A while ago I was still trying to understand the POV of Ubisoft Abu Dhabi and even thought they weren't THAT terrible, but I was clearly wrong. They were completely quiet for a whole year without delivering a single interesting feature to the game. Not only that, but they basically cancelled and destroyed one of the most waited updates of the year (if harvest, summer and valentines aren't included). PAW's idea was always to bring simple features to the game that don't break, but improve the user experience that the players of the game can decide on. What ubisoft did is the exact opposite. They delivered a normal update to the game (that literally affects the gameplay in a very negative manner) under PAW event's name that nobody ever asked for and then cancelled the whole event for laziness or whatever was the reason behind it. I have very high doubts this "big feature" they are about to add will actually be something BIG due to it most likely functioning fully in the server side adding nothing visually interesting. If I'm wrong, they are doing some REAL work on keeping this feature hidden (which would be quite hard due to how GT works behind the scenes). If a literal developement team at Ubisoft Abu Dhabi can not deliver a few minor features every day to the game that are literally made up by the players, what else can we expect from them? The whole game studio is a running joke. All these excuses just to not have to add anything to the game. What a shameful direction this game is going to.

Worst thing right now is that certain playerbase cant even access the game, countless errors that have been going on for almost half a year have not been fixed, i have found many people having similar issue. Its some type of shadowban to your ip or network, since with other wifi-s in another location you are able to log in.
I've more or less quit GT until they add new blocks that affect gameplay. It's been like 6 years since the last item that majorly affected building - the thing the game is supposedly about.

What my suggestion would be adding more roles and increasing the cap and adding new rings in carnival perhaps a new quest in carnival other than ring quest or maybe even a new event that comes monthly like carnival there is tons of suggestions but ubisoft have zero understanding to what players truly want pve content was the closest they were but sadly that was cancelled

It truly was. I think no matter how great the feature is, related to PAW or not, they still could have invested time into items and features. Even just a bit of them. Perhaps it's a time management issue that they had to invest *all* their time into the *one* feature which could either be a success or a flop. Knowing there's a feature this huge planned for PAW, they could have prepared for it way earlier into the development, so that they could fit more into one rather than betting on literally just one.
It is extremely heartbreaking as a player who just hit the 11 years mark. A game that stayed in your life for over a decade now reduced to nothing more than something that just triggers you. Server problems unaddressed, bot problems unaddressed, and now with this update of maladies that now inflict debuffs on you is just piling up on the problems they will NEVER answer, because people are still doing in game purchases. I wish for the day that this game shuts down for good.
SIgh... After the end of this month's guild clash, I have became very inactive due to school, and a general distaste of the game. But... seeing how this PAW went, I'm actually thinking of calling it quits soon. This could've been prevented, but no, no and no. PAW is the only thing where OUR feedback and suggestions are heard. And this is absolutely wrong by itself, but the fact that this year's PAW was even beyond disappointing is something we should not ignore... We have to do something about this, otherwise... Who knows what next year's would be like?
They should update old things like guild system, startopia, pet and card battle and something like that Probably they're working on something that will stabilize the game economy(at least I hope)
Id still say that last years paw was worse. It made growtopia almost unplayable on android mobile devices atleast (I'm not sure about apple users). Paw23 bugs are just so bad and forces you to restart growtopia often. Also the bugs haven't been fixed for over year now.
Please speak up on behalf of us about how bad the botting and connection errors is its multi-million tax-free company im damn sure they can do something about it but they won't

I will not play or give growtopia money until the servers are fixed. These people call “appreciation” making the vending machine double priced with no benefit to the player. This game has had a major fall from grace. Or the “Ubisoft abandonment strategy”
I feel like Ubisoft has continually been more transparent and indirect with this game’s player base over the years. GT feels the same as it was a few years ago in terms of quality and the general feel. The same loop of features and activities that don’t feel very fulfilling at the end. I’m so glad my account was hacked back in may, so I can finally be free from this game’s addictive nature. I’ve genuinely been trying to improve my life socially and spiritually ever since that more than I ever had before. GT was one of the main reasons I couldn’t escape the “chronically online loser” lifestyle and be more optimistic and happy with myself. Sorry I got carried away😅. But in conclusion, thanks to everyone in-game that I’ve met and made memories with. I think it’s time to give this game a rest, for my own sake. God loves y’all 🙏
Not to mention the trade scan feature isnt useful at all majority of the items over that average a few dls or more none of them work cuz they arent traded enough to get enough data points in the right sst period of time to get a accurate average price for that time so they never work unless they use old trade to get the data but then the info would be outdated anyway so useless feature
The community suggestion is definitely a nice change. But why even take out PAW and empty it? Seems like it's just an excuse to save up their budgets. It's really irrelevant for them to do so, and basically stripped us out of something we deserved. We only get repetitive annual events this year and most of which are just gachas.
Having to implement, apply and filter feedbacks is already their JOB. I have been playing GT and devoted my partial life to it for 10 years, and might just go for quits. No developer appreciation then why bother on still pushing through.

This is largely the reason why this is needed, a more transparent system of doing things. We're always left with uncertainty of whether our feedback gets added. Now, thanks to the proposals of the community managers, we're practically adding the much needed pressure we need to put on the developers for our feedback to be heard. Regarding the budget, it is quite the contrary, it increases the potential incorporated player feedback into the game by pushing the cycle on a tri-annual/bi-annual basis rather than on an annual basis, which means they'd have to invest more time and effort if they truly do care about player feedback. The failure of this system can only be determined if the developers themselves do not follow through an implementation scheme that incorporates feedback more than once a year, especially with Thanatos mentioning that it allows our feedback to be incorporated directly "year-round". Again though, all these are still on paper currently, and we can only hope for it to actually change the faulty and vague system of processing feedback.
