I would have to say some very good points. I am a avid golfer and hit quite a few drives at my home simulator so I can weigh in on the subject. I am about 300 lbs and 6 foot tall. I have alot of muscle weight and deadlifting 350 lbs - 400 lbs is not that hard for me. I hit the ball at between 85 to 110 mph per hour max (tested on launch monitor). I find that my longest drives come from hitting through the ball and not at it. I find that high speed with poor contact will lead to very poor drives (speed is not everything, technique is king with proper delivery aka force with accurancy). The proper weight transfer with acceleration delivers great results even if speed is only 90 mph or so. I have hit 300 yard drives and technique is very important to get distance. If I get my weight through the shot with good technique its actually kind of scary how fast the ball comes off the face to the point I actually I am concerned about damaging my impact screen. I think that consistant golf swing with consistant acceleration play a role in a good shot. I believe that weight is an element, but if your carrying alot of mass with extremely poor technique (poor acceleration) your shots are not going to be good or long.
Ah ha moment maybe. If this probably correct explanation convinces me to not try and kill the ball, whenever I put a driver or 3 wood in my hands. That will be immense!
Yes, the smoother you swing the better chance you have at making solid contact in the middle of the sweet spot. Mike Austin and Mike Dunaway taught effortless distance.
Your reply is welcomed and absolutely correct and appreciated, Question how do I accelerate faster to the ball smoothly? Is smooth versus fast acceleration an oxymoron? Thank You, Dave@@yoursimplegolfswing
The intent of my channel is to give golfers a deeper understanding of the golf swing. Therefore I seek to educate. I don’t do quick tips. Quick tips do not build a solid foundation. If you’re trying to build a swing by putting together a bunch of quick tips, you’ll make very little progress.

Very good comment. Thanks for contributing.
Spot on Matt. I also felt the same earlier, why I'm not putting max speed AT the ball...now I know the ans...Thank you...and all the best
All the best to you too Muhammad, thanks for your comment
Excellent video, thanks Matt.
My pleasure thank you for watching
300 yds with a 90 mph swing speed is a bit of stretch
Not with the right to trajectory and firm fairways. 30 yards of roll is nothing.
Thats why Mike Austin called the pivot ” The power move ”
Yes, indeed

Will a robot that weighs more hit the ball farther all things being equal?
I wouldn’t know
yes.
You never got to a swing. All talk. Nope I am visual. Sorry tried you again. Not for me. But this guy is good.
Thank you for giving me another try
What is your swing speed in this video?
I don’t think I did he swing in this video.
So Bodybuilding equals distance. Or does it ? 19.45
Bodybuilding will increase your mass. Plenty of players on tour and in the long drive championship world hit the gym, pretty hard for that reason.
Sorry . Too much confusing narrative . Many readers are not familiar with Kinesiology !
.
LOL! Good to hear from you
Way too long of a video.
