Wow big budget for this 😂😂
Lol.
My boy Captain Sinbad with some real BDE acting
Better Ideas my guy Joey about to become the #1 PD channel
Captain Sinbad :)
What you doing here
From my memory, as American Psycho came out in 2000, programming meant making no money, and finding a new startup to work at every few months, while the American attitude towards Wall Street bankers started to turn negative, and at the same time, the sensationalism around sociopathy & psychopathy took off. It wasn't until around 2015 that public opinion of silicon valley started to deteriorate in a massive way, and for similar reasons as Wall Street in the late 90's and early 2000's. In a way, American Psycho was in fact made about programmers, but from a different time, when banking was done mostly on paper, and computers were for nerds and narcs.
man, i almost wish american psycho was worse so it wouldn't be a total waste of time to remake it but this time it's Silicon Valley crypto startup guys and andrew tate knockoffs
“...oh my god ...the keys aren’t even labelled” 😂😂😂
That Christian Bale is so spot on, at first I thought you had dubbed in lines from the actual movie. Great sketch!
The “How’s Cecelia” line was perfect.
Sounded like it was from the movie
"listen, paul, bouldering?" bro stop making me howl
I just realized Christian Bale sounds like Keanu Reeves.
It's practically the exact same!
Woah
>333
Trips kek
I have cancer check these dubs!
No.
1:38 are we not going to talk about how he magically turned white for one scene
Shit, I didn't even notice! 😂
It was a quick key feature.
He was wearing blackface.
dude wow
"i dont see color"
I thought I was on captain sinbad’s channel until the credits
Finally TH-cam recommended something worthy
same
That part about Bouldering is criminally familiar to anyone working in FAANG hotspots like Seattle or Bay area.
If there’s ever an American Psycho remake, this guy should play Patrick Bateman
This is too great. The acting, the camerawork, the dialogue, and of course how your voice sounds almost exactly like Patrick Bateman's. Lmao 💀
No software developer would ever use Blue Switches in an open space. Unless he/she's a sociopath and wants to see the world burn 😂
Exactly
Now ya gettin it ;)
No keyboard enthusiast would brag about using blues
@@GershonBenYitzhak Why?
Also, what's keyboard enthusiast? I made my own keyboard from scratch: modeled my own case, modeled my own custom key layout, created blueprints for the laser cutter, cut the case on the laser cutter, wrote the code and flashed the pcb, and assembled it all by myself. Do I qualify?
@@KulaGGin that's fine if you like blues for some reason, but that isn't a bragging piece. It's standard and not custom. Also blues sound like cheap plastic garbage and are near-linear. They just kind of suck. Typically someone who is bragging about using cherry mx blues has probably never tried any other switch besides and mx brown.
I'm glad I went down the mechanical keyboard rabbithole a decade ago so that this made sense for me today. Very funny and ''Raj's'' Bateman voice is spot on. Good work gentlemen.
this is actually decent. great imitation by the main actor.
"Oh my god, the keys aren't even labeled." Spot on, I freaking lost it 😂
“Your compliment was sufficient Kevin!” 💀💀
"The Gemini project" ?👀👀👀
if programming doesnt work out, you all can go it into acting 😂
@GamesTricker i am in programming and if i could do that christian bale voice like he can..... i would not be in programming
GamesTricker thank god, he has an amazing talent and everyone else also did really really great !!!
I love that you know you can't imitate Christian's Bale so when you see Paul Allen's keys you just have face spasms.
I think it's meant to be an orgasm.
More accurate for programmers tho
He literally immitated him 100% accurately! I've never seen better TH-cam acting in my life
@@felixschneider1398 except for in the scenes just mentioned...duh
@@MS-pz9wd i bet he could if he wanted to and just tried to make fun of this ridicolous scene by overacting like that man
Dude, the facial expressions, the smug smile, the voice...superb!
Its perfect. The way they're talking about the keyboards perfectly replicates the business card scene, and how to most people (me), there is no difference between the cards or keyboards. Beautiful.
This has been in my recommended for years but I finally got around to it today. Fantastic parody. Shot-for-shot accurate and the Bateman impression was dead on!
Bruh its only 3 mins long lol
@@oldbot64 Dom’s a busy guy. But don’t worry I’m sure it will only take him another year to finish reading your comment and respond…
*Pulls out an HHKB
(Topre board)*
"MX Green switches"
thank you bro only 14 likes wow
yeah, good catch
It actually made me google to see if HHKB started making models with Cherry switches.
Yeah, I died inside a little bit
RIP Topre - Disrespected to death
This is the best parody I've seen. It's like basically the same persons but a different setting. It's like some kind of sociology. Really nice voice acting. It's like Christian Bale got a tan! XD Also, the e-cig where we can se some real smoke! :3
I appreciate how you didn't drop the final keyboard like Bateman does, but instead put it down gently
This is so impressive, everything is spot on from the film, even the close up shots of the keyboards. And the impressions are perfect! Great job guys
Talk about parodies bruhh..
The guy who did Batemen's impression was great.
Impressive. Very nice. Let's see Paul Allen's impression.
This deserves a full feature length adaptation
Phenomal acting especially the guy that plays Patrick
This is the most accurate parody recreation of a classic scene I've seen. Impressive.
Very Nice
Their commitment to getting down the mannerisms of all the characters in the movie is impressive.
The keyboard part hurts so much as an enthusiast.
Soo true
Same as the business cards in the original scene hurts a typographer. Bateman's card is missing a space, and EVERY card has a misspelling in the company name.
Yeah I cringed when he pulled out the HHKB and said they were greens. Love my topres
Yeah, that's the point. The keyboards are virtually identical, just have different switches (and one of them doesn't have labels). They're obsessing over them while actually being laymen. It was the same in the movie.
@@CanIHasThisName no the hhkbs dont use switches but use electro static capacitive sensors
