OMG😱😱😱watching from the Philippines❤
If I could 😢❤❤❤I would definitely contribute. Josh.😊 0:29
God bless 🙌 🙏🏻 ❤️ 💖 ✨️ Yiu Josh and Dan and Steve and Dave for risking your lives to get the best of never being there footage ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😢😢😢😢😊
If you decided to take something from one of the many places you've explored what would you takd
hi!!
just wanted to clarify for the school! the reason why all the bags are on the desk is so that the owners can come pick it up but as we can clearly see, no kid ever came back.
as for the photo on the board, it's a picture of after the disaster. so basically, after the disaster, some cleaners came to clean and put the kids' stuff to be easier to pick up.
also, it's not a med school, most likely a primary or secondary school
(coming from a nerd that's too interested in japanese schools, thank you)
Maybe they just haven't had the opportunity to come back.
I mean, they likely moved well away after the incidents.
@@Kalani_Saiko i mean yeah, or maybe their family don’t want their kids to go back to school because they could have some potential trauma and stuff
WOOOHOO PERFECT TIMING I JUST COOKED NOODLES
Same
Haha i just typed im having instant noodles just before i read the end of your comment lol 😅 its noodle night
@@5u1c1dal24 HAHHA EAT WELL GUYS
Brooo now I wanna make noodles 😢
Me too! 😂
Josh at 22:49 the buildings at the hotel are separated in the floors and walls to allow building sections to move independently in an earthquake.
That's why I love watching this channel. I learn something new every day!
Your rad counters are in micro sieverts per hour. You’re ok. The circular layout of the bottoms in the mock control room was for each fuel rod in the reactor. The auxiliary cooling system (RCIS) was literally the savior of this accident. It kept the fuel rods cool for a lot longer than we expected.
Yes!
Thank you!
The highest their meter got was over 10 per hour. What is considered a dangerous amount for an hour? I know they were at lower levels but spending 8 days out there seems kinda risky is it not? Plus that is just what is measured in the air right? None of that is considering any dust or particles they inhaled along the way. I don't really know what im talking about and you seem to know so im picking your brain lol.
@@krufty47 a full body ct scan is around 10mSv. Their rad counters are in μSv (which is 1000 times less), so a ct scan is around 10000 μSv. If we average out the reading, it was around 5-6μSv, so for the same amount of radiation which is equivalent with the ct scan you need to spent around 2 months in that place (if you spending times in safe areas, but there are always hotspots and heavily contaminated areas and its hard to compare a short term huge dose with a long term low one). The main problem with spending time in contaminated areas is the dust which is deposited in the lungs
@@krufty47 50-100 is considered borderline some effects, but at that 2-10 range literally nothing will happen, especially only being exposed to it for some hours that week they were visiting.
I lived in Japan when this happened and the just the first minute has given me chills. I have watched very few of the videos as I saw first hand death and destruction that day. When that reactor popped on live tv, it changed the lives of so many folks. My youngest son’s elementary school was declared a hotspot and had a massive cleanup done to it. For me at work, I was given regular Geiger counter scans for around 5 months.
❤😢Prayers for you all amen 🙏🏻 🙌 ❤️ 19:10
@@camelliachristopher4131 thanks much!
damn this is crazy
Omg hi big fan :)
So, are you going ghost hunting in Chernobyl next? Would be interesting and really scary too.
Your Japan videos have always been my favourite since I started watching your channel for the past like 7 years
Yess thank uuu
5 in the morning talking in the hotel hallway - you guys have been in every hotel I have ever tried to sleep in...
I didn't hear talking, more like yelling.
Guys you shouldnt be touching things. Especially without gloves
do you really expect sensible actions by these type of youtubers? nah.
Id be picking out the nicest clothing to throw in the washer when I eventually go home.
Also wearing a mask to stop dust particles but not wearing eye protection
They’re not dangerous
They shouldn't be in that place anyways.
That explains why we can’t find out what happened to my late Mom’s family. We had been trying to find out what happened to her relatives in Fukushima. We still don’t know if they survived.
How sad, I hope maybe someday you get answers
Let's go back we have so much unfinished business here..... who agrees?
No bro to much lol
@@ExploringWithJosh you forgot to go to the abandoned school for the second part of the last year
@@ExploringWithJosh you gotta breh
I'd like to see you guys return there.
I agreee lets get another japan series
It’s really creepy how everything is just trapped in time and being there probably would feel like it’s 2011 again
Gloves would have been a good idea...
Josh, aren't you afraid that you might suddenly start lighting up on cold, wintry nights?
Why are you going to a place full of radiation like that without protective gloves or masks?
I was yelling at my scream for them to put gloves on at the very least. They need to be way more cautious going forward.
Sheer ignorance, unfortunately. Or perhaps bad advice?
Bet you had a mask for covid.
Dan is a great addition to your videos, he's a very insightful and knowledgeable guy
Just think those kids are no longer kids. They will never get that time back because of the accident
? - they just lost that stuff. It was traumatic but they moved elsewhere and continued school. They weren't locked up somewhere for 10 years.
So true. For me I was surprised at how long ago the disaster happened, all the children that attended that school had their lives changed forever in one day.
And who is responsible for that!
This is so cool AND informative. Was really interested on how security is out there and what it's like In general
I can sense hesitancy from the crew and looking to Josh as he’s directing this content creation. And my stomach turned as Josh said he felt excited over the geiger counter going high. I mean seems Josh is more consumed with the high of the chase and finding good situations to make content out of than for his own safety and health over time, and because of this has no care for his crew, who chose to go, but I’m sure were told they would take the utmost precautions for safety. The haphazard masks, lack of gloves the whole time made my skin crawl for you guys. Radiation doesn’t show its damage right away but eventually people start to erode. These young men seem to think they have nothing to lose. As much as I enjoy content like this, I also enjoy when these projects employ strong attention to safety to everyone involved and ethics as well. I really wanted to like this but the whole message was tattered by your blatant disregard for the very thing that drove a whole town away leaving everything behind. Hope to see better in the future.
I was thinking the same thing. I wasn't going to comment until i read yours.
The way he's dismissing the radiation meter going off and his worried crew telling them "it's fine. It's high but it's fine." While touching everything without gloves or any kind of protection or even masks at points is shocking to me.
And from a professional standpoint you'd hope that before visiting these places he'd give his crew a run down about the risks of radiation sickness, and whatever else they MAY get from going to whichever place it may be.
It's important for you to be educated, and your responsibility to educate your team on the risks and possibilities that could occur EVEN if the chances are near zero.
I personally wouldn't risk my teams health, and future. They're your team/friends. It's your responsibility to make sure that the proper safety gear is worn at the VERY LEAST
I wasn't impressed either
Don't forget to smash that like button
Whe. His skin starts to fall off nobody but himself to blame
all you japan videos are my fav pls post more of these!
Another great video, amazing work Josh!
Great video. Very interesting yet sad. Thanks for taking us along.
I love all your work Josh! You're killing it! Thank you for all you do! 👍🤘
This was well done. You brought out my emotions with your footage of it on really grasping what it was like. Thank you.
Thats so cool you guys got to do this. It's interesting to see what happened and how it looks now. I hope you were all safe. Good job!
Wow you’re still active ! Last I saw your vlogs was 5years ago good to see you still look good ❤
Absolutely love the Japan series, also love your content. Keep up the great work 🤘🏻💪🏻
@ExploringWithJosh that primary school was creepy because i visited that exact primary school in 2005 while i was on an exchange program. so to see everything like that compared to how i remember it. nothing had changed apart from plants and stuff over grown.
Amazing content keep it up Josh ❤❤
Josh never disappoints! Every video is amazing!
Great video! Please stay safe and be careful. I appreciate all you do to bring us these amazing videos.💕💕💕
Love your Japan videos Josh 🤘🏼❤️
This was great thanks Josh!! Very very interesting stuff indeed.
Keep up the great work love the videos
This is what? Your third/ fourth voyage into Fukushima? Stay safe guys!
I ordered a Fullmetal Alchemist figure last year that was shipped from Japan and was wrapped in a page of newspaper. One of the pages actually covers Fukushima and clean up efforts. It's all in Japanese and I can't read a word of if it, but the diagram and pictures make it obvious. From what I can tell, I think it's a March 2023 publication. It's too neat to throw out.
This is the only channel I can watch all the way through, no matter how long
Been watching you since you had 2k subscribers - keep it up !
Don't forget to take your iodine tablets after being in contact with radiation.
Take a shower as soon as you get out. You have about 30 mins of contact on high before you can start to have issues. Still leave as soon as you can
Amazing video as per usual 🔥 also gotta say I love the synthwave music 👌
Fantastic explore Josh, I really enjoyed this, love seeing how everything is just left to nature, so interesting, thankyou so much 🫶
Glad you enjoyed it

I've only recently found you here on TH-cam, thanks to the overnight crew. I'm really enjoying watching all of the abandoned houses/towns. I'm enjoying this series because I've always wondered what happened after the tsunami hit. So a big thank you from a new fan. Keep up the great work.💚🇬🇧
Welcome!!

That's what I like about your vlog. Exploring such abandoned places.
You guys rocked it. The best lost places vid I have ever seen. VERY well done! Thank you!!!!!!

Josh - U R Killing it !!!
yeah i felt what your saying josh , i'am always excited to see you exploring but at the same time it makes me think the story behind the places that your exploring
Absolutely amazing footage always in awe of your expeditions
I watched a video of yours a few years back - you were a teensie too frenetic for me - still thumbed up the video because I liked it but haven't been back until now. When I saw the length of the video and the location I just had to check it out. Much congrats - you seem to have slowed down a little and examined things a little closer and with more compassion / emotion - much more my style. Glad I came back - you guys are doing a great job and keep it up !!
Hi I loving your videos of exploring new places and seeing the travel of time. And places that maybe nenver i going to see. Keep it up i am a fan 🎉
Fascinating video. But please do take care that you don't catch too much radiation, when you visit places like that.
Do more like these ! Love the editing and history/ information. Can you go to another abandoned building/ town that has all their stuff still intact? It’s a rarity due to vandalism which is sad .
You keep saying it's nothing special but, at least for me, the mundane part is actually the most interesting. Keep up the good work :)
Josh out here giving us updates
i'd say the 'hote;' is probably a workers dormitory since it also has mail boxes in the entrance as well, also the gap between the buildings in the floor and the general mess you gotta remember there were huge earthquakes and aftershocks as well (and have been since) that things would have fallen down and giant cracks would form in buildings and floors! great video!
I’m new here been watching your Japanese series and they are awesome
Hello Josh, happy to see another Fukushima video.... Your videos are amazing and you should definitely follow your idea to do something with journalism... You don't need a text sheet 👍 Stay save and enjoy your wonderful live 😎
Amazing work guys ❤
Kewl content, dude!
I have to admit I said WOW a whole lot.!! Awesome vid Josh.👍👍
This was surely amazing and really a thrill to watch. Again love what you do keep up the excellent work Josh & team X 🔥🔥❤👌🏻❤🔥🔥
The perfect timing for a new video and I have cooked myself some lunch and I am ready to watch this video
Eat your launch and be quiet
Something that I've always admired from the japanese culture is their respect for things. I say this because I saw no vandalism, the clothes and furniture are intact and covered in dust. If this was somewhere else, I'm sure everything, radioactive or not, would have been gone by now. Kudos for Japan.
I grew up in Japan, but left in 2012 to be closer to family. Seeing all this stuff, frozen in time from the same era I left it in, is so nostalgic. Genuinely so nice
I’ve been watching your video since pandemic, very love your videos 😘
Shocking to see what happens as a result of such an immense disaster. Thanks for the explore.
Josh, You will go to the Ends of the Earth for AWESOME Content...!!
I, so ENJOY Watching your Videos especially about Japan...!
When I was MUCH YOUNGER I Lived there for Three Years and went to School on the Army Base...! I'm 55 Now and was in the 4 grade - 6 grade while I Lived there...!
I didn’t know Exploring With Josh was still making videos. Throwback man, I used to be obsessed with these exploration videos.
The car grave yard has Chernobyl vibes.
The Red car at 59:15 seems not like a porsche, more likely an Nissan 180SX
Your videos encouraged me to enter an abandoned shop with my dad.😊I'd love to join one of your adventures!👍
It's so crazy seeing a ghost town and thinking, 'what happened here?'
I love your videos❤️
Such a great and insightful video. It sucks for the porche though.
