With how that jaguar was rolling at the end, it wouldve been easier to just simply hold the car back and hope that you can creep it to a stop. Seeing that cop try to go for the door was kinda funny, especially with how far it rolled on the road
Ever take your foot off the brake in a car with an automatic transmission? Most cars just roll under their own power at 1 to 2 mph on a perfectly level street. It takes a fairly significant incline for a vehicle to do nothing at all when taking the foot off the brake. In other words, it wasn't going to stop of its own accord until it ran into something stationary and immovable like the light pole at the end. Good luck with trying to stop 2,500 lbs of steel, glass, and plastic at any speed with your own physical strength. That's like benching at least 500 lbs continuously. Police generally don't put in that much effort. The attempt at the door was reasonable, if ultimately futile.

It's crazy the amount of car chases that happen down in South LA. Way up here in the Northern California Redwoods we just have our little 2 lane highway where thankfully nothing like this happens. In fact, after dark there's barely any traffic on the highway, especially in the Winter. If you turn the scanner on and listen for events happening up here, you just hear crickets. 😊 Pretty cool of that officer to not want to damage the Jag by stopping it with his car and was going to just enter the car to stop it, before it stopped itself on the pole. Show less
@@miss.g-shun-w I agree. There’s no way that I would live down in all of that. Though there are some nice areas down there, the traffic would make me nuts. I’ll take my quiet and peaceful life up here in the Redwoods any day, though we don’t have everything here and have to drive to certain things, driving on our little 2 lane hwy with big trees 🌲 🌲on both sides of the hwy with very little traffic is so nice.
“Erratic,” that was some smooth driving, these sorts of chases usually end in them getting out of shape and wrecking it, he maintained control the entire time. This was definitely someone who knew how to drive a performance car, probably does this for a living.
Exactly. Considering the light to moderate traffic moving at speed, the jaguar's driving seemed pretty smooth for someone running from the CHP. Obviously they'd rather the driver slow down to match the speed of traffic, but for the speeds they were going, I'd say their driving was far from erratic.
The alignment on the car was good because it continued to roll straight. Jaguar service center should be proud of that alignment. 😎

Finger prints in the car? Really doubt this was the first job of this angel. Did he got cought?
Announcer: "Brought to you by Jaguar! Don't run from the cops but if you do...choose a Jaguar! Nothing looks good on replay in court than you fleeing in style!"
This is basically how a lot of these drivers get away.
They know the police will back off.
Then they go ghost under the under pass.
Those jags are slick
exactly why people steal them
that: "he's doing about a f..k 20" cracked me up!!!!!!!!!!
That's not what he said at all. He said buck 20. Common term in US.
It's strange how at 9:23 the car auto brakes and the door closes. Almost like it has safety brakes, yet that doesn't stop it from hitting the traffic light pole at the end.
Lmfaoooo, loved CHP officer's reaction 11:45 😂😂😂
He thinks he played a part in getting that car to stop. clap 😂
"aww shucks he says" haha
Those Jaguars handle and drive amazingly well. This is a great advert for this car! Drives more like an Aston Martin. Beautiful ❤
The fact this happens daily dude… so depressing
well of course. cars are not hard to steal. And it's LA
Nothing depressing about it
I thought this was Awesome! He Ghosted that Car!🤣
Crime happens all day everyday and will continue to happen for the rest of our lives, sucks but we can only do so much about it
Jag F Type R .. a pure beast!!!❤
If everyone else at the interstate is driving 80 mph at most, this dude REALLY be zipping!
Dude had 4 stars and he got away. 😂💪
The van that got his after he bailed straight up committed a hit & run lmao, just kept rolling to work
all of the sudden everyone is a fan of this criminal xD (almost like rooting for him and on his side)
Let me tell how cool this car is 😂 the sound alone makes me want to buy one. My buddy gave me a ride in a f type the car went sideways with little effort lol 😂
Desde hace 10 años veo resúmenes de persecución y hace rato que no veía algo tan magistral (la huida).
Impresionante como burlo a la policía y al pegajoso helicóptero
Estero que Lo encuentren con sus las guellas de la mano 😅
That was the wildest police chase. I got to it late. But watched until the end. I cant wait to find out if he got away!
He’s gone like the wind
He got away lol
He got away faster than a bullet leaving the barrel but probably left behind fingerprints DNA and other useful evidence
He was able to get away, but with nothing as he didn't get to sell the car for money
Brilliant flying and camera skills. I'm watching from Europe. Amazing.
Bro is at home watching the aftermath💀💀
this might be the craziest escape ever lmao
It's crazy the amount of car chases that happen down in South LA. Way up here in the Northern California Redwoods we just have our little 2 lane highway where thankfully nothing like this happens. In fact, after dark there's barely any traffic on the highway, especially in the Winter. If you turn the scanner on and listen for events happening up here, you just hear crickets. 😊 Pretty cool of that officer to not want to damage the Jag by stopping it with his car and was going to just enter the car to stop it, before it stopped itself on the pole.

I can't understand why people WANT to live in Los Angeles out off all the better options in CA.
just wait, soon the whole country will be ghost town, thanks Fauci thanks Pfizer!!
Why aren't there any car chases in San Francisco? Oh I forgot they only got about what, 15 streets and all those hills and stuff.
you 🫵 wanna do a car speed on highway?? We can make history babe. Lol sike 🤣😜
I wish I could drive that fast on the roads without getting arrested lol
