Hi Rodney, I did make a small change to this game. The Mechs are all grey if you did not paint them. So I took 8 pcs. of plastic key caps in the 4 colors in the game, 2 pcs each, and made a cut so it was possible to put them on to the round foot stands of the Mechs. So now everyone can see wich Mech belongs to what player, by their color. It works really nice. Thanks again for a superb work on explaining yet another board game. I do recomend your web site to everyone thats interested in board games. Bought this game as well. 😊

I love mechs and samurai in my games and this seems a simple game that I can easily play with my friend's kid that he would also enjoy. I will definitely be looking for this one especially as I recently saw it at half price online. As always thank you for an informative well paced video with great visual representation of all elements.

Man, I love those mechs, but I'd have to set little tokens on their bases them to easily track which one belongs to who. Even in this video they get a little jumbled, but it was still very insightful. I look forward to trying this one day :)

On a side note, I like videos like this much more than reviews because it gives me an objective view of the game instead of someone's personal opinion. I have a question regarding free actions. You can do as many as you want on your turn, but does that also mean you can do the same one multiple times? Example, could I add wealth tokens on every ship I have in play, or just one?

In the Player Turns Phase, each player takes "turns" performing a "single" order (you don't perform all 4 orders at once). So, with each order, you can play a card. Hope that helps!
if you have multiple sets, do you get addition honor points? ex. you have a set of 4, you get +9 points. if you have another set, do you get the bonus points from that set too?

2. We played this game again tonight after a long hiatus, but it was our first play at 2 players. It went for six rounds, and felt incredibly long at 2.5 hours. Was this right? The 3 player game is only 3 rounds, and feels perfect.
The claiming location rewards thing throws me off. So if the active player begins their turn, they gain the reward for having the most power in the beginning and if they win that location they get the reward again at the battle phase? I feel like the beginning location reward is skippable. If everybody skips it, it wouldn't make a difference.
It wouldn't make a difference if nothing changes, but between the time the player first gains the reward (during the Player Turns Phase), and the end of the battle resolution, they may no longer have control of that location. So that's the difference between earning the reward twice, or earning it only once and someone else earning it, for example. Also, earning the rewards changes what you might be able to do during your turn, so again, that changes the outcome of several things really. It all influences and changes the game in some way. Now all this said, I'm not the game's designer, so it's not really an area where I can speak with authority, or would try to convince you of anything - it's something more to ask them.
Looks like an interesting game, but I see no value whatsoever in having mini's in this game other than cool factor. The mechs actually look too big for the spaces which to me detract from the actual game.
Watch It Played your videos are great, just a suggestion, can you cover all the components for a few mins in the videos, especially for games with miniatures.

I imagine I could fashion some kind of removable coloured base like in Flash Point Fire Rescue, but that's a project for the future anyway.

You can do the same free action multiple times, so you could add wealth tokens to multiple ships.

You could certainly do that. If they have effects that trigger when they move, this would mean that those effects would trigger each time as well.
Is a "turn" each order, or is a "turn" considered the entirety of the 4 actions? Because that determines how many cards you can play.
Basically can I play a card with each order? Or just once until battle phase.
