I would like to see a session on WTF Stock Market.
So many young people have wrong expectations of stock market returns.
Nikhil and Nitin being masters in this game, they should guide with do'es, don'ts and tools.
As usual, I love Nikhil's questions, calmness and curiosity
and also WTF Trading.
Couldn't agree more on both these topics
Yes
true that!
wow ... absolutely
2.5 hours == 2 years of business education + 1.01 crores committed to helpful cause - And all this comes for financially no cost to the viewers, just there dedication and curiosity. Love it!
One of the most important lesson that i learnt from this Podcast is that Successful People are damn good listeners 💯
When one person is speaking then there's a pin drop silence in the whole room
Just wow 💯
One more you missed : they also don't spent 2 hours listening to someone else rather do something even its a failures.
Best podcast channel on Indian TH-cam right now. Thank you for starting this.

As someone from Pakistan. Loved this. We’re still too far to catch up with the tech revolution in India and startup scene. But this is such an insight to learn from people who’ve done that in relatively near to similar conditions if not exactly similar conditions. Loved that. To everyone striving to succeed from both parts of the country, my prayers are with you. And Nikhil, keep going man.
Well said man 🙏
The base voice of Rajan and the way he's articulating his lines is just elite.......Class man!
That's the American accent.
Honestly I'm in awe of Nikhil.
If i would take up a course of a lakh it would be Nikhils.
There's a charm he has and that's impeccable. His voice is promising and I would love if he takes sessions and the world will know what actually money making and finance. Those content creators who teach FINANCE without knowing anything must learn.
And his well articulated questions
ghum phir ke course pe kyu aa jaate ho. Self learn is the best teacher
Why TF u want a course anyway
I guess he is well spoken and raises same questions that arises in our mind and accept the answers only he is completely satisfied. That's why we relate to him and find amusing
eww no courses pls
16 minutes into it and starting to realize how much I love this channel.
2.5 hours of pure gold. This podcast is BEAUTIFUL. The panel with such diverse experience is mesmerizing to listen to. Its better than my 2 years of MBA at a tier 2 college.
I have no words to describe how powerful the podcast is. Thanks to Nikhil for delivering such premium content. It's very hard to believe that something like this is available on TH-cam for free. This is a real gem. Pls keep up the good work, and all the best.
I really liked Nikhil's style of interviewing. Why? I think for the first time I saw VC being so open when having conversation, hats off to all the three VCs to open up and share their insights...to end my comment in a fun note, the two VCs finally folded their hands...bus bhai nikhil we surrender...😅
Karthik reddy has a great journey to share,,his articulation & clarity is amazing, hopefully we can hv a solo podcast with him by nikhil or by any other podcast host
I just need to comment: Thank you Nikhil for this podcast. No matter what you do, please don't stop making more episodes. I hope you enjoy these and will continue to enjoy making these
This is the only podcast channel I watch without speeding it up to 1.5x. 👍 It's a plethora of knowledge all in one place. 🧠💡
Thanks Nikhil for sharing!
This podcast is better than any 2 year MBA. Learn from the experts and delve in their experience that is global in nature but have localized that to be successful in Indian companies.

This is pure gold. I really like this new trend where phenomenal entrepreneurs are using their personal network to democratize such great insights which historically only a handful of folks have had access to. First, it was Shantanu from BSC, and now Nikhil.
This channel is the best TH-cam channel in the Indian scene right now
Nikhil is most seless business...he gives so much information to his viewers. This podcast is reading a management book
He is building a distribution here
Some notes I took (nothing related to the technicalities of What is a VC/PE/Angel/Seed and several other terms which are very well covered in the podcast)
After a very traumatic event, you become either hateful or grateful.
You can’t teach the drive the hunger.
People who come from nothing and have a point to prove, they generally tend to be the ones that … (make it big)
Middle class but great education, supportive parents - a way to judge the winning selection
Nikhil takes up topic: Does hardwork really matter even today?
Nithin: Zerodha started in 2010, all our success came in 2016 - So today of course we can have all the 5 days a week but it took them 6 years of excruciating work
Nikhil goes on to add: I lived in my office for 6 years, like literally lived there, my bedroom was my cabin
Thanks folks and Nikhil / Nikhil's team, please keep these coming.

This right here is gold. The amount of knowledge I got from just watching 2 and a half hours of this podcast is insane. Please keep doing such episodes Nikhil.
Usually, stock market traders are not calm when they talk or do things (even other than trading). Trading makes them restless. It's surprising to see Nikhil, being so calm and composed in his conversations
He is not a intraday guy !!
Traders r calm, If u have seen restless trader they might be crypto trading
Yup inequality is not because of the system but because of human nature, and has always been like this.
💯💯
human nature, yes. but there are systems that force inequality (hierarchical systems which are too reductionistic), and those which force equality (like agile start-up environments).
@@Nishandh_Mayiladan you can say that for any system, capitalist system, communist system, democratic system, caste system etc....
Why system is like this because human nature was always like that due to pure biological/ survival needs.
I'm just blown by the fact of nikhil's knowledge at the age he is and not just about market about any other sector and his thriving nature to learn something new just shows how adaptive he is and surely the future fortune of country
Really loved your ability to ask questions to bring out the clarity. Already the guests are extremely eloquent, but still extracting clarity from their responses by the virtue of simple questions is a great superpower to have .
The most valuable You Tube series out there today for Indians. Every time I see it, I feel very thankful to Nikhil for doing this. BIG BIG thanks!
18:39 I like to add a quote here -“Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times.” - Michael Hopf , it's a cycle and history always teaches this one lesson repeatedly !!
It's like a masterclass to listen to these high quality minds every week and with the curiosity which Nikhil brings to the table is truly phenomenal. Kudos to Mr.Kamath! 🎉
I was and am still clueless about the VC.. but the last 30 secs of this podcast was truly amazing..we got introduced to the 'inner child' of these dignified speakers and of course that genuine smile on their faces made my day already!! Guess only when you have a pure intent+ sheer passion+ commitment to your identity + direction from the universe + hunger for knowledge & exploring human side of the business you can produce a TRULY perdurable content like this. Kudos to this fantastic team. Lots of love & respect. God bless.
Amazing vid as always Nikhil!
One small suggestion I have is while choosing the charities, don't make the guest say out the amount to be donated. Just combine the total amount (for eg 25+10+25) and in the community post say that we are jointly going to donate 60L to XYZ charity. Everyone has a different background and may also be already be engaged in other philanthropic endeavors.
yeah agree, It may not be appropriate to put them in lime light and ask to spell out the amount :D
Agreed. Please dont make them commit the amount.
Liking it without seeing, I know it'll be a great podcast!
Been a big fan of Nithin Kamath, but Nikhil Kamath is arguably the best Podcaster I've watched! Cheers 🎉🎉🎉

I've heard a lot about VC before, but this episode truly simplified everything. It actually explained how, who, and why VCs decide to fund certain startups.
Nikhil Kamath, you are amazing moderator!
One burning question though: you dropped out of school, yet you have knowledge on EVERYTHING! How do you manage to stay so informed across so many topics? Any wisdom to share on your personal knowledge-building routine?
You are inspiration to many for every age age group, Your answer on the question can help everyone to excel in their life.
I am an average IT employee and a kid when it comes to knowledge on entrepreneurship and investments. But I am trying to learn through these podcasts. Some topics goes above my head but some do stay.
Nikhil makes more sense than everyone else. His insights on capitalism and income inequality are absolutely fascinating
nikhil i dont know how to much grateful everyone is to listen to insights of all the guests and yourself. It gives direction to many. There are literally several parts where you express your thoughts on human virtues, you really express them well. It is really nice to listen to you. Thanks once again.
I have been listen to these WFT of yours for hours now. Watched 2 today (Saturday, so its an off for me) and that means around 5 hours of listening. These 5 hours have really opened my brain up and changed the outlook for me on Global economy and business side of the human existence. In other words, how money works on a larger scale.
This is a great way to learn many things for a budding entrepreneur in his initial years. I wish it was there when I was in college completing my BBA. I am currently working in a U.K based Asset Management Company.
1:10:17 - great to know Nikhil also likes saving 5%
Very useful. I have started developing so much respect for Nikhil's way of conducting this.
Ive worked in a VC for a year, this is gold mine of knowledge. 100% correct and crucial to understanding how this asset class works.
As Nithin mentioned - most of the discussions happened here are not available on internet, I have watched multiple VC interviews nobody is dared to ask such direct or core queries. Super amazing podcast and really useful for all startups in the nation. Hatsoff to you Nithin and offcourse I really liked your authentic nature.
I just had to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible podcasts you've been hosting. such a diverse range of guests and facilitate engaging conversations is truly remarkable It's not just entertainment it's a source of education and inspiration. The group discussions you curate are exciting, and I find myself eagerly anticipating each new episode.
Keep up the fantastic work, and please know that your efforts are deeply appreciated.
Such great Insights and so much value add. Unfortunately hardly any views or comments to people who create business, employment and livelihood for hundreds if not thousands of people. Honestly you entrepreneurs have to be celebrated in this country and not those celebrities, who entertain for 3 hours and then its forgotten. Salute

As an early 20's youth, I just love listening to such amazing people , accomplished so much and just the amount of attention to detail, I'm from Pakistan, do write on Indian startups and

Can not thank you enough for this, as an entrepreneurial engineering student who was attracted by the notion of working in a VC fund, I wanted to measure the waters of the prospect and the industry. This was a great coincidence that you picked up this topic. To that add the value your guests deliver, so thankful for this.

Karthik is the most brilliant man in Indian Vc space. I personally met him and his knowledge and composure is incredible. Kudos to NIKHIL to bring him here and giving him a rightful place on a vc podcast! U cannot have Indian vc without men like karthik who didn’t even have any legacy names
To the point Nikhil mentioned about capitalism, I feel every nation should have their own perspective on capitalism, if they don't then it's sad. I believe Bharat has a unique perspective on it. Remember, Chanakya, he was a master strategist and a king maker, wrote ArthaShastra - Knowledge and wisdom on making and managing Money. Btw, we divided money in to 8 parts and also created a devotional hymns and named it Ashtalakshmi.
I think Nikhil should next interview Radhakrishnan Pillai and others experts who have digested Chanakya's work across Education, Politics, Philosophy, Environment, Nation building and Business
I am truly amazed by the profound impact of this podcast. My gratitude to Nikhil for consistently delivering top-notch content. It's almost surreal that such high-quality material is accessible on TH-cam without any cost. This podcast is undoubtedly a hidden gem. Please continue the excellent work. Nikhil, Thanks for bringing such amazing individuals from the industry. I have just one request though, sometimes its better to let the other panelists complete their arguments instead of interrupting them with doubts/questions. We're missing on great points because of that.
This is fantastic; Nikhil's questions represent an average individual trying to understand the basics of the systems built around us for decades and the future. A great learning experience in total.

Hey Nikhil,
I really love what you do. Thank you!
I'd recommend not revealing how much each person is willing to commit to charity, but only reveal the total to audience. While this strategy might receive lesser money, panellists are more likely to leave with a sweeter aftertaste.
Having a 2 hour podcast and still have such a strong eyeball hold in this outstanding format in truly amazing. I have an input if it can be given a thought. We should have a 8-10 min focus session by industry leaders to come up with inputs on things not to do when you are scaling the business. The Eg of Air India was truly amazing at end of the podcast if every-time we can pick a large company which failed translate it in form of learning’s. I think that can transpire in for great value addition . We all know best learning’s comes from looking at our failures and taking them as strong lessons.
