    The varun story gave me chillis , This is how you direct good films with average actor if the director is good he make is actor a character that is only in his mind.

    • @RohanSharma-tq5jg
      @RohanSharma-tq5jg หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @suraj250684 what ! Badlapur director Shri Ram raghvan which has theatre background and he made even Katrina acts in Mary Christmas and direct films like andhadhun .

    • @suraj250684
      @suraj250684 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @RohanSharma-tq5jg And u think without an actor being capable the actor can deliver?. And Katrina was adequate, Varun was actually very good in Badlapur. There is a big difference.

    • @RohanSharma-tq5jg
      @RohanSharma-tq5jg หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@suraj250684 iam not saying the are bad performer ,iam saying they only became great if they work with the good directors for example when varun Dhawan work with creators like David dhawan and Karan johar
      Cannot compete with Varun that works with shujit sircar but this is totally different with great performers like Ranbir h can pulloff massey performances as well as the grounded roles.

    • @suraj250684
      @suraj250684 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @ It is the requirement of the character is it not? He has to play to the crown in those movies. If he can deliver stellar performances in the hands of good directors then it means the audience acceptance is shaping Varun's choices. Look at the Citadel trailer, for example, he seems to have given a great performance there as well, Bhediya too was very good. So it's not just the director's credit as u appeared to imply. You can say that he needs to work on better movies and we as an audience need to encourage this!

    I have been to Jallianwala twice in 20 years. The chaos that they have done and made out of this memorabilia by introducing thoughtless light and sound shows are saddening. Shoojit Sarkar just caught my feelings; it was uncomfortably eerie in Jallianwala. Not anymore. Why do we have to renovate everything to the extent to make them look like new!!!!

    1). Amazing director who understands that filmmaking comes with a responsibility and He has walked his talk by directing some amazing ones !
    2) Long form content are still being consumed, like this interview which made me dekay cooking lunch... But sit and hear the amazing conversation!
    3) Men with such clarity in morals and values in Art and Entertainment Industry is rare to be seen these days. So glad he exists and hoping he brings out his thoughts and portrayals in the coing years too! #Shoojit
    Well done Samdhish ! It was an amazing interview ❤

    I love the ease combined with deep conviction of Shoojit. An intellectual who carries it all very lightly. The variety of his work is astounding. As he spoke about meaning of cinema, I was struck by a thought, that now, I look every evening for engaging / stimulating art work and not entertainment in the conventional terms. It could well be an interview, like this one. And Samdish, you are the best at interviews. Thanks

    Piku man, I missed watching it n theatre, and now even if it releases I am miles away from India.
    But Piku is still one my top 5 movies, damn I never get bored of watching that movie, never ever. I have already watched it more than 10 times but still feels like I am watching it for the first time.
