I just got an Explorer Air 2 and yours is the first video I watched! I've been following you for a while now so I knew I could trust you 😁. I just wanted to share a tip with everyone that I learned from working in the printing industry. I noticed when you folded the card, a little piece poked out in the crease? Paper has a grain, so to avoid this, you just need to fold it parallel with the grain. Grain direction is noted on most paper packaging as the last dimension of the sheet (i.e. 8.5 x 11, 11x17), and is normally the longer side length. I hope this helps someone! I have seen the various Cricut Machines in many craft stores, and even in Walmart now--but never purchased any of them because I had no earthly idea how to use them! let alone what all the sheets of materials were for! I purchased it and I'm so excited to use it with my explore air 2 I received for Christmas. I used your video to help me set it up. It's been in it's original packaging because I have been intimidated by the new machine lol.

I received my Explorer 2 in Christmas 2022, then in February 2023 my boyfriend at the time bought me a printer and laptop. As of today January 2024 all 3 are still in the box. But after listening to you I am ready now to get started. THANK YOU
I am one of those that my machine has not been used at all since I bought it over 3 yrs ago. I have everything I need to do most everything. It has its own table for it. It is all set up ready to go. My problem is finding the time I think. Also, it is not next to my computer. I do a lot of creating graphics on the computer. I would love to use it. My plan was to make custom cards for my family. I have no plans to make money from this machine. If I had this machine when my kids were little, I guess I would have used it more for things like parties and decor things for their rooms. Besides, the market is flooded with people using it to make money. Most people say they can make whatever people are selling. I might need a private tutor locally to get me started, thank you for this video for beginners. It was great
I'm looking into getting a Cricut machine. At first, I was looking at the Cricut Maker but you make this one seem way easier. I like how it kind of give you the image of how it would look on what you placing label on. I have one question...What if you have your own logo or label you want to use, how do you upload and use that?

Thank you! I've had this machine for months and couldn't figure out how to do vinyl. No other video I have watched showed to peel the backing off the vinyl after cutting. Others may show it, but none that I have found. I've subscribed and will spend the weekend on this channel.

For the blades, I learned that you can also take tin foil and rub the blade on that to sharpen and to make it last longer! :)

Heather, I got mine for Christmas last year too and time and intimidation have been what has kept me from using it so far! I plan on doing a mug tonight thanks to this great tutorial! I'm glad I'm not alone in the fact that it took me so long to even attempt to use it. Good luck!
