    Thanks for the video! Looking forward to the perspective video! Would love to see a video where you guys discuss about the core curriculum that a concept artist needs or something like how a beginner artist progress into a pro concept artist.

    I’m so boggled down by this, when people say break into shapes…. In what way should I construct ? Spider base= circle square? Or all squares then hedge in ? Or build hexagon first

    • @luluna5228
      @luluna5228 ปีที่แล้ว

      And what sources use this method besides draws of and howtodraw

    • @conceptual_ink

      @@luluna5228 it would be easier if you draw over your ref image using simple shapes, which is based on how you use the simplest shape to create the subject with the center line. then you should be able to do the same by yourself on a new canvas using the same shapes as the study from your refs' image. you can look at 1:51

      Use 3d shapes, the stomach can be represented with an ovoid or sphere and the legs can be broken into segments of tapered cylinders (though some segment might not be). All you have to do is think of the shape closest to the part you're observing. Oh and note that using slightly morphed or complex shapes makes it easier to add details.

    Thank for a great explanation and if it is posible a will love if you talk about de relationship between construction and line of action and the interplay of the 3D and the gráfic aspect of a drawing ❤

    Wow! I'm glad YT rocommend this to me, I'm a fan of scott robertson's works, but I'm still a beginner and scott works is too much advance for me, I mean he goes pretty quick in his book, but I can follow his teachings in his gnomon dvd series.. I bought some of gumroad including scott tutorials, I hope you guys can make a complete tutorial from the very beginning to more advance in gumroad, I mean everything we need to know...
    I want to start again from scratch, and I've been lookin' and waitin for ages for a serious perspective course from beginner to advanced, what I really like in gumroad is we can able to download courses, which I prefer..
    if you make a full course, I'll make a list of suggestions or ideas of topics below, like starting to explain the following basic terms and acronyms with "how" and "why" but I don't know if these are neccessary in a course...
    lines Obtuse Acute Right angle tangent perpendicular parallel oblique curve basic shapes and geometric forms picture plane horizon line diminution convergence foreshortening mirroring duplicate multiply subdivide verticals diagonals cone of vision station point line of sight distortion rotation auxillary view isometric vanishing point 1vp to 3vp and beyond special vp measuring point
    and the list below are the things that I really want to learn and master to be honest because some artist are lacking with these subjects.
    And explaining every micro details, And you can go deeper and deeper on the topics.
    XYZ axis and sections, and Planes, and how to rotate it at any angle we want. Orthograpic projection, and all the 6 possible views. front top bottom left right rear.
    I see some concept artist drawing ortho first before transfering them into perspective..
    If this posible, please make this happen, we need a solid complete course..I'll definitely get the course, thank you very much..love you guys ❤

    As someone who's done a fair few animal break downs now, do not pick a rhino as a starter one😂😂 so so so hard at least for me, its really helped starting off with hard surface animals, with less wrinkles and fat
