Man, I felt kinda sad watching this. It's a cool house and everything, but thinking about the owner losing his wife and just feeling like it isn't a home anymore and leaving everything behind got to me. It would be cool if the family saw this and went back for some of those photos.
I couldn't stop thinking about the photos and the memories that are in this place.. I kind of get it in a way on the husbands part, but it would be cool if the family got to see these things again
Sometimes when I’m watching your videos I forget you’re the same age as my adult children. Your wonder at things from the 80’ and 90’s cracks me up. Max Headroom was a classic from 1985. He was supposed to be computer generated but was really a guy with a mask on that just appeared to be generated. He made jokes and was funny at the time. I love your videos but you make me realize I’m getting older than I want to admit. Lol I do appreciate that you value the things you find and it’s sad that no one cares about any of the stuff. 😢
Same. I'm in my early forties and I always want to compliment Josh because I think he's absolutely adorable, but I don't want it's to come across as weird- especially knowing the internet. It's meant absolutely innocently. Literally one of my favorite explorers/ investigators. I just adore his kind personality. Also, I have to agree. I also shared the same nostalgia. I had that same phone that you could see through! (sometimes I think they were better days)😊 Just love it! Sorry for being long-winded, but it is so sad to see this home with so many memories lost to time.
Max Headroom was Matt Frewer. Everyone thought it was computer generated that was how well the videos were done (you gotta take into account the decade). Max Headroom debuted in April 1985 in a British cyberpunk TV movie titled Max Headroom: 20 Minutes into the Future. In the movie, Edison Carter (portrayed by Frewer) is a journalist fleeing his enemies. I believe he also had a TV series & a top ten hit (in several countries) & played on MTV even. Like others who have commented same.. whenever I see Matt Frewer I see Max.
Josh, this is how you should do your Ghost videos man. You should go to haunted places and just Urbex. We all know it's haunted (Allegedly) but you don't have all the gadgets and overreacting to things. This was a great video. You should do something different than all the other Paranormal TH-camrs. In my opinion. It would be nice to see an Urbex video in Waverly or Pennhurst. That would be dope. :)
Love that you are taking a break and going back to exploring video. They are so chill. You go man. Really love that you are taking a step back from the drama. Really cool.
If being TH-cam doesn’t work out for Josh anymore he could seriously tell stories. I love when he tells the history of a place his voice is so soothing and calming.
Josh walking down memory lane repeating "I remember this from whe I was a kid " and me yelling out loud "ME TOO!! Then he gets to the Max Headrum cup and asks who this was and me realizing just how old I really am 😢 ..... Max Headrum was my favorite part of MTV. There is actually a very interesting story behind it y'all should look up
The Lemonheads bucket is "vintage", not antique. (Could be called retro or collectible.) Yes, we ate them by the hand full. Nothing like a juicy mouthful of sour. 👍🏼
As an older person I gotta say this is so sad but it is good that you are documenting it. It's too bad some people choose to be stupid and disrespectful by vandalizing places. That hallway is creepy but such a beautiful home, someone needs to clean up the place. My mind can't wrap around how their stuff is still there...such decay but yet things like the bath towels still hanging there like normal. Another great video Josh!
Hey Josh, I love seeing you back doing more exploring, I've been with you every step of the way since you started exploring on TH-cam and of course your break dancing lol. It was actually a comment you made on one of your video's about asking us to comment what we think that first got me commenting. My favourite part about the house is the lounge with the big English looking fireplace and balcony above. Josh you should totally try and buy the house, how cool would that be with your own lake and secret island. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx ❤
Seeing those concert tickets gave me chills....RUSH is also my favorite band...shoutout from Ontario Canada.....this is def one of the coolest abandoned places you've done in ages...well done....Max Headroom is also Canadian
I’m just gonna say this… As a member of the debunking community and your unfortunate involvement in the latest “scandal” let’s say it’s good to see you return to your roots. Great explore and being older in years I recognized just about everything nostalgic in that house…and you tube max headroom..you may get a kick out of it.. Great video keep up the good work
I remember when Josh used to say he will never explore at night and also he does not believe in Ghosts. Josh is the one who got me addicted to abandoned videos
I’ve been watching since the abandoned asylum, 8 years ago. I remember the first time I stumbled upon your channel, I watched your videos to get a good scare! I’m glad your still making videos, I tune in now from time to time and go on a binge watch! This was a super cool abandoned house, I was a big fan of the bridge that’s super cool, and the windows just by the courtyard is unbelievable!
Hey Josh, Max Hedroom is from the 80s. If i can remember correctly he was a character that was the first computer generated TV presenter. But actually it was a person wearing a mask and a plastic moulded suit, with a blue screen behind him, special lighting and the background blue screen had images that were trippy lol. Also I just wanted to say that I love your videos, you put so much work into your channel. I was just thinking that you've been doing this for 10 years, then you said that after i was thinking it. Keep going and great job 👍
Yes! Lemongrass! I loved the blueberries kind! They were little ppl on the boxes of blueberries. And max Headrom ? Boy?!? You’re missing out in 80’s amazing nostalgia. Actually? With AI as it is? Check out an episode clip. You’ll see lol😊
I had the lemon heads. This was an awesome place. I loved how the bridge to get to the house and then private island to their selves. I would love it out there. You could fish and swim. Peace and quiet. 👻💜
You don't know who Anne franc was, josh? The book is about her diary being kept in a natzi concentration camp and of the things she witnessed and went through before her and the rest of her family were killed, and the only family member to survive was her father, and it was him that published her diary but not before toning it down a bit,so sad.
I thought the same thing. I couldn't tell if he was joking or not. I think he seriously didn't know though. Josh, if you're reading this, I love your content but you need to read that diary! It's a very important part of history.
Definitely an OG here. You and a few other explorers are the reason I started my channel. I’ll always watch your content. Keep them coming. WE HAVE TO COLLAB ONE DAY!! That would be cool AF!!
Nice sharing...Thank you for sharing the video Very inspiring and .Always success..God Bless you Greeting from Indonesian traditional gold prospecting 🇮🇩🙏🌼👍👍
Loved this. It reminded me alot of the house I grew up in. Oh, and thanks for the raccoon jump scare. I was not expecting that!!! Great to see you and Radek in your element. 🦝🦝🦝🦝 And what about that lake house! I mean, who wouldn't want to stay there. Such a gem. Did I say I loved this?? Thanks Josh. Awesome find.💜💜💜💜💜💜
It's really nice to see u get to do something so chill. I've been super into your haunted vids too but this is good for your mental health or whatever 🖤
hi Josh and guys good to hear about the story of the place hope you guys were safe out there 🙏🙏🙏 this looks a little creepy 😱😱 and a little spooky nice video so please be careful when you make videos yes it is so sad I look forward to watching your videos you do a great job on your videos ❤️ you guys thanks for sharing
This may sound weird but your videos, you give me hope. I live alone. In a truly haunted house. I have everything a person could ever want. But the loneliness is sometimes too much. Your videos give me an escape from my own my mind. That’s where true horrors manifest. Thank you Josh. 🙏
So sorry for you, your mind is stronger then you think, you can train your brain, I understand you feel the loneliness is overwelming but try filling your day up with positive things like new hobbies, also, headspace on Netflix episode 2 is amazing, never thought I would be able to meditate but it changed everything for me, and I hope, if you want to give it a try, for you too 🫶🏼
That’s a beautiful house! I like the blend of traditional with art deco in the architecture. I hope it gets restored someday. That property is like a fairy-tale, especially that little island guest house. It’s so romantic.
Omg the nostalgia of my childhood and teens that are in that house is absolutely stunning 😍 the mansion itself is absolutely beautiful even though it is in ruins like I LOVE exploring places like this it’s mind blowing to almost step back in time ❤ and the property and the private island guest house is amazing as well thank you so much for sharing this ❤
So good to see you doing you, Josh . Thank you for sharing this beautiful video. That's what it is beautiful & if something paranormal happens deal with it then but otherwise I love these videos thank you Josh. I believe we are here to explore & learn all we can about earth & one another . God gave us this great creation to love, take care of it & explore as far & wide as we can. ❤
Life was so much simpler back then, And family was always together. I miss the days when family was always together. Makes me wish i could go back in time!!!
That guest house, with those solid wood panels, brought back memories as a kid vacationing in Michigan at the lake front cabins, (that was in the 70's, yea, I'm old as dirt lol).
This house fascinated me ....from the unique architecture to the time capsule of it actually seeing pictures and the time they must have took picking out furnishings both sad and amazing thank you josh I've been subscribed for years now and your videos never fail to disappoint love from 🇬🇧
THAT JUMP SCARE RACCOON SCARED ME STRAIGHT OFF THE BED AND NEARLY GAVE ME A HEART ATTACK. I love this and the gentle way you took us through it. It brought the house alive. 😊
I love Lemonheads! All sour candy really. Also adore that old school double-paned glass. My favorite room was the one with the high ceilings and barn door. Please never stop doing urbex dude. I found you through the paranormal scene and those vids are great too, but you have a glow about you when you explore abandoned places. I see true passion there. I do both as well, and photography. It's exciting changing things up, but yeah, never stop exploring!✨️

Amazing vid! This is what got me into doing videos cause of you and the urban exploring.. i do enjoy your ghost vids as well, keep up the amazing work!!
Holy shit dude, this was amazing.. this is definitely one of my favorite videos you’ve done on an abandoned house and I’ve been here since the OG days, holy crap.. I NEED to go here
MAX HEADROOM ❤️❤️❤️ Was from the 80's when I was a teenager. There's a big story behind it you would love. It was a TV prank. Someone hijacked the TV station brodcast. To this day the who done it is a mystery. Then everyone fell in love with him. He's big part of 80's pop culture Love y'all Josh. Ps i ate lemoheads. They dont taste as good now as they did in the 80s. Been a fan was a member for 5 years. Will always be a fan. Thank you
The first videos I’ve ever seen of yours is when you took your bike to those abandon buildings that you used to go to when you were younger. Not sure if I explained that well. My fav videos are the Egypt Series because that’s #1 on my Bucket List. ESP loved the overnight ghost train vid!
@@ExploringWithJosh I lived in Egypt from 1978 until 1983. My dad worked at the US Embassy and we lived outside of Cairo in a community called Ma’adi. That’s where the international school was and it was called Cairo American College. Even though it was a K through 12 education facility. I was blessed to live there, but we live through some tumultuous times in the Middle East. Including the assassination of Anwar Sadat. Both of my parents were there, my father was part of the embassy team that was helping coordinate the US military equipment in the parade, and my mother was sitting with a bunch of other embassy wives, just a few rows behind President Sedat. We watched the entire parade on the television at home in our apartment building when we saw the airplanes go over flying red, white and blue streams of smoke out behind them. We heard what we thought were firecrackers. Well as we all know now that wasn’t what what was happening. Egypt is an amazing country and I watched your Vlogs with relish. I guess you could say I’m an OG, I probably didn’t get into watching your Urbex videos until a few years ago. But you remind me of MY sons with their fearless love of exploration and pushing boundaries. Be safe and look forward to all you have rolling out! ❤ Nana Jan in SW Virginia PS LOTS of abandoned and haunted places in Appalachia. Come and visit!
Loved this! It’s really bothering me though that you didn’t seem to close all the doors before you left, especially the upstairs one where things had been in fairly good condition, just to help slow down deterioration inside. I’m also wondering what the “ disturbing discovery found” is … regardless I really loved the whole thing so thank you!
I was honestly half expecting for you to find evidence of someone buried on the property. Seems weird not to sell the property and that’s one glaring reason I can think of for not wanting to sell.
I was looking for this video these days thinking that you had already gone, I swear I'm so happy that you're here now. Josh, you're amazing! HOW I LOVEEEE REALLY
Nice josh...as well I think you should come to PA explore the abandoned ski resort in poconos mountains. You'd love it!!! Its beautiful haunted and just a time capsule. Keep up the good work!:) ❤
Who's Allison? One of the best examples @ 20:23 of not hearing an EVP at normal playback speed but changing speed to 0.25 and the EVP is super clear. If you're not slowing the audio speed down you're missing out. That gear icon in lower right corner of screen is settings. Click settings to change playback speed from normal to 0.25. I wonder why she's there? Again slow audio and It sounds like she's saying "Hello" @ 20:18. I hear "This is Allison" @ 20:23. Do you hear "Help" before that?
That kind of looks like a lake my Aunts and Uncles all live on in Salem, CT. The trees on the little island looks familiar. Bob from Bob's Discount Furniture lived on that lake.
Homes like this are time capsules. Its sad to see a place once so full of life decay with everything left behind. I wonder if those kids are still around and where they are today. I hope they're living a great life. Maybe they'll come across this video. I hope they can get their photos
Man, I felt kinda sad watching this. It's a cool house and everything, but thinking about the owner losing his wife and just feeling like it isn't a home anymore and leaving everything behind got to me. It would be cool if the family saw this and went back for some of those photos.
I felt sad to! Seeing someone's life just left behind is super sad! Makes me think what will happen to all the items I cherish 😢
how does hte family abandon an entire property like this? couldnt hte ahve sold it?
@@randomrazrprobably not worth the effort to sell. Location is everything these days. Unless you’re in a city, no one is interested.
so the family just said fuck it, and abandon it?@@momonoahanna1986

Totally agree. I love how natural and chill his urbex vids are.
Yes!!! Ditto
Agreed, started following him years ago because he was top tier of Urbexers on TH-cam, a natural at this.
Well said, love Josh been watching for a couple years. This was perfect
Yea Josh is an amazing UE!
Love that you are taking a break and going back to exploring video. They are so chill. You go man. Really love that you are taking a step back from the drama. Really cool.

Matt Frewer played "Max Headroom." it was from 1985. Lemonheads were one of the candies we had growing up 64-70.
Thankyou for showing us this amazing spot.👌 A dream home and property. The Family were blessed to have had that growing up ❤. Peace from New Zealand 🤘

Josh you should totally try and buy the house, how cool would that be with your own lake and secret island.

I can’t tell you how excited I was to see an abandoned video! It’s some of your best work, honestly
The house looks nice as well. I’m curious how well the design it when it was first built

Was from the 80's when I was a teenager.
Dude I love Egypt vlogs haha was great!!!

I lived in Egypt from 1978 until 1983. ❤ Nana Jan in SW Virginia
PS LOTS of abandoned and haunted places in Appalachia. Come and visit!
Magnificent lake house, I would have a big mansion and a hideaway lake house with a bridge.
the cup is from MTV special
Raddick is back 🤘🤘
Also Max Headroom 80’s icon dude
Who are you calling antique?!
Okay, Josh. You made me jump on the racoon. Lol
This was such a nice break from paranormal. Heart goes out to the family, the house was beautiful
I love the old school abandoned
My favorite was the lake house. I do remember the lemon heads, still my favorite. Did u find out who Max is lol?
I was looking for this video these days thinking that you had already gone, I swear I'm so happy that you're here now. Josh, you're amazing! HOW I LOVEEEE REALLY
Josh enjoy old places and creepy places you go to love it keep up the hard work.
Nice josh...as well I think you should come to PA explore the abandoned ski resort in poconos mountains. You'd love it!!! Its beautiful haunted and just a time capsule. Keep up the good work!:) ❤
Great video young Josh. Really enjoyed.

My wife laugh at me a lot.
Thanks young man.
Jahahaha!
Cool video Josh. I love to see abandoned places.
amazing as i bin watching you 3 years
The grandkids bed, is the same bed I had as a kid! I miss it 😢
I remember when you said you'd never hunt ghosts.
I know Max he's from the 80s also have TV show he was a big hit back in the day
Who's Allison? One of the best examples @ 20:23 of not hearing an EVP at normal playback speed but changing speed to 0.25 and the EVP is super clear. If you're not slowing the audio speed down you're missing out. That gear icon in lower right corner of screen is settings. Click settings to change playback speed from normal to 0.25. I wonder why she's there? Again slow audio and It sounds like she's saying "Hello" @ 20:18. I hear "This is Allison" @ 20:23. Do you hear "Help" before that?
That lake house would be so good for a apocalypse hide away
That kind of looks like a lake my Aunts and Uncles all live on in Salem, CT. The trees on the little island looks familiar. Bob from Bob's Discount Furniture lived on that lake.
Homes like this are time capsules.
Its sad to see a place once so full of life decay with everything left behind. I wonder if those kids are still around and where they are today. I hope they're living a great life. Maybe they'll come across this video. I hope they can get their photos
❤❤❤❤ I Remember Watching Max Headroom,on MTV,ALL the time!! Loved it!! The guy who WAS MAX,I can't remember his name,Well Known Actor!!
