Miyako started playing piano at the age of three and has thiirty years of experience plus she taught herself guitar and has played guitar for over fifteen years.
Miyako is a generational talent who is a virtuoso on BOTH the guitar and piano. She has been classically-trained on the piano since the age of 3. Miyako also composed & arranged "Swan Song" and this track is a neoclassical metal masterpiece. Throughout the song, you can hear motifs from Romantic-era composers Chopin (intro, main riff, solo) and Dvořák (Chorus). Miyako's piano intro is Chopin's "Étude Op. 10, No. 12 in C minor", aka the "Revolutionary Étude". Each member of this band just oozes with her unique charisma and flair.
Miyako's piano piece is a Chopin Etude and it takes a bit of practice to play it to this level...about 10 years practice usually does it! She played piano since aged 3 and only turned to guitar in her teens. They are such a talented band, up there with the best from past eras and on top of everyone else now. Great reaction as ever - you both make me smile with your funny comments.
This song is as Epic as you can get in Metal. Everything about this song is Absolute Perfection. Anything Chopin is Generally Bad Ass but Lovebites turns that level up x10. Wolfpack!
The Chopin Etude is very difficult to play because it is left-hand dominate. Many teachers use it as an exercise for the left. Also she is playing by memory, which astonished Dizzy Reed, keyboards for GnR. When you are hearing the piano during the song, it's a backing track pre-recorded by Miyako. Asami wrote the lyrics. Saw a short video, they are in Europe on Tour, Miyako found a band in a Bar/Reaurant and played some guitar with them!!
you are in for a hell of a ride my friend. welcome to the wolfpack. every song they do - almost 60 - are all epic and self written. beauties that are beasts! best metal band on earth. try this live of ' holy war ' on for size and be blown away : th-cam.com/video/bgAxpEpEcno/w-d-xo.html
And they have almost 60 more original songs ... not one of which is a bad song. For anyone who likes this classic metal sound, LOVEBITES will probably become one of your all time favourite bands.
Your reaction oozed with greatness...😂.. Miyako is a gift from the heavens.. She is not only next level naturally gifted, but she works damn hard at her craft.. Not taking away from the rest of Lovebites, Queens of Metal (and beyond)..Each of them are virtuosos artists..
It always helps if you remember that Miyako is a concert level trained classical pianist who at the age of 19 or 20 decided to teach HERSELF to play the guitar - I know ! 🤷♂

As has been said already in the comments, Miyako is a classically trained pianist 🎹 from the age of 3!!! When she went to university (she was a music major obviously); her primary focus was concert piano 🎹 performance and composing!!!! At age 18, while attending university, is when she 1st picked up the guitar 🎸 and 1st song she learned to play on guitar 🎸 was Metallica's "Master of Puppets!" Miyako is completely self taught on guitar 🎸!!!! Her favorite guitarist 🎸 is the late, great, Gary Moore, and listening to her play guitar 🎸 his influence on her really shines through!!!!! BTW, Miyako also plays synthesizer, bass, horns (French Horn specifically), strings, wood winds, and of course drums 🥁 as well!!! Miyako is also the primary composer and arranger of LOVEBITES music; approximately 60-65% of it! Asami is the primary lyricist of Lovebites, and does some composing as well; a bit of composing on her own or in collaboration with either Miyako or Mao!!! If you want more piano 🎹 from Miyako, check out her piano cover of Helloween's song "Eagle Fly Free!" LOVEBITES also did a full band cover of this song, so maybe check out both!!!! Both versions can be found on LOVEBITES TH-cam channel!!!!! Miyako is continuously OOZING talent!!! Wish she could OOZE some of her talent on me!!!!! Can't wait to see what you find Lovebites OOZING next!!!!!
Lovebites oozes talent and class. They truly are the Metal Queens 👑. Miyako has stated that she is a piano player first. They have quite a few masterpiece songs, this being just one of them. I'm glad you caught the depth of the lyrics in this song.
I was wondering when you both would get to this song. This song is a modern masterpiece. I challenge anyone to name any other musician who is world-class on both the guitar and piano. Two instruments that are notoriously difficult to master. Yes, Miyako has classical piano training and can clearly play a rather difficult classical piece on the piano, then grab a pick and immediately shred on the guitar. But Miyako's brilliance aside, Haruna on the drums absolutely slays on this song. Also, congrats and good luck with the new home and the move, and I hope you both continue to "ooze" good vibes and love.
There is at least one other. I used to put a comment just like yours under Swan Song reactions and someone replied with a name. I checked him out, and he was indeed world class on both electric guitar and the piano. (I can't remember that musician's name now). Also, I would expect that across the planet, there are also some more. But the point is, there wouldn't be very many with the combined musical talent that Miyako possesses.
@@1970Phoenix - Jordan Rudess the keyboardist for Dream Theater has been mentioned. He doesn't play guitar for Dream Theater which might give some idea of what his fellow band mates think of his guitar playing. I have seen videos of him playing guitar, and he is not bad, much better than most. I have also seen videos of Miyako playing bass and drums. IMHO, calling Jordan Rudess a world-class guitarist would be the same as adding world-class bassist to Miyako's accolades.
@@HH-mw4sq The musicians that was mentioned to me wasn't Jordan Rudess. But regarding Jordan, I'd say as a keyboardist, he is as good as Miyako, but from what I've seen of him playing guitar, I've never seen anything that causes me to believe he has the same level of technical skill as Miyako. Don't misunderstand me, Jordan is a very competent guitarist. I'm just saying I've not seeen anything that causes me to think he is an elite guitarist. So, to summarise, and in my opinion: Miyako: Elite keyboardist and Elite Guitarist Jorden: Elite keyboardist and Good Guitarist
Some knowledge of history is required to understand the meaning of the lyrics of this song. In 1831, some officers and citizens rose up against the Polish government, which was under the de facto control of the Russian Empire, in what was known as the 'November Revolution', but failed due to the direct intervention of Russian troops. Chopin received this news during a performance tour. He never set foot on the soil of his homeland again. When the Russians invaded Warsaw, Chopin's representatives presented the Etude OP 10, No. 12 in Paris. Franz Liszt, a friend of Chopin, then named it the 'Revolutionary Etude'. Miyako composed Swan Song based on this 'Revolutionary Etude' and Dvorak's 'New World Symphony'. Asami (vocalist), a former ballerina, wrote the lyrics inspired by Norse mythology and the ballet suite "Swan Lake", based on the historical background of the "Revolutionary Etude". "SwanSong" is a requiem for the warriors who fought to reclaim their homeland, a masterpiece that only Love Bites could complete.
Get ready for the OOZE! I would place this song alongside, and usually above, the best that any other artist has to offer. Extra credit goes to Asami for singing everything in a language that she is not conversationally fluent in. And she does it all without it affecting the charisma that naturally OOZES, (I wish now you had not asked for this!)and radiates in all directions! Imagine any of our favorite western singers trying to forge their way singing Japanese! Asami (along with each LB member) is a gift, and I eagerly and gladly receive!

@@CoachCastTV 🐺 Please note the first verse, last line is mis-quoted in the embedded captions on the video you watched. The correct words are "It is not the length, but depth of life that counts" ("length" is correct, not 'worth')
Miyako is a classically trained pianist from the age of 3. She is also extremely modest. There is a recent short video on YT of her playing in a bar in Valencia Spain with a group of guys. " Lovebites Miyako "I made some fellow musicians in Valencia" June 2024 " She told them she "can play guitar a little" Having seen her on stage in London recently I will confirm that "yes she can" 😄🐺
Thanks for your reaction. 'Etude Op.10, No.12' ( or 'Revolutionary Etude') by the Great Polish composer Frederic Chopin, which was written in 1831 and is dedicated to the Polish patriots who raised an uprising (1830-1831) against the Russian Empire, whose troops occupied Poland. 'Swan Song' ( lyrics - Asami / music - Miyako) from LOVEBITES third studio Album 'Electric Pentagram' (2020). For many centuries (starting from Ancient Greece) there is a legend, according to which Swans, non-singing, "silent" birds, acquire a voice a few moments before death, and this dying singing of Swans is amazingly beautiful. 'Etude' by F. Chopin and 'Swan Song' are dedicated to the warriors who died in battle. Therefore, at the concert, 'Etude' and 'Swan Song' are played together. In an interview given after the release of the 'Electric Pentagram' Album, singer Asami (a former ballerina, studied classical ballet for about 16 years before becoming a singer) said that when she wrote the lyrics of the song, she was thinking about the famous ballet P.I. Tchaikovsky 'Swan Lake'. During the performance of the song, Asami imitates the Swan (hand movements). And in the final part (piano Miyako), symbolizing the death of the Swan, Asami depicts the dying Swan on stage. Since the camera at the end of the song is focused on Miyako playing the piano, Asami's "death of the Swan" was not captured in the shot. Asami added some Scandinavian mythology (Valhalla) to the lyrics. The attitudes towards death among the Japanese Samurais and the Scandinavian Vikings were very similar. For Samurais and Vikings, death in combat with weapons in their hands is a death worthy of a warrior. Death in battle is better than death from old age in your bed. All Vikings dreamed of dying in battle because then they could go to Valhalla (Hall of warriors killed in battles) where they would meet God Odin and other Vikings who fought bravely and died in arms.
Lovebites are on their European/UK tour. I saw them in London on the 14th this month in a 350 capacity venue. No bariiers, Icould literally reach out and shake hand with Asami I was that close. The girls were fantastic and seemed to be having a lot of fun despite the tiny stage. Earlier this week they played at the rock festival Rock Imperium in Cartagena Spain. In her down time Miyako went of by herself in Valencia and came acroos a bar / club or similar where a band was playing. One of the guys asked her in and asked if she could play guitar, and Miyako replied that she could play guitar a little bit. She jammed with them and I am sure they got a shock when they realized how good she was. What a ringer
Does Miyako have a classic background? One needs more than just a classic background to play that piece known as a challenging etude to play although it is not the complete piece. She has been playing classic piano from her three and she started self teaching guitar at her eighteen. Guitar is her secondary instrument. Hence she is a classic pianist who also plays metal guitar.
When did we hear such musical capabilities before ? Seems to be some time ago since effortless chord progressions and key changes, mastery of instruments, great voice and lyrics, marvellous stage presence, came to our ears and eyes in such emotional triggering package. . . and it's metal. . . !
Yes Miyako was Classically trained on Piano since age 3 and she taught herself Guitar around 19 or 20 and she can also play drums and bass the question remains what can't she play?
I was a huge J.Geils band fan - I have most of their records and their live ones are fantastic! Back to Lovebites: I saw them one week ago and my only regret is that Miyako had no piano - "only" guitar 😏. j/k, concert of the year for me, seeing them in a 350 places venue is a dream came true!
me too - my favorite album by them is an early one 'the morning after' . ' gonna find me a new love' , whammer jammer , etc. saw them in '71 in a big field at franklin pierce college in new hampshire. free concert.
Yes, Miyako is a concert level classical pianist, trained since 3 years old. Next suggestion “Empty daydream” or “Spellbound” (live), or “Raising” (acoustic live version, with only Asami and Miyako on piano) Btw, this is Asami before Lovebites:
You were obviously mesmerised by the sheer talent on display. The speed of Haruna's double kicks, Miho's finger work on the bass guitar (often overlooked) and the masterful display of musicianship by Miako and Madori is something to behold. Everyone in sync with both Miako and Midori playing harmoniously together. They have practiced together for years. Great reaction as usual guys.
So wonderful to experience a band, all of whom have genuine talent, and masterfully play their instruments to combine into a seamless whole, with great vocals and very thought-provoking lyrics (Thanks for the subtitles) Very impressed.
Etudes are actually practice pieces for the musician. In this case it is meant to train the left hand. Because the left hand is often neglected when playing the piano.
This group has won many awards & honors. They dominated the charts in past years. They'll be inducted into Hall of fame if retires someday. We are so lucky they're from my country
Dominated? Huh. They've been on the Oricon charts for sure, but I wouldn't go all the way up to "dominated." I'd buy that if you were talking about B'z or maybe Babymetal. Also, what awards and honors have they won aside from the 2018 Golden God Award for Best New Band in the last year those awards were handed out?
Crowd participation songs: M.D.O. and Raise Some Hell Guitar Solos that never end but amaze: Scream For Me Whole different level of talent again: Frozen Serenade
Hi again you two, hope you are well 😊 Well, they are definitely oozing of sheer class but I've got to say I'm oozing with excitement and anticipation as I get to see them here in London next Monday 😊!! It's a small venue, only holding 600 but I'm sure they'll blow everyone away! Take good care of yourselves 😃 😊
The amount of talent on stage here is indeed just staggering. They're truly amazing and indeed their lyrics are very strong and positive. Try frozen serenade next for something a little different from them though i'll guarantee you'll be stunned :-)
so funny mrs coach asking mr coach if he knew who chopin was. he obviously did as he pronounced the name correctly as many fail to do when reacting to this video
Both of you your eyes are oozing wonderment while looking to this video of Lovebites. And yes; it's a great song, a wonderful blend of classic and metal with Miyako shining as the brightest star.
This one and Frozen Serenade belong in a museum. Miyako is a generational talent, but they all are exceptionally talented. My favorite band of all time. They truly are captivating on stage and just ooze class (I was working hard to try to work the word of the day in - can you ooze class? lol). I recommend the other two "E" songs. Yes, they can shred with the best of them, but the "E" songs are special. They don't have a bad song and I recommend all of them, but I suggest Epilogue th-cam.com/video/JIAJYBuuKGM/w-d-xo.html with its message, it is not uncommon to shed tears. You're very correct about the message in their songs being so good. I also suggest Empty Daydream th-cam.com/video/BkPxcnsRjlk/w-d-xo.html which has amazing vocal harmonies and lyrics. It's kind of an 80s song had they stepped out of a time machine. I love both songs.
New EP and also a Blu-ray will be released on August 28. „LOVEBITES EP II“ will also contain a re-recording of the debut „LOVEBITES EP“ in a limited edition „Memorial of the Warrior Souls“ is the recording of last years paid livestream which features 7 live versions from „Judgement Day“ album including „Soldier stands solitarily“
Great reaction Mrs & Mr Coach!! About Miyako ……. please watch this short: th-cam.com/users/shortsqf8JKvic2-s Miyako with Lovebites is touring in Europe these days. One evening she was walking alone and heard music coming from a small bar named “French Club”, I believe, in Cartagena (Spain). An all-male band was playing inside and they invited her to join asking which instrument she could play and she told them “I play guitar a little ….” Then, after watching how good she was able to play, one of the guy asked “what you mean a little?”🤣 “I play guitar a little ….” how much humble she is !!!!
Mr. and Mrs. Coach Miyako is Ooozing with talent. She is first and foremost a classically trained pianist then a guitarist which she taught herself how to play. Then she also plays the Bass and drums. And she is a good singer as well. She is amazing.
ooze along to the next song you guys.. BURDEN OF TIME - Studio Live is a banger, and you get to see our favorite pianist playing piano and guitar at the same time.. Oozing with talent this band..
Well they are currently touring Europe and setting it on fire with their LIVE performances. Miyako just posted a video where she dropped into a bar and started jamming with local musicians....totally humble, classy and loves to share with music fans. M&M practice together away from the band and despite being polar opposites blend together and influence each other positively. Here Miyako demonstrates what she believes...that classical music and metal are cousins with much more in common than most of us truly understand. Her savant brain composed this piece but it is her insanely talented band-mates that can play it at this level LIVE. This band hasn't missed a beat and Fami has brought a new dimension since she came onboard after Miho's departure. You two are a riot and another great enjoyable reaction to one of the most gifted bands I have ever experienced and that includes Cream, CCR, Tull, Doors, Stones, Yes, ELP, AC/DC and all the great metal bands. These musicians are insanely talented at each instrument but unlike Cream there is no ego wars, no drama, no drugs and no disrespect between members. Miyako did an LP of 6 metal songs she converted into classical pieces try her piano version of Helloween's Eagle Fly Free to see how truly gifted she is th-cam.com/video/-h3BLRs0Xr4/w-d-xo.html . IMHO she is best on piano but she is okay on guitar, synth, keytar, drums, bass or anything else she can play.....LOL!!!!
@@PaleHorseShabuShabu That is why they had to tour again outside Japan. They need to re-expose metal-heads and music lovers everywhere to their insane talent. The sparks are small but this is about to explode and the Wolfpack will soon be overrun with many new members!!!!
Great reaction!! Y'all make me laugh. You also keep me company on the road. Keep up the good work! Not sure if anyone has mentioned this in any of your other Lovebites reactions, but they will be in The US in September. At the ProgPower Festival in Atlanta, which sold out quickly for the day they are playing. Then they're off to Dallas on September 8th. Then over to the west coast for a few more shows. Hopefully Lovebites will get a good reception and they'll add more dates. I'll be OOZING into Dallas in my Big Truck 🚛 to see them a day before my birthday. Happy Birthday to me!! Y'all have a good one, and Rock On🤘🤘🤘
Yeah, we saw that they had some dates here in the USA. You be safe out there. We appreciate you watching and are a bit jealous that you get to see them live. What a nice present!
Thank you for getting to this. Chopin's Etudes were written as "studies", or lessons, for his students. They ended up being popular things for professional pianists to play as part of their concerts, in part to show off their skills. This is one of the more famous ones and is considered one of the most difficult ones. Miyako, who composes a lot of Lovebites’ music, is a professional-level concert pianist, and was originally going to make classical music her career. When she was 18, she picked up a guitar, and is now (quite obviously) an elite-level guitarist. She particularly likes the Romantic Era classical composers like Debussy, Dvořák and Chopin, as well as her stated favorite, Russian romantic composer Rachmaninoff. She composed “Swan Song” using elements of the New World Symphony (Dvořák) and Chopin’s Revolutionary Etude (official name Étude Opus 10, No. 12 in C minor). For this performance, she actually played the Etude as the intro, but it’s not normally included in their shows.
Who won the 1st superbowl is culture enough. The ladies never fail to impress. Immensly talented. Miyako is a classically trained pianist. A large % of Japanese start learning music around 6 yrs old...amd it shows.
Nice reaction and I like your hat. 👍 The talent of these ladies is in the stratosphere. They always will surprise you. I like the harmonies in this song that sound so good because Miyako is on her signature Dean while Midori is in drop D. Another of their many masterpieces. 🎹🎸🎤🤘🐺
Indeed they are, but what we are mostly hearing in the recording is a backing track. I suspect however that if you were standing in the middle of that crowd, you'd mostly be hearing the crowd around you singing along.
Japanese metal is on an incredible roll, especially the women, who are kicking ass on an epic scale. Another great band you should check out, if you haven’t already, is Bridear. Founded in 2011, they were in the second wave of all-female heavy-metal bands. They have the classic twin-lead attack and technical rhythm section. Their tiny bassist even growls at key moments. They’re scheduled to release their new album “Born Again” on June 28, and it’s a banger. The Metal Hammer review coming out compares them to Lovebites. They have gone through some changes but have always kept their hard, heavy, technical sound. They just posted a video single from the album: “Still Burning” th-cam.com/video/v7UOTBAtJh0/w-d-xo.html
There's a lot Asian musicians who started playing instruments or singing at young ages and put in tons of hours of practice, I can think of about ten off the top of my head, and Miyako is obviously one of them. Her technique is incredible in her relaxed wrists, consistent hand height, and left hand mastery. She won the genetic lottery, too. You pronounced Asami, Midori, and Miyako correctly. Also, I'm wondering what makes barbecue great? I'm hoping it's not some sort of ooze.
@@CoachCastTV A good Carolina sauce has always been my favorite, especially if it has some chili flakes in it to give it some kick. The vinegar offsets the rich fattiness of the meat perfectly. Kansas City sauces are typically too sweet for my taste. I also like a good Alabama white sauce; I make that stuff and mainly use it on chicken and pork.
Hi Coach (and Mrs Coach) i just saw them last week in a tiny tiny club in Milan (350 people more or less, probably less) the show was fantastic, the Ladies are incredible live, always smiling and engaging with the crowd (well, everyone except Miyako, but that was to be expected...although she smiled a few times toward the end 🙂). I was particularly impressed by HARUNA (the drummer), she is just unstoppable, doesn't even seems to struggle and i don't know how is that humanly possible considering how difficult are the drum parts. Anyway, some people complained about the smallness of these venues...yes, these are small clubs, probably it will be the same for the upcoming american tour in autumn...but been able to see them at so close range, literally 6 feet from were i was...honestly...it was just fantastic.
Since you did Judgement Day already I thought why not have you do Stand and Deliver (Shoot 'Em Down) also 2nd video released from the album but highest rated song at years end. th-cam.com/video/4ImGA7cPyrs/w-d-xo.html
Great reaction. Keep up your good work. Since you have reacted to Frozen serenade, you have to check out "Epilogue", IMHO one of the best ballads ever written, where Miyako plays beside piano and electric guitar, acoustic guitar too, Midori also play acoustic guitar.
Coach, who you foolin. You only know Chopin because Schroeder from the Peanuts cartoon played him. I am sure you thought "Cull Char" was the crusty stuff on the outside of a steak. But hey, I am right there with you.
Coach is at least cultured enough to be able to pronounce Chopin correctly, which is more that some other reactors have been able to do. LOL Alright Coach, you got Asami, Miyako and Midori's names correct. 👍👍 So, the drummer is Haruna. Original bass player , seen here , is Miho. You saw new bassist Fami in the "Judgement Day" video. The only thing "oozing" with LOVEBITES is their talent and skill on display. This is the 2020 concert at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo(Five of a Kind DVD). Suggest "Holy War" from this concert, a common LOVEBITES introduction song, you'll see why when you watch it.😁

Both versions can be found on LOVEBITES TH-cam channel!!!!! Miyako is continuously OOZING talent!!! Wish she could OOZE some of her talent on me!!!!! Can't wait to see what you find Lovebites OOZING next!!!!!
LOL...thanks for that info. She's unreal, and this whole band is truly amazing. They ooze greatness.
Lovebites oozes talent and class. They truly are the Metal Queens 👑. Miyako has stated that she is a piano player first. They have quite a few masterpiece songs, this being just one of them. I'm glad you caught the depth of the lyrics in this song.
We find it hard sometimes to even quantify in words just how impressed we are with them.
Thanks so much. We always appreciate the word of the day in the comments. 😁
So, to summarise, and in my opinion:
Miyako: Elite keyboardist and Elite Guitarist
Jorden: Elite keyboardist and Good Guitarist
Fascinating. Thanks for sharing.
LOL, indeed, we accept that gift gratefully. Thanks for the great comment!
LOVEBITES - Swan Song lyrics:
If this was the last day you could live on this earth
Would you still go on, accusing someone for today
It’s better to fail than not do anything at all
It is not the length, but depth of life that counts
Oh brave soldier
Oh gallant warrior
Valor to those who died in battle to Valhalla
Believe what’s in your soul
For death will come to all
You shall rest peacefully in God’s Heaven
Floating lotus
You are so graceful
Saintly and glorious
Till the end of time
Floating lotus
You are so beautiful
Sing me your sweet song
The legend of the swan
If you’ve never hoped, you’ve never been through despair
Ignorance is bliss, it’s easier to never care
You might think it’s meaningless to sacrifice a life
Sometimes the life of one can save so many more
Oh brave soldier
Oh gallant warrior
Valor to those who died in battle to Valhalla
Believe what’s in your soul
For death will come to all
You shall rest peacefully in God’s Heaven
Floating lotus
You are so graceful
Saintly and glorious
Till the end of time

Sing me your sweet song
The legend of the swan

Please note the first verse, last line is mis-quoted in the embedded captions on the video you watched. The correct words are
"It is not the length, but depth of life that counts"
("length" is correct, not 'worth')
@@whirled_peace Their lyrics really are impressive.
Miyako is a classically trained pianist from the age of 3. She is also extremely modest. There is a recent short video on YT of her playing in a bar in Valencia Spain with a group of guys. " Lovebites Miyako "I made some fellow musicians in Valencia" June 2024 " She told them she "can play guitar a little" Having seen her on stage in London recently I will confirm that "yes she can" 😄🐺
Haha, understatement of the century.
Great background and a very entertaining read. Thanks for taking time to leave all that info!
That's awesome you got to see them live.
I like M&M. Amazing Guitarist.
Impressive!
For “Swan Dong”, Miyako used elements of Chopin’s “Revolutionary Etude” and Dvorak’s “New World Symphony” 🤘🎹🔥🎸🔥
When did we hear such musical capabilities before ? Seems to be some time ago since effortless chord progressions and key changes, mastery of instruments, great voice and lyrics, marvellous stage presence, came to our ears and eyes in such emotional triggering package. . . and it's metal. . . !
Don't forget that Asami studied ballet for many years. They are multi-talented for sure.
Yes Miyako was Classically trained on Piano since age 3 and she taught herself Guitar around 19 or 20 and she can also play drums and bass the question remains what can't she play?
Incredible!
Awesome that you saw them live.
@@CoachCastTV Don't miss your chance if they come near you 😀
me too - my favorite album by them is an early one 'the morning after' . ' gonna find me a new love' , whammer jammer , etc. saw them in '71 in a big field at franklin pierce college in new hampshire. free concert.
Yes, Miyako is a concert level classical pianist, trained since 3 years old. Next suggestion “Empty daydream” or “Spellbound” (live), or “Raising” (acoustic live version, with only Asami and Miyako on piano)
Btw, this is Asami before Lovebites:
Where did you see them?
Miyako Magic! 🤘
Thanks!
I don't know what it is about that last piano part but it gets to me every time.
Yeah - it gives me the feels as well. A superbly constructed piece of music.
So wonderful to experience a band, all of whom have genuine talent, and masterfully play their instruments to combine into a seamless whole, with great vocals and very thought-provoking lyrics (Thanks for the subtitles)
Very impressed.
100% agree with everything you just said.
Etudes are actually practice pieces for the musician. In this case it is meant to train the left hand. Because the left hand is often neglected when playing the piano.
Great info!
Love Lovebites 🏴 🤘 🐺
This group has won many awards & honors. They dominated the charts in past years. They'll be inducted into Hall of fame if retires someday. We are so lucky they're from my country
Dominated? Huh. They've been on the Oricon charts for sure, but I wouldn't go all the way up to "dominated." I'd buy that if you were talking about B'z or maybe Babymetal. Also, what awards and honors have they won aside from the 2018 Golden God Award for Best New Band in the last year those awards were handed out?
Crowd participation songs: M.D.O. and Raise Some Hell
Guitar Solos that never end but amaze: Scream For Me
Whole different level of talent again: Frozen Serenade

Hi again you two, hope you are well 😊 Well, they are definitely oozing of sheer class but I've got to say I'm oozing with excitement and anticipation as I get to see them here in London next Monday 😊!! It's a small venue, only holding 600 but I'm sure they'll blow everyone away! Take good care of yourselves 😃 😊
That's so awesome that you're seeing them live! We hope you have a fantastic time!
@@CoachCastTV thanks for the reply and best wishes.
The amount of talent on stage here is indeed just staggering. They're truly amazing and indeed their lyrics are very strong and positive. Try frozen serenade next for something a little different from them though i'll guarantee you'll be stunned :-)
Yeah, that one is on the channel now and it was incredible.
so funny mrs coach asking mr coach if he knew who chopin was. he obviously did as he pronounced the name correctly as many fail to do when reacting to this video
Coach knows! 😁
when i hear people pronounce it "chop" pin.....i already know they have NO idea whats coming
Both of you your eyes are oozing wonderment while looking to this video of Lovebites. And yes; it's a great song, a wonderful blend of classic and metal with Miyako shining as the brightest star.
LOL...yeah, they have that effect on you, for sure.
This is great info, we appreciate the suggestions. And yeah, oozing class is absolutely acceptable AND recommended. LOL
New EP and also a Blu-ray will be released on August 28.
„LOVEBITES EP II“ will also contain a re-recording of the debut „LOVEBITES EP“ in a limited edition
„Memorial of the Warrior Souls“ is the recording of last years paid livestream which features 7 live versions from „Judgement Day“ album including „Soldier stands solitarily“
How many musicians on the planet could do what we just watched Miyako do?
Hardly any. Impressive!
Great reaction Mrs & Mr Coach!!
About Miyako ……. please watch this short:
th-cam.com/users/shortsqf8JKvic2-s
Miyako with Lovebites is touring in Europe these days. One evening she was walking alone and heard music coming from a small bar named “French Club”, I believe, in Cartagena (Spain). An all-male band was playing inside and they invited her to join asking which instrument she could play and she told them “I play guitar a little ….” Then, after watching how good she was able to play, one of the guy asked “what you mean a little?”🤣
“I play guitar a little ….” how much humble she is !!!!
Mr. and Mrs. Coach Miyako is Ooozing with talent. She is first and foremost a classically trained pianist then a guitarist which she taught herself how to play. Then she also plays the Bass and drums. And she is a good singer as well. She is amazing.
No argument here!
ooze along to the next song you guys.. BURDEN OF TIME - Studio Live is a banger, and you get to see our favorite pianist playing piano and guitar at the same time.. Oozing with talent this band..
No doubt. They're loaded.
YOU HAVE TO KNOW BY NOW THIS BAND IS TOP TIER .....ONE OF THE BEST AROUND IN THE WORLD
Well they are currently touring Europe and setting it on fire with their LIVE performances.
They're truly awe-inspiring. The quality of music they are putting out is at a level rarely matched. Thanks so much for the great comment.
Small fires considering the crowd sizes, but fires nonetheless.
@@PaleHorseShabuShabu That is why they had to tour again outside Japan. They need to re-expose metal-heads and music lovers everywhere to their insane talent. The sparks are small but this is about to explode and the Wolfpack will soon be overrun with many new members!!!!

That's incredible. And the comments today have been super informative. Thank you!

Tips. The audience is singing too.
Indeed they are, but what we are mostly hearing in the recording is a backing track. I suspect however that if you were standing in the middle of that crowd, you'd mostly be hearing the crowd around you singing along.
@@1970Phoenix What do you think of this video? I think there's a lot of audience feedback in it. th-cam.com/video/bK21cuI-V7c/w-d-xo.html
Masterpiece.
Haven't heard of them yet, at least not that we can recall. Thanks for the suggestion!
@@CoachCastTV most welcome!
Hey team ‼️ another great reaction ⭐️ i’m beginning to realize that Coach and I have the same sense of humor. Should I be worried??😂?
Yes...very much so. 😂
Good to know the pronunciations were correct. A good BBQ is the Carolina BBQ using vinegar in the recipe. It oozes flavor! LOL
That sounds great as well. We love a spicy touch to the sauce as well.
Cool hat.
Thanks!
While they are talented enough to sell out stadiums, the small venues definitely have a different feel. We hope their tour is wildly successful.
