It was that time of year again - the most anticipated annual event in Growtopia. The event where players are quote-on-quote “appreciated”. Items, blocks, features, rebalances, quality of life changes, you name it, they add it. However, there seemed to be a problem with this year’s PAW. Something went wrong. Here's my honest review of this year's Player Appreciation Week update.

Adding more world locks into circulation is the dumbest idea ubisoft have ever came up with, also, this has been one off the least exciting PAWs in my opinion.
Yes... It's dumb idea to add World Locks to gem packs, but I like that they added more gems to it.

i love ur videos
2 big issues that i honestly see is the phat inflation and the severe amount of bot advertisers and bot farmers (i keep discovering worlds that literally have dummy accounts farming pepper trees over and over again).
can you make a video regarding the topic of how the game is easily hackable? i found carnival win hacks, ignore lava block hacks, and literal screen wrapping hacks (an account wraps to the other side of the map which is insane), like even people blatantly advertise their scripts for sale with the bot accounts.

The 5th day is more like Ubisoft Appreciation Day (UAD). Decreasing ways the legally obtain gems? Now all you can do to gems is, either buying them from store for IRL MONEY or buying them from BUYGEM which is risky considering the scams going on.

I think only the reason why this paw felt underwhelming is because most of the changes are QoL stuff which aren't as immediate as UI changes and other things.

your videos are interesting but the duration is too long and slow paced for me, i had to watch your video in 1.75x speed.
What about making the game more begginer friendly?
the only way for now is using scripts or literally begging for atleast one world lock to get a small amount of farmable seeds or blocks

It would never be a beginner friendly since the entire situation and economy of GT depends on the player. The way gt economy is working right now isn't improving since more players are getting more greedier and greedier. Means everything would be very expensive and aggressive inflation. It is in fact unplayable for newbies.

Buying billboards are so stupid, Like how tf am i supposed to advertise me buying something that i don't have? The concept of buying billboards isn't bad but since you can't sellect items that you don't have it kinda destroys the purpose.
They are still slightly helpful imo, but this oversight should still be addressed imo
