I have the same problem. I think replacing fuse will not help for a long time. I had this problem 2 years ago, and it just started to happen again. How did you realize that the problem is with the fuse?
Hi everyone the fuse people are on about is actually a relay that is inside the engine bay where the ecu is located up by passenger side windscreen under black cover then there is a white box it is in there a main dealer part just brought one today at £12
I don't currently own a bmw but did a e46 is there many issues with them these days ? That was your issue the relay ? Cheap fox then . Heard the n47 engines are problematic with timing chains (think i git it right lol)
yes it is a problem with the electrics.... under the hood on the left side of the filter cabins have heat modem little blue fuse number 42E if you replace it will be ok

I have the same problem. I had a little accident with my car. after a few days it was just cranck but not start, I changed the blue relay. I did a diagnostic and it showed there is no connection with DDE but it is completely new and there is no trace of water. I thought it was with the battery but all cables have electricity around the battery. What could be the problem?
Because I was in a few mechanic..,,and everyone says something different ..,first it was the starter I replaced after was the same issue second mechanic said is glow plugs I replaced a third said the injections are I checked but still was same problem and then I gave my car to the guy who is doing 3D electrical system and he found the problem ...:)..it was a fuse....

If you put in a used ECU OR A ECM do need to have it reprogram or should it start the car up with out the reprogram
