@@ExploringWithJosh hi Josh. I tried to find information on a College and hospital that closed in or just before 2001. I’m doing a project on colleges and universities in the U.S. that closed down with little to no notice to students. A vast majority of schools that have closed in that fashion were “for profit” private colleges that often left students with large amounts of debt from student loans and often times either no degree or certification, or something that left them with very little opportunity to earn enough to pay back those loans in the field they were studying. That looked as if it was a medical school (or pre-med) since it was somehow loosely affiliated with the hospital in some form or fashion. Do you remember the name of the college? I’ve not found any schools in that time frame, but 2001 may have been before basically anything and everything was on the internet. That was basically right in the 5 year period when everything became computerized and on the web. That occurred between the very end of the 90’s and the first few years of the 2000’s? I’d really like to know what university those students transferred to? It looked quite small so I’ll assume it was private, but students must have been allowed to transfer to a state or community college in the state or county the old school resided in. It probably was a state college or university that made special arrangements for them or they would never have been able to transfer a majority of their credits? Any info on the old college’s name will help me find out the new school, and perhaps even try and locate former students I could speak to about the experience they went through? I would absolutely LOVE to find and speak to one or more of them since it would be absolutely incredible for my project? Thanks for any help, Josh?

It's unbelievable how a country's hospitals go bankrupt, it's appalling actually, iv watched so many of these abandoned videos with closed down hospitals..a country where money is most important, not sick people or students, health care in America is crap.

Hey Josh, as many have already commented, here's some basic info: • The machine was for your "Vitals". Pulse Oximeter: For how much oxygen is in your blood. Heart rate: Obviously, but 70 is very good, especially since you had just been walking around. • The incubators would be in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) for premature or sick babies. 🙁 • Nurse Practitioner: A nurse who can write prescriptions. • There might not have been a morgue, but there should have been a cold storage unit for the cadavers for the students to dissect. Ok, stay safe and be wise. 😇
When Josh mentioned The Last of Us it made me almost choke on my soda. I was just thinking that visiting those places would be great to play pretend about being in the game. Having that experience and just going with a bunch of friends and act like you're in the game. Of course, without damaging anything so that the place stays as well preserved as possible. But just imagine how many abandoned places could be used for it, and how cool the experience would be. Woah, I got excited thinking about it!

medical monitoring machines are always conected to nursing stations. when a flatline "code blue"happens alarms at nirsing stations go off then they call while the floor staff is responding to that room, the operator is notified and then a general code blue is announced via intercom. the the code team responds as well
I work mother/baby and that does look like a newborn incubator, super cool to see one that old! Also the equipment taking your pulse was also taking your O2 sats (oxygen levels) and both looked really good🤣
On any expeditions like these. Try to save any abandoned converse shoes. I'd most certainly love to have them. You'd think in most places like these, there would be paranormal investigators doing things

How could you forget about theme parks lol, your whole clothing line started up with the co-ordinates for Nara Dreamland, R.I.P Nara 😭 I'm an OG but not watched for a couple of months because of my Fathers death but I'm back at it man. What Seth found at 20:25 I believe are baby resuscitation units, my son needed one when he was born as he was not breathing, he is now 26 yrs old and fine btw. The "heart monitor" is actually a pulse oximeter which not only reads your heart rate it also will tell you how much Oxygen is in your blood, you can buy little mobile ones with the screen on top of where you put your finger, I have one. A building that had seen the Civil War, two World Wars and the Civil Rights movement-but was not able to survive something seemingly far less momentous: a private equity investor.
My faves: asylums or schools because of history. Theme parks. Anything that has remains or a past with a solid backstory. The whole "idk the history of this place" doesnt do it for me. I wanna know the history no matter how minimal. I love time capsule type places.
Those old desktops are worth quite a bit online and people are buying them up as they are considered relics. They can't be used for much and you cant put any new operating systems on them but they are good for antiques and if you know how to write in things like DOS disk operating system. you can even play old games on them. They were likely 386 consoles maybe even 486. The chipsets on those are by far too old for processing much but I bet they still work. Replace the hard drives or wipe them find an old windows 3.0 disk somewhere and your pretty much set. Wouldn't be a bad system for kids to learn on. Seems like a lot of things in that place could be repurposed for the use of good i.e. in free clinics etc... at 21:27 that is called a pulse oximeter now they come in pocket size which is interesting. Still if things in this couldn't be reused it should be given another life in another system somewhere.

So sad. I graduated high school in 2001. I currently work in healthcare and it's a very costly and demanding business so I get how they closed because of bankruptcy. Many people say healthcare is a scam and a lot of it is but coming from a nonprofit organization with an understanding or contractual allowances for insurance......insurance doesn't pay the provider what we think. It's tough out there.

The needle stuff, tape and vials in the box were blood draw equipment and iv start kits with tegaderm( clear bandaid) to hold iv tubing,catheters in place
The machine that you switched on with the overhead light is used to warm babies immediately after birth, the overhead section is a heat lamp. The machine you put the clip on your finger is called a pulseoximeter it measures pulse and oxygen levels. Yours looked good to me 👍

They should have donated the wheelchairs. If they couldn't find time, they could have asked for help. That's sad but it still could help someone. So many people just need this kind of help
The baby equipment was a transport isolette and the other was a ICC. ICC is where we bring babies after delivery that need to be assessed and treated. The oxygen mask and bag was a bad and mask to provide respiratory support when baby is not breathing. We provide PPE or hold CPAP until we can get baby to an actual isolette. HR of 107 is normal because you are exploring

A local favorite is Delaware Rd. in Clarence, a mile of pitch black road and you can only see as far as your light allows. Which holds many unsettling experiences. Given there is not much to do in the area my mom, friend and I all take part in exploration ~Keep doing what you're doing!~

You mentioned a lot of hospitals go bankrupt. I wonder if it's partly because of them setting their prices so astronomically high as to be unpayable by the majority of people. Like my recent one was over $24,000 for less than 2 hours of 'work', a filthy red/yellow stained mattress, and 2 bag of salt water. Like they don't even tell you or show their prices (like they are lawfully supposed to) So people can't pay their absurd prices, thus they go out of business. I hear it cause Admin (CEO, XO, BOARD) takes the biggest cut but I don't know for sure.

The baby equipment was a transport isolette and the other was a ICC. ICC is where we bring babies after delivery that need to be assessed and treated. The oxygen mask and bag was a bad and mask to provide respiratory support when baby is not breathing. We provide PPE or hold CPAP until we can get baby to an actual isolette. HR of 107 is normal because you are exploring

A local favorite is Delaware Rd. in Clarence, a mile of pitch black road and you can only see as far as your light allows. Which holds many unsettling experiences. Given there is not much to do in the area my mom, friend and I all take part in exploration ~Keep doing what you're doing!~

You mentioned a lot of hospitals go bankrupt. I wonder if it's partly because of them setting their prices so astronomically high as to be unpayable by the majority of people. Like my recent one was over $24,000 for less than 2 hours of 'work', a filthy red/yellow stained mattress, and 2 bag of salt water. Like they don't even tell you or show their prices (like they are lawfully supposed to) So people can't pay their absurd prices, thus they go out of business. I hear it cause Admin (CEO, XO, BOARD) takes the biggest cut but I don't know for sure.
