If being TH-cam doesn’t work out for Josh anymore he could seriously tell stories. I love when he tells the history of a place his voice is so soothing and calming.
Man, I felt kinda sad watching this. It's a cool house and everything, but thinking about the owner losing his wife and just feeling like it isn't a home anymore and leaving everything behind got to me. It would be cool if the family saw this and went back for some of those photos.
I couldn't stop thinking about the photos and the memories that are in this place.. I kind of get it in a way on the husbands part, but it would be cool if the family got to see these things again
Love that you are taking a break and going back to exploring video. They are so chill. You go man. Really love that you are taking a step back from the drama. Really cool.
As an older person I gotta say this is so sad but it is good that you are documenting it. It's too bad some people choose to be stupid and disrespectful by vandalizing places. That hallway is creepy but such a beautiful home, someone needs to clean up the place. My mind can't wrap around how their stuff is still there...such decay but yet things like the bath towels still hanging there like normal. Another great video Josh!
Sometimes when I’m watching your videos I forget you’re the same age as my adult children. Your wonder at things from the 80’ and 90’s cracks me up. Max Headroom was a classic from 1985. He was supposed to be computer generated but was really a guy with a mask on that just appeared to be generated. He made jokes and was funny at the time. I love your videos but you make me realize I’m getting older than I want to admit. Lol I do appreciate that you value the things you find and it’s sad that no one cares about any of the stuff. 😢
Same. I'm in my early forties and I always want to compliment Josh because I think he's absolutely adorable, but I don't want it's to come across as weird- especially knowing the internet. It's meant absolutely innocently. Literally one of my favorite explorers/ investigators. I just adore his kind personality. Also, I have to agree. I also shared the same nostalgia. I had that same phone that you could see through! (sometimes I think they were better days)😊 Just love it! Sorry for being long-winded, but it is so sad to see this home with so many memories lost to time.
Max Headroom was Matt Frewer. Everyone thought it was computer generated that was how well the videos were done (you gotta take into account the decade). Max Headroom debuted in April 1985 in a British cyberpunk TV movie titled Max Headroom: 20 Minutes into the Future. In the movie, Edison Carter (portrayed by Frewer) is a journalist fleeing his enemies. I believe he also had a TV series & a top ten hit (in several countries) & played on MTV even. Like others who have commented same.. whenever I see Matt Frewer I see Max.
Josh, this is how you should do your Ghost videos man. You should go to haunted places and just Urbex. We all know it's haunted (Allegedly) but you don't have all the gadgets and overreacting to things. This was a great video. You should do something different than all the other Paranormal TH-camrs. In my opinion. It would be nice to see an Urbex video in Waverly or Pennhurst. That would be dope. :)
I’ve been watching since the abandoned asylum, 8 years ago. I remember the first time I stumbled upon your channel, I watched your videos to get a good scare! I’m glad your still making videos, I tune in now from time to time and go on a binge watch! This was a super cool abandoned house, I was a big fan of the bridge that’s super cool, and the windows just by the courtyard is unbelievable!
Josh walking down memory lane repeating "I remember this from whe I was a kid " and me yelling out loud "ME TOO!! Then he gets to the Max Headrum cup and asks who this was and me realizing just how old I really am 😢 ..... Max Headrum was my favorite part of MTV. There is actually a very interesting story behind it y'all should look up
The Lemonheads bucket is "vintage", not antique. (Could be called retro or collectible.) Yes, we ate them by the hand full. Nothing like a juicy mouthful of sour. 👍🏼
Thanks for the memory trip: Etch-a-sketch and magna doodles, smurf cups, lemonheads in cardboard boxes and the teenage girls room with the clear phone reminds me of 16 candles and pretty in pink. 💖 Goonies was also a favorite of mine too - explains the real skull bones in your cabinet 😉☠💰
Seeing those concert tickets gave me chills....RUSH is also my favorite band...shoutout from Ontario Canada.....this is def one of the coolest abandoned places you've done in ages...well done....Max Headroom is also Canadian
I remember when Josh used to say he will never explore at night and also he does not believe in Ghosts. Josh is the one who got me addicted to abandoned videos
Definitely an OG here. You and a few other explorers are the reason I started my channel. I’ll always watch your content. Keep them coming. WE HAVE TO COLLAB ONE DAY!! That would be cool AF!!
Loved this. It reminded me alot of the house I grew up in. Oh, and thanks for the raccoon jump scare. I was not expecting that!!! Great to see you and Radek in your element. 🦝🦝🦝🦝 And what about that lake house! I mean, who wouldn't want to stay there. Such a gem. Did I say I loved this?? Thanks Josh. Awesome find.💜💜💜💜💜💜
It's really nice to see u get to do something so chill. I've been super into your haunted vids too but this is good for your mental health or whatever 🖤
This house fascinated me ....from the unique architecture to the time capsule of it actually seeing pictures and the time they must have took picking out furnishings both sad and amazing thank you josh I've been subscribed for years now and your videos never fail to disappoint love from 🇬🇧
Omg the nostalgia of my childhood and teens that are in that house is absolutely stunning 😍 the mansion itself is absolutely beautiful even though it is in ruins like I LOVE exploring places like this it’s mind blowing to almost step back in time ❤ and the property and the private island guest house is amazing as well thank you so much for sharing this ❤
Holy shit dude, this was amazing.. this is definitely one of my favorite videos you’ve done on an abandoned house and I’ve been here since the OG days, holy crap.. I NEED to go here
Life was so much simpler back then, And family was always together. I miss the days when family was always together. Makes me wish i could go back in time!!!
Hey Josh, I love seeing you back doing more exploring, I've been with you every step of the way since you started exploring on TH-cam and of course your break dancing lol. It was actually a comment you made on one of your video's about asking us to comment what we think that first got me commenting. My favourite part about the house is the lounge with the big English looking fireplace and balcony above. Josh you should totally try and buy the house, how cool would that be with your own lake and secret island. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx ❤
So good to see you doing you, Josh . Thank you for sharing this beautiful video. That's what it is beautiful & if something paranormal happens deal with it then but otherwise I love these videos thank you Josh. I believe we are here to explore & learn all we can about earth & one another . God gave us this great creation to love, take care of it & explore as far & wide as we can. ❤
I’m just gonna say this… As a member of the debunking community and your unfortunate involvement in the latest “scandal” let’s say it’s good to see you return to your roots. Great explore and being older in years I recognized just about everything nostalgic in that house…and you tube max headroom..you may get a kick out of it.. Great video keep up the good work
This may sound weird but your videos, you give me hope. I live alone. In a truly haunted house. I have everything a person could ever want. But the loneliness is sometimes too much. Your videos give me an escape from my own my mind. That’s where true horrors manifest. Thank you Josh. 🙏
So sorry for you, your mind is stronger then you think, you can train your brain, I understand you feel the loneliness is overwelming but try filling your day up with positive things like new hobbies, also, headspace on Netflix episode 2 is amazing, never thought I would be able to meditate but it changed everything for me, and I hope, if you want to give it a try, for you too 🫶🏼
I love Lemonheads! All sour candy really. Also adore that old school double-paned glass. My favorite room was the one with the high ceilings and barn door. Please never stop doing urbex dude. I found you through the paranormal scene and those vids are great too, but you have a glow about you when you explore abandoned places. I see true passion there. I do both as well, and photography. It's exciting changing things up, but yeah, never stop exploring!✨️

Josh your videos really uplift my days, thank you for showing us this property. Similar to other comments I find a certain sadness in that the father could build such a magnificent forever home and his children, for whatever their reasons, still decided to move away leaving him by himself.
This is one of my favorites, thank you for explaining the floor plan etc in more detail..love your passion..I love all the older styles homes and mansions. Thanks for showing us all around x
Nice sharing...Thank you for sharing the video Very inspiring and .Always success..God Bless you Greeting from Indonesian traditional gold prospecting 🇮🇩🙏🌼👍👍
Absolutely love your work along with BigBanks. You guys are truly amazing and give me inspiration to go looking for properties like this. I have done a few explorations myself so I can definitely relate to yalls feelings about doing this stuff!! Can't wait to see more videos thank you guys for all of this!! You are right! It is good sometimes to take a break from haunted! I just love this video! That house is soo cool. Good vibes...as though one could even imagine the grandchildren running around. That inner garden was beautiful. Loved that other living room sort of room, with the barn door feeling...interesting how multiple styles were combined. Those tiles above the fireplace were amazing. Those footprints were really touching.
I really enjoyed seeing you again , and what you showed here . Yes ! ghosts and things that bump in the night ok . But look how much is on . Exploring Japan and today how we lived shows today how we grew.. I was born 1955 and now 68 in 2024 . One word you and your partners . COOL MAN !!

how does hte family abandon an entire property like this? couldnt hte ahve sold it?

Matt Frewer played "Max Headroom." it was from 1985. Lemonheads were one of the candies we had growing up 64-70.
I can’t tell you how excited I was to see an abandoned video! It’s some of your best work, honestly
The house looks nice as well. I’m curious how well the design it when it was first built

Josh your videos really uplift my days, thank you for showing us this property. Similar to other comments I find a certain sadness in that the father could build such a magnificent forever home and his children, for whatever their reasons, still decided to move away leaving him by himself.
I’ve been here since I was 17, im turning 25 now forever loving exploring videos
