Could get like GOT with Clans siding with different Clans for certain leadership, once they get rid of Gideon. I feel like the Armorer use to be a Mauldalorian but went back to the way of True Mandalorian, I feel like the Mandalorians are starting to come together, and Paz was very loyal to the Armorer I would be shocked if she allowed him to go on the scout mission just to die knowing what was coming. Loved Paz and his death hit hard for me cause he was my favorite Mandalorian, but his son Ragnar is actually a Teenage Mando hence why Paz told him to "take the kids" away from the Mandalorian Confrontation. Hope we see Ragnar grow throughout the rest of the series and fights against Thrawn in the war, for his Family name the Vizsla Clan. Still hoping Din and Bo share Mandalore Leadership.
