@Gary L Since the moment he finished work probably? People get issued all kinds of stuff in the military, a lot of it they're not allowed to take home with them.
I don't think that one guy who was arrested for making a false report made a false report. My theory is that he did see the creature shot it and got those samples he turned over and when it was analyzed it came back as something they(government) doesn't want us to know so they covered it up. They arrested that guy threatened him told him that if he didn't suddenly have a "change of heart" and say he made it up they were going to hurt him and his family. Similar to what the men in black are said to do.
It's not unusual. The man who reported the crashed Roswell UFO to the military was suddenly arrested after the clean up. He was held in custody for a week and when he was released he suddenly had an extra $50,000 in his bank account...

@Gary L IDK but there is a part of the human brain nicknamed the reptilian brain. It is composed of the basal ganglia (striatum) and brainstem, is involved with primitive drives related to thirst, hunger, sexuality, and territoriality, as well as habits and procedural memory (like putting your keys in the same place every day without thinking about it or riding a bike). Also, a Platypus lays eggs.
Kenneth Orr claims to have shot and injured it, provided samples and then gets charged w illegal firearm possession and changes his entire story....It could certainly be true but it also could be true that he was 'encouraged' to change his story. It'd be far from the first time

The airmen stating he fabricated it does not compromise the integrity of these incidents. If in fact he did encounter it, what stopping the government from coming in and forcing him to stay quiet? Yea there’s a chance he did it for attention however seeing as he is a military man (with more integrity) and that the government wants to control these incidents to stop hysteria I would put my money on the latter option

I've heard tell of a possible encounter in the Ohio River near Evansville, Indiana. On August 14, 1955, a clawed hand grabbed a woman by the leg and pulled her under the water a few times before letting go. No visual contact. In 1973, some residents of New Jersey’s Newton-Lafayette area saw a Gator Man.
Guess I missed the part where Christopher Davis, the witness who stopped along the highway, described the creature that pounced on his car as "humanoid." Didn't even necessarily say it was upright, or even bipedal. In the event it WAS, and given those tracks left, the most logical explanation is that it is a remnant dinosaur species in its natural nocturnal habitat. A reptile who developed an aversion to autos and attacks them on sight, leaving them scarred up. Maybe the beast was injured once by a car and learned a hard lesson. If the eyes looked red when behind the car, it was because they were huge and wet, reflecting the car's taillamps. Just being rational here.
I feel like a dinosaur wouldn’t be the most logical explanation. The dinosaurs that would fit in that size range would most likely be feathered and were extremely birdlike in terms of the way they moved and acted. As well as the witness said it was humanoid but didn’t describe things I would expect with a dinosaur, such as a longer neck and leaned forward body. What I would suggest instead is that they saw an escaped pet monitor lizard. Some that are popular pets (such as the Asian water monitor) can grow up to 7 feet and rear up on their hind legs as a threat display. To me that would line up more with the way the sightings are described, but idk, it could be aliens for all we know lol
The tracks that aren't normal makes me think of scenes from "Them!" and "The Deadly Mantis". Thanks for a story I have neither read nor heard about before.
I think attributing iguanas and alligators to misidentifications is a stretch. People don’t go into utter shock when seeing these daily common easy to recognize animals. I can’t see an alligator jumping on the hood of the mans car. The claw marks on these vehicles sound like they are more significant than even an alligator could pull off. The police got a good sighting of the Loveland frog men and they were holding some device with a glowing light. They were adamant these things were standing on two legs. I’ve heard of numerous sightings in which the visual was really good and they people would had to have on LSD to have mistaken these reptilians for an iguana. Lizard men have been spotted in the LA California area since at least the 1800’s. Numerous women are on line claiming to be abducted and “ being” with these creatures much like the movie “ Shape of Water” and the creature from the black lagoon . I’ve read accounts of people suddenly walking up on these creatures on the Ms. river and the Ohio and police seeing them in abandoned mines in the American South West. American Indians firmly believe in the snake men who are said to have a ravenous desire for human flesh. Both for food and pleasure. In fact ( time won’t allow it) but almost ever culture on earth have stories of winged reptile men and reptilians coming from underground and the stars. Just to much to dismiss out of hand. I believe they’re real and dearly hope to never ever encounter one.
Seeing as how an iguana was mistaken for one, I don't think it's a stretch. Also, commonly seen animals will still trigger a "fight or flight" response when encountered if they are dangerous (bears, gators, snakes, cougars, etc). Once that response starts, the brain becomes focused solely on survival, not other brain functions like logic, formation of memory, or recognition. Misidentification, false memories, and even missing time are completely understandable, and indeed expected, in such cases.
Good info. Didn’t know they were seen in abandoned mines or in the 1800s there were reports but they absolutely have a Desiree for human flesh . All these serpent “ gods “ demanded blood in the ancient days
Just amazing guys, I’ve followed y’all from 300k and the videos get better and better. I’m so happy that y’all have accomplished something like this and I can’t wait for the next episode.
From what I heard, reptilian humanoids have been sighted all over the world. Depending on the eyewitnesses, they can look like lizards, snakes, crocodiles, or even dinosaurs. Some sightings have also been reported with UFO sightings.
Love listening to these while camping.just back from a treck n camp trip down the beutiful Ayrshire coast in Scotland.a lot of good history, scenery n folklore here.
Wolves and deer are both capable of walking on two legs. They just have very little reason to do so. But any wolf--or even dog for that matter, could be walking around on their two hind legs 100% of the time if they wanted to. Deer, and prolly all cervids like them, can do so as well. Humans who have high-enough arched-feet, can run around on all fours. The first time I saw a wolf that had been rescued by a Cherokee man I used to know--that the loss of its front paw-pads motivated it to walk around on just two legs, I almost shit my pants.

I live approximately 90 minutes' drive east of Bishopville, SC. I've never heard of this story until today. Scape Ore Swamp is 250 square kilometers and stretches diagonally across the entirety of Lee County. The likelihood of a sighting of a single cryptid in that much wilderness is highly unlikely.

Similar to what the men in black are said to do.
makes too much sense
It's not unusual. The man who reported the crashed Roswell UFO to the military was suddenly arrested after the clean up. He was held in custody for a week and when he was released he suddenly had an extra $50,000 in his bank account...
@@jessicabarczewski1910i gotta witness something like that then i can use an extra 50k
I am sure you're probably right if the government wants you dead you're dead
It doesn’t make sense that multiple people who have nothing in common are all mistaking it for regular animals. Animals they’ve been raised around. And how convenient physical evidence always seems to be ‘lost’... great episode as always!! 🖤💜🖤
Cover ups to prevent panic
Almost like that evidence never existed in the first place
Why is it with all these cryptids only one is ever seen? For any creature to evolve it has to be part of a species, not just some random creature that appears out of thin air
15:25 The details on those scales... absolutely incredible work.
Makes me wonder how many people have seen this creature and will never tell anyone, or just a few trusted friends of their sightings.
Holy cow I thought your channel name looked familiar, I found your channel years ago researching the searl effect generator, havn't seen you since. How's that generator coming along btw? I'm genuinely curious.
As a longtime fan from South Carolina, never though I'd see a video on South Carolina on this channel! Lots of weird things in our little corner of the US.
I thank Bedtime Stories for doing what you'll do. Try going through a divorce while the Coronavirus is happening. I need all the sleep I can get and Bedtime Stories has helped my life out more than what I can put into words! From America, much respect!
I've been having a really rough time here on my end, but I can only imagine the stress you are going through. I wish you well, brotha. Stay strong and know I'm cheering for you to get through this and move forward.
Great artwork and narration. As William Shakespeare wrote in Hamlet, “ There are more thing in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.”
If one looks long enough, there is no telling what will be seen.
The Creature of the Black Lagoon...was just a movie right? OR WAS IT?!
No he's my brother in-law and he is getting tired of all the publizate.
No it was based on a true story from the 20s.
Less "Gill-Man" and more "Sleestak" to me
It was based off a woman in Indiana being attacked in the Ohio River.
What about Louisiana’s Honey Island Swamp Monster, a half-alligator, half-chimpanzee cousin of Bigfoot
You’re username is great but that title belongs to me

@Gary L IDK but there is a part of the human brain nicknamed the reptilian brain. It is composed of the basal ganglia (striatum) and brainstem, is involved with primitive drives related to thirst, hunger, sexuality, and territoriality, as well as habits and procedural memory (like putting your keys in the same place every day without thinking about it or riding a bike). Also, a Platypus lays eggs.
Half gator half monkey......Someone’s great grandparents had too much moonshine Or enjoyed Mardi Gras a bit too much ......
That's Freaky!
Kenneth Orr claims to have shot and injured it, provided samples and then gets charged w illegal firearm possession and changes his entire story....It could certainly be true but it also could be true that he was 'encouraged' to change his story. It'd be far from the first time
Thank you for all your hard work 8n bringing us these great tellings and beautiful pieces of art.
It is really appreciated.
Thank you for making this! I grew up in upstate SC and remember when the Lizard Man was first reported. I’ve always thought it’d make a great film
Goddamn, the artwork just gets better and better with each episode.
One of my favorite channels; the added drawings is a great touch.
Much love you guys ✌🏻😄
I have always liked the animation and the sound effects. That said ,they have gotten so much better . The way up guys tie it all together is nothing short of genius. Great work , and thank u for all u guys do.
Not being funny, but im not one for choosing a holiday location based on what freaky beasts have been terrorising people and eating cars 😂 another great vid/story. Cheers
I do believe I've watched almost every video you guys have put out. Some of them even twice. Good stuff. You put a lot of heart into you work
I used to live right near there in SC, I used to hike in the swamp regularly and it's definitely a creepy place. Ps, if you are ever in Bishopville and you want to hear some good Lizardman stories talk to the old timer who runs the cotton museum.
It's really difficult to imagine possible reasons why an iguana, gator, coyote, or bear would maul a car. It just makes zero sense!
If you know an iguana that can 1v1 a cow I'd love to meet him
Bears do, there are videos of it on youtube.
You know what else doesn't make sense? Applying human logic to animal behavior.
Skeptics often come up with mundane and untrue explanations to cover up the supernatural phenomena experienced by witnesses, possibly being paid by the government to do so.
@@rastiga9196exactly I was gonna say... I know people where I live that have had both bears (black and grizzly) and also bighorn rams attack their vehicles/campers.
Bears do it because they can smell any food or trash inside, rams are just a bit "special"

One of my all time favorite stories. Well told - love the graphics!
That's interesting. I actually live just 20 minutes north of Evansville. All we ever hear about is the grey lady that allegedly haunts Willard Library
They featured that on a show I saw quite awhile ago.
Lizard Man: Sleestak
New Jersey Gator Man: Leatherhead
Bed time stories needs to do a story covering the evil hockamock swamp.... truly terrifying
It says something about how daft this story is that "it's probably a remnant Utahraptor" constitutes "being rational here." :)
Didn't Christopher Davis die mysteriously two years after this encounter
Mikey Turcanu and Christian Gaitan's artwork is absolutely stunning
Total respect for the brilliant Bedtime Stories team- well done 🏆💯 Richard is an absolutely awesome narrator 💯👏

Your guy's videos have the absolute highest rewatchability factor I've ever seen

Seem we have lizard men all over the swampy areas of United States as stories tell! Great story,Keep them coming!
Yes in Washington DC also
From what I heard, reptilian humanoids have been sighted all over the world.
Misread the title as "Eeyore's Swamp", then had a good laugh as I imagined Eeyore as an infamous cryptid.
The cars boot and tyre and torch and wing mirror. I dont suppose a person from Carolina wrote this. I actually love it when I get to learn what things are called on the other side of the pond. We're not much different in the grand scheme of things. We just say different words and stuff.
Once again another outstanding installment. Love the channel. Always look forward to your next episode.
When I was in the Air Force, I was stationed at Shaw AFB in Sumter. I was a weather forecaster and we would work 12 hour shifts. There were times after I got off work I would go for long drives on the rural roads, mainly just to clear my head, especially if it was a stressful shift. I never knew about this creature.... if I had known, there’s no way I would have driven down those country roads! Bloody Hell!

I think most people believe these sightings are from crazies. Plenty of reputable, respectable people have witnessed things they could not explain.
I cant explain a lot of things. I don't jump to the conclusion that ET, Bigfoot, or the MIB is the reason tho. Too many people jump to the most absurd explanations.
