Thank you so much 😊 It was a fab trip and we were sad it had to end! We’ve been home in Cornwall for a few months now, getting out and about as much as we can whilst the weather has been good (not so much over the last couple of weeks!!) What have you guys been up to? Thank you for watching - Amanda & Mark 😍
Hi Jane, thank you so much, we really appreciate that. We’re back home out and about in Cornwall for a couple of weeks but the sun is shining and the scenery is stunning! Then we’ll be heading “across the border” as I call it for a celebratory weekend away 😂. Thank you so much for watching - Amanda & Mark 😍
We had such a great time meeting up with you guys (didn’t want to shove the GoPro in your faces at that time 😂 but had to show them off a little bit 😜) Thank you for asking us to come over to Vannes, it was such a lovely place and made up for the long couple of days driving in the rain. We’ll have to head back there one day. Thank you for watching and see you soon too - Amanda & Mark 😍
Just re watching these again, thanks. You’ve probably sorted your Sat nav by now, but just incase thought I would share our info with you, we’ve got the same unit as you but the 2. I found two things, avoiding toll roads can cause them problems, had this a couple of times too. The thing that has helped is plugging the an and doing a full update to the software. Sometimes needs linking to a PC to do it fully. Thanks again, we’ve been taking lots of notes in prep for October. Tony and Julie.
Hi Tony, thank you so much for this information - we will make sure the Sat Nav is fully updated next time we head off as we were very surprised at the little hissy fit it had 😂 Not sure Mark was that happy with me making us avoid the toll roads but it saved us a fortune I’m sure but think its much easier to do when you travel at a more leisurely pace 😊 You’re are most welcome and thank you both for commenting on our videos we really appreciate that. Where are you most looking forward to visiting when you go over?
Hi Bob 👋🏻 Thank you so much, really glad you enjoyed them - we had such a fab time away 😊 How exciting!! What sort of Motorhome have you got and where are you going to head to first? Any plans to go to Europe? Thank you so much for watching - Amanda & Mark 😍
Hi both. I have so loved watching your journey and almost taking a trip down Memory Lane really as we have been to so many of the same places and loved the adventures of travelling round France, Spain, and Portugal in our campervan. Bitter-sweet for me though as I've lost my husband now and our travelling dreams went with him. So your videos have brought a few tears, but mainly smiles at the happy memories. There's nothing quite like boarding the Pont Avon at Plymouth and setting off for a few weeks of happiness is there? Thank you for sharing- I'm going to miss you both until the next videos x
Awhh Teresa thank you so much for your comment 🥰 Firstly we are very sorry for your loss 😢 but we're glad we we were able to help you relive those happy memories you had with your husband 😊 It sounds like you had some amazing adventures - where was your most favourite place to visit? Please come along with us on all our other journeys - we live in Cornwall and are always out and about around the county exploring one way or another 😊 Did you come to Cornwall in your Campervan? Thank you so much for watching, take care - Amanda & Mark 😍
Thank you for your lovely message. I actually live in Cornwall (I'm out in the sticks between St. Ives and Penzance, close to Trencrom Hill and St. Michael's Way), so yes, I've seen a bit of our beautiful county. I have to say our favourite place to tour was always France, but difficult to pinpoint any one place- we returned to Pornic many times (north-west coast), loved St. Tropez and Nice, and had our last (though we didn't know it at the time) and best holiday travelling to Pau and back. I think Tim would say he loved Carcasonne the best. He lived in Portugal for 5 years and we had an amazing time travelling to where he lived near Melides in the van. Happy days and beautiful memories. I'd normally say at this point "Make the most of it because you never know what's around the corner" (Tim was the same age as Mark), but I can tell from watching you both that you're loving every minute of what you do. It's lovely to see x@@AdventureswithAmandaandMark
@@teresae.1747 Oh goodness how lovely that you live here too 😊 Would love to walk St Michaels Way one day, was meant to do it as a race a few years back but the weather wasn’t good so gave it a miss 😂 I think France is very nice and so many beautiful places to visit - really want to see lots of french chateaus and also have Carcassonne on my list to visit. Mark is more for Spain as we have always gone there cycling but we loved the Pyrenees and he needs to take me to the Alps as not been there yet. You are absolutely right! I’ve had two near misses with the bike now and Mark actually got hit by a car and had his hip broken so I’m always saying we need to make as many memories as we can as you just don’t know what might happen. We have so many plans for travelling just need to work on making more time 😂. Thank you again for watching our videos and feel free to drop us a line anytime you like. Take care - Amanda & Mark 😍
Thanks Kevin 😊 Yes that was a lovely cycle path and thing you could cycle around the area on little paths like that a lot further - something to look into if we go that way again! We live near the Camel Trail in Cornwall so thats quite a good one for getting from the moors to the sea 😀 Thank you so much for watching, we really appreciate it - Amanda & Mark 😍
Great video to end your trip. And a splendid last location to camp! You might have already shared this, but what cameras do you use, if you don't mind sharing! Hopefully your next big adventure is already well in the planning. Nicky & Kevin x
Thank you so much ☺️ Do you mean the GoPro? Its a Hero 10 and then odd bits will be from my IPhone 5SE (so nothing too special). We obviously treated ourselves to the drone last year but didn’t use it too much when we were away but have been practicing with its lots since we’ve been back (don’t know if you saw but we actually crashed it and had to get a replacement!!). Hope that helps 😀 We’ll be off to Scotland to visit my family in September so that will be the next biggish adventure. Thanks for watching - Amanda & Mark 😍
Awhh thanks guys, you’re the best 🥰 Thank you for watching them all, we really do appreciate that! Back in Cornwall for the next couple of weeks with some amazing scenery 🤩 Mark is getting quite good with the drone now!!
@@AdventureswithAmandaandMark Mark seems to have got very good with the drone. It takes practice. Enjoy Cornwall, we can’t get away, even for a weekend until August ☹️. Hopefully, a larger trip in September 🤞🏻
Congratulations Guys on a superb Channel. We loved your videos. Where are you from? You sound like you are from our original neck of the woods Somerset?
Hi Richard, thank you so much for saying that! We have MAHOOSIVE grins on our faces right now 😁 We are from Cornwall so you might see we have a Cornwall Playlist from when we’re out and about for a weekend locally or just a “mini adventure” for the day. Mark is a cornishmen but I am originally from Avon so pretty close to you! Have you guys got a Motorhome/caravan? Have you been down to Cornwall on your travels? Thank you so much for watching - Amanda & Mark 😍
@@AdventureswithAmandaandMark Yes we have just got our second Motorhome last week. I have a construction company in London (we live in the New Forest) I now run my company when we are out of the country by Zoom! Julia my wife and I have spent over 50% of our time 'on the road' in the last 3 years. Even when I am in London working we stay in the Motorhome. We did two big trips this year first to Austria / Croatia in January. Then about a month later we went to the Artic Circle (Sweden,Finland, Norway, Denmark) for 3 months and did 4500 miles driving mostly on snow and ice! It was brilliant! We love Cornwall and had our caravan just outside of Bude about 5 years ago! Must hook up one day! - The reason we found your channel is because we are going to Spain for 2 months in November / December! Trust me your Channel will explode....its got the lot! Funny, relaxed, informative etc Keep up the fantastic work guys - total respect for what you are doing
@@richardlock5284 Hi, ok so we still have those grins on our faces 🤣 and really appreciate what you have said about our Channel, thank you, thank you, thank you 😍 Sounds like you are very experienced Motorhomers, much more than us as we’ve only been at it a couple of years! We absolutely love it and our dream is to spend a lot more time travelling and the thought of going into Europe for three months is just so exciting. Austria and Croatia are on our list - not sure about the Artic Circle, love snow but don’t like being cold 😂 We’re going to those countries on a Baltic cruise for my big birthday next year though which is just as exciting. What sort of motorhome do you have? Spain for two months during that time of year would be our destination of choice - do you have any places in mind you fancy visiting? All along that southern coast would be good but I know from another couple that if you are going to be there at Christmas you need to pre-book at site as they getting fully booked quickly! I’m glad we could help a little bit and thank you for finding our channel, keep in touch - Amanda & Mark 😍
@@AdventureswithAmandaandMark Hi Guys just binge watching your videos - brilliant! Just watched you come back from Roscoff! Loved the site on the beach! We are off to France next weekend for short 4 day break with my cousin and family! We just sold our Hymer and have a new van which is a Burstner! Got it in Wellington near Taunton Not decided on route for Spain yet! Ferry booked to Santander.. We are going to work our way down through the middle of Spain, stopping at the Rioja region on the way down ( I loved the Port tasting video in Porto) We may even get to Morocco Anyway happy travels ! We look forward to sharing a glass with you one day 🍷🍷🍷 Richard & Julia Lock
Oh my goodness!!!!! Can’t believe you have just said that!! We’ll let you in on a little secret …….. we are picking up a new motorhome next week, going to be so sad to say goodbye to Indie but we need a bigger van for longer travel with a big garage to keep our bikes secure AND its a BURSTNER!!!!!! Happy travels to both you too and yeah we’ll hold you to that drink 😍
