Thumbs up to you lady! You go to the point. Something that I really like are people that actually show us the HOW to installed and use and not those telling us their life and their day and their “funny” jokes for 10 -20mins before they actually start the technical part. Drives me nuts those you tubers.
I am brand new to cutting. Just bought my Explore last night and was afraid to open the box. This is a fantastic, succinct overview. Appreciate the good sound quality and autozoom shooting allowing us to see closeups. Well done.
I keep debating on getting one from Target.com because it is on sale...but super nervous. Like do I really have time for one more craft??? LOL.... Ya'all posts makes me feel less silly hehe :D
The end of your video reminded me I wanted to thank you... I was reading on a forum about product reviews and it was mentioned that the FTC requires reviewers to disclose if they got the item for free (I don't know if thats true) and that most crafters don't seem to disclose that (I do know that is true). Everyone recognized though that you and Lindsey the Frugal Crafter were the only ones who consistently disclosed this information. I had never given it much thought, but I realized that it was true. Out of all the channels I watch you two are the only ones who consistently disclose. Thank you for that. In this day and age people don't seem to care about propriety and it really says something about your integrity as a reviewer. Sorry for the book, but I just wanted you to know your efforts truly are appreciated.
My birthday is today, and my fiance bought me the Explore Air 2. I've never used a Cricut of any kind, but make cards with Stampin Up. I'm soooooo excited to use it for the first time this video makes it look user friendly. Thanks for the video!
I really liked your presentation. It was clear and concise. I appreciated the fact that you did not flutter around with a lot of extraneous stuff that just ends up cluttering up everything if not confusing me. Thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable video that is helpful.
Flor Yanez You don't need a printer, but you WILL need internet access. You'll also need one (or all :-) of these): Computer; Smart Phone; iPad or Android Tablet
Thank you for posting the video, I am a novice to any cutting machine and the Cricut Air 2 is my first purchase. I'm a hands on learner so this helped me a lot.
Enjoy your new toy! I have the original Cricut Explore which requires the optional Bluetooth adapter to use wirelessly. I LOVE how well it cuts! As much as I would love one of the pretty new colors and the 2x speed option, my Explore is still going strong, so I won't be upgrading anytime soon even though it's tempting! LOL
Newbie here! So, with the app downloaded...do we always need to buy the designs? I’ve seen people ask for a svg “dump” idk what that means and if I do get these free designs. How do I use them, download them make them available to use. Sorry, don’t know the correct terms to use
Hi and thank you for the video I found it very informative. The fact that you stuck to the topic and didn’t add unwanted jibber jabber was why I enjoyed watching all the way through. 🙃 Thanks 🙏 again.
Thank you for your help... I was just wondering if you need to pay for each different design you want to cut or if some are free and you can buy additional designs if you would like to??
Nice video! I'm saving up for my circuit! I've watch quite a few videos and you've explained it in a way I could understand! Love the examples and video!! 🖖🏼
Thank you for your video. I have a question there are a few model for purchase, which one of the Cricut family does more for the money. I am working with different materials. Thank you.:)
Great video! I just got one for Christmas but I am having some difficulties with it. When I use vinyl some of my letters do not cut out and my blade acts like it’s cutting but it’s not. Frustrating!! Looking for any suggestions or if anyone has gone through this before! It is brand new.
I am thinking about getting a cricut to make decals for a fishing page I'm an admin on but I have a few questions about the machine and hopefully you can help me out. I was wondering you can make multiple cuts of the same design? Do you have to use the same vinyl made for the machine or can you use the vinyl that's shops use to make decals? And also can you upload your own design that you want to make? Thank you for your time and consideration
Yes, you can make multiple cuts. YES, you can use ANY brand vynil- and YES, you can upload your design (it will just take some additional tweaks in the software to convert it. Hope this helps!
Hello I just watched your video. I have a question? I just got my cricut explore 2 and when I set the machine up for the test run I use the black square paper instead of the long white sheet of paper for the test run. My question to you is the matt that comes with it . Some how when I was doing the test run The paper moved and it cut on the plastic that's over the matt. My question is do I need to replace the matt or can I replace the clear sheet that's over the matt. I'm trying make labels and I'm just a little over whelmed I. I'm in a cricut distress
I just bought a new Cricut Air 2 and have gotten it set up with my computer and my iPad. My question is that the iPad version of the Cricut Design Space doesn't show the entire page like the computer version does. For instance to there is no command to upload a design from a file on my iPad. Any thoughts or is that just the way the app works?
You are correct- the app version is a stripped-down version of the desktop. But you can create on your computer and save it...and those changes or projects will show up in the app when you want to make the cut.
I have a dumb question- just got my cricket and did a couple of project, but once you’re done and that image is already saved, how do you simply close it out and go to another project. Can’t find this anywhere........
After you've completed the cutting/project, a popup will "remind" you to share. You can just press "ok" and it'll bring you back to your canvas. Save your project by clicking on "save" in the upper right and name it. If you want to start a new project, select the "new" button in the upper left on the sidebar. Otherwise on the upper right you can select "my projects" and open up previous projects.
I watched the video after I had attempted the card TWICE. The paper that came in the bundle ripped and when I tried using my own cardstock, it didn't cut all the way through. I'd like to see step by step after you have used the cricut to cut the paper, how do you take it off the mat so it does not rip and then how do you score it, etc. YES, I am a very new newbie and need the visuals to learn. I know I am going to love the machine once I get the hang of it.
Hi Miss! I'm not sure if the pen should get grabbed by the clamp, cause mine remains loose after closing the lever, unlike the little blade that it does get well grabbed by clamp, could you please help me with that doubt? Thank you in advance Have a great day.
I have a problem with my machine when I get ready to make a project and I mirror it and it show up on the mat the little red lines that are around the project I can't move my project down from the red line don't want to cut my work off can you help

I have a Dell Windows Vista will this work with it or will I have to purchase a new computer and if do what kind
You need to have an up-to-date operating system. You can find out the system requirements for Cricut Design space on the website: help.cricut.com/help/system-requirements-design-space You will also need an up-to-date Adobe Flash. These are easy to install (and frankly, you should ALWAYS keep your computers operating systems up to date) so you shouldn't need a new computer per se.
Ok I have been watching video after video and I can’t find what I need. So help please. How do you make an image just taller? I don’t need wider and taller - just taller. When I do get it the height I need I get a message saying it’s not compatible.
Thank you so much for the video. I am exploring which cricut I want to purchase. Do you know if the cricut air explore 2 has capability of using your own handwriting in addition to downloading photos from internet like your example?

do u have a series of videos for beginners and intermedia step by step like if you are teaching a 5 year old?

The clear sheet that comes on the mat is only to keep it clean. You remove that @ every use. Then replace it back on the Matt until future uses.

Can you make cake topper with this brand? Thank you
It is not advised. The Cricut CAKE was specifically for food. Maybe you can find an older one to use for that.
Great explanation. Which video is next?
How do you pair the cricut Air 2 with your iPhone?
Can it be use wirelessly? Not connected to the computer with the cord?
So can you print out anything without a cartridge?
How do you get cricut to send you one to try out and review. I watched 3 cricut videos and all 3 everyone said cricut sent it to them?
Back in the "old days" Cricut developed a program with bloggers to send out review copies. I'm no longer on that list.

Lay the mat upside down and peel it up and away from your project. Use a palette knife or metal craft spatula.
