Hi! I know this is a little old but just in case you haven’t figured it out - she says cardstock setting = cuts through all the way. Paper setting = doesn’t cut all the way through / for sticker sheets. Hope that helps!

Thank you! So it’s a special type of photo paper called adhesive photo paper where it has a backing! It makes it sticky and it’s water resistant too ☺️ But you can also use vinyl of course

Hey! So for tumblers you need vinyl and you can choose different types such as glitter or normal (permanent or temporary), you might need to play around with the settings but my other video shows how to get the settings perfect. For tshirts you’d need iron on vinyl and for stickers you can use sticker paper/ or adhesive photo paper or even printable vinyl

Oh yay! Both are great, the vinyl is usually an easier peel off than photo paper/ sticker paper but I personally use photo paper and it comes off well with a bit of alcohol wipe!

Kayleigh Gill Hi Kayleigh, thanks so much! There’s a few different types for mugs you can get - permanent or temporary vinyl! Certain brands will have specific recommendations and will let you know what they are best used for!

I'm having so many problems with my cricut and I came across your video :) just wondering whether the position of the mat matters? Because in design space the print cut mat shows the mat with the hole facing downwards, but you put your stickers in with the hole facing upwards into the cricut. I tried doing that but my cricut just can't read the sensor marks ://
viv hey! So I haven’t found issues with the mat placement, only if I haven’t put the sticker sheet exactly on the corners it won’t find the sensor marks! Hope this helps

Hi Jamie! I’ve been trying to use my iron on black vinyl to customized some of my clothing, but everytime I try the print then cut option my cricut tells me there’s an error. I’ve calibrated my machine, so I don’t think it’s that. But it would mention using white material; however, I would like to use black vinyl so my images could come out black on my clothing. Any recommendations or suggestions I could do to try and fix this issue? Thank you so much for your help!
Are you printing with a printer then cutting? when I have used printable vinyl I usually still have white vinyl and the image is cut around so you can’t tell it’s white if that makes sense

Hey, not silly at all, It is the cardstock setting but I use adhesive photo paper so it has an adhesive backing, I link it in my DIY stickers video :) You will need a separate printer too

Hello, I'm a designer who try to sell sublimation design. But I'm so confused because some tutorial showing seperated svg file (outline and several color) and print it seperately and put them together to make stickers. So the sticker that you made in procreate, I guess just 1 layer exported into png file and import it into cricut software and just cut using the machine, is that correct? Pardon me if the question looks silly. I'm so new about this and afraid to sell uncompatible svg for sublimation.

Yeah you just need to print out the stickers, save the design as a cut image then use that to cut the stickers

You can also use matte versions, I just prefer the effect of my glossy stickers!

You have to print the actual pictures with a normal printer and then the cricut can cut them on sticker paper

Hi Jamie! I’ve been trying to use my iron on black vinyl to customized some of my clothing, but everytime I try the print then cut option my cricut tells me there’s an error. I’ve calibrated my machine, so I don’t think it’s that. But it would mention using white material; however, I would like to use black vinyl so my images could come out black on my clothing. Any recommendations or suggestions I could do to try and fix this issue? Thank you so much for your help!
Are you printing with a printer then cutting? when I have used printable vinyl I usually still have white vinyl and the image is cut around so you can’t tell it’s white if that makes sense
I know this is going to sound like a silly question, so cardstock is sticker paper? I’ve been wanting to make stickers for forever ago but I have no idea what paper makes up for stickers🥲. Also, what type of ink does a cricut air 2 take? I have one but it’s just been sitting because I don’t know where to start 😮💨

Hey, not silly at all, It is the cardstock setting but I use adhesive photo paper so it has an adhesive backing, I link it in my DIY stickers video :)
You will need a separate printer too

I was wondering what measurements you used in procreate to get the best out of a sticker sheet ( i bought 8.5/11in Full sheet label w/ 1 horizontal back slit)
because i tried to use the measurements on design space, and luckily i only used regular paper to try it out
I import my designs from procreate using between a 1920-2000 X 2500!

When you print your stickers and put it in the cricket machine do you keep the back plastic of the sticker paper on?
Yes so mine is adhesive photo paper with a paper backing that says photo paper and I keep that on!

Hello, I'm a designer who try to sell sublimation design. But I'm so confused because some tutorial showing seperated svg file (outline and several color) and print it seperately and put them together to make stickers. So the sticker that you made in procreate, I guess just 1 layer exported into png file and import it into cricut software and just cut using the machine, is that correct? Pardon me if the question looks silly. I'm so new about this and afraid to sell uncompatible svg for sublimation.
You are correct! It is a print and cut on the machine rather than a cut, I have a DIY stickers video on this!
I'm a newbie and trying to get my hands on a cri cut so in the meantime I'm trying to learn. You made stickers on cardstock, but how are they sticky, sorry if that's a dumb question x
@Hazel Hayward she uses adhesive paper, cool right I had no idea lol but she also has another video where she lists materials and where she gets her stuff, hope this helps:)
