After her dangerously cover, I think she became all of our favorites of the group. Girl's got a VOICE and STAGE PRSEENCE. It made me so excited to see her perform in the group. She most likely left YG and I hope she will still debut elsewhere bc her talent shouldn't be wasted!

Ahyeon has been my bias since the release of her presentation video, but with every episode of Last Evaluation, my admiration and my love for her grew more. The most believable reason is the *failed surgery.* That explained so much. Like her absence, the timeline, and the postponement. There are also rumors going around with the kpop stylist that it's because the failed surgery.
Ahyeon is a key member in Babymonster and you will notice that the debut song fits her. Too bad for baby monster. I thought Pharita has it but when I saw her is the MV I can't feel her for some reason.

For me I think it's mental health issues the hate comments weren't do friendly and a lot of staff and ygx dancers said they saw her on Korean platforms😊

That's probably not the reason. Her face is already widely recognized. There's no reason for plastic surgery here, and there's no reason for it to go wrong. Korean medical technology is the best in the world.
Personally, I think the most likely reason is her behavior in school. This is almost always the case when debuts are canceled.

One thing YG just does NOT understand is that transparency is such an important thing nowadays. Like years back they can pull something like this (being vague about whats happening to one fo their artist) but now you see this speculating thing and not being honest (or at least slightly honest) is not working anymore and its costing BabyMonster the hype. Sad to see and hopefully they can recover from this. I would love to see BabyMonster succeed (sadly it is under YG but well).

They already kind of flopped in SK. I think you don’t realise how important she’s in the group. Yeah, I know all members are important and talented, but Ahyeon just has that little something that sets her apart. She’s really the whole package: she can sing, rap,dance,speak foreign languages. She also has the ability to be a leader. She probably has the best stage presence and her facial expressions are on point too. On top of all that, she can also be a center and her visuals are top notch.

it’s fine I think. If she really don’t want to debut with BM because of any other reason then it’s her lost opportunity. Why? She waited years for that debut and you will start from zero? That’s not smart. Also, even if they didn’t chart in SK or win in the melon chart that’s fine as well. Not everyone should break records always. Also, YG targeted international fans always. I don’t even think that SK is super important to the company. If you have a lot haters on that country why would you put efforts to that, just find someone or somewhere that’s appreciates you more. :)
I love ahyeon so much, yes! she is beautiful, she is talented, she's loved by both international and Korean audience but in your video you're definitely not giving the other baemon members credit. All of the members are a great asset to the group and through YG's survival show each members gained both International and Korean fans.
When it comes to YG's survival show I think it wasn't a bad idea, even though YG is very inconsistent in his plans with the group (if you're also a treasure Stan and watched treasure box then you'll know what I'm talking about) I think he established the baemon survival show for 3 reasons; (1) to showcase the raw talents of each individual members,which is great considering that baemon is a 7 member girl group and a proper showcase of their talent is a way to attract audience (of course other than visual,talent is definitely one of the reasons why regular people/audience will stan a certain group.) (2) Other than talent YG would also want the audience to know the members personally, witness their hardwork and see what their real personality is like off stage and behind the scenes ( personality is really the key here it will make or break an idol because no matter how beautiful and talented an idol is but when they have a bad and an awful personality well they should not expect people to praise or adore them let alone be a fan of them.) (3) and I think this is definitely the main reason and it is to test the chemistry of the members with each other and to see if a 7 member group would appeal to audience, why??? because again baemon is a 7 member girl group and if you're a YG Stan, we all know that YG never ever debut a girl group before with more than 4 members. Both 2ne1 and Blackpink are 4 members groups and mind you a very well established group in the kpop industry, of course debuting a 7 member girl group is new to YG. Moreover, YG seek to build rapport with the audience by hearing out the opinions of the audience who had been following the survival show, low and behold the audience wants all the members to debut together without leaving any single one.
With baby monster's debut I can see the group flourishing with or without ahyeon. Don't get me wrong, again I love ahyeon and I would love to have her back with baby monster because she is essential and an asset to the group just like the rest of the members. Baby monster is just starting to show us what they really got and for those who don't want to witness it then it their lost cause I'm telling you this is just the beginning to more success and achievements to come😄.

I always love those rumors that start with a statement like "I have a friend who works as a makeup artist in the industry and she said..."[then just insert whatever rumor you want, implying that your "friend" actually knows something, while also not really saying that your friend knows anything for real.]
Notice how nothing in the comment indicates that the "friend" is involved in anything related to the group or any member of the group and the "friend" is not saying where she got the information or who she got it from. It's like all the reporting about Blackpink's contract. "According to someone who is connected to the music industry"...[then just insert whatever rumor you want.] Don't get me wrong, the guessing and speculation about it being related to a nose job COULD turn out to be true...or NOT. But it's just silly to try to get more respect and credibility for rumors and guesses by saying that they came from some (always anonymous} "friend" or "insider" or person who "works in the industry" and so on.

The song did well internationally at the start (as shown by the TH-cam views) but so far it hasn't been received well by the general public in Korea (based on music charts) But there's still time. I wasn't a big fan of the debut song YG chose for them but I know they have a lot of potential for the future to make better music

People, STOP WORRYING. Ahyeon is joining the rest of the group for their new album, BABYMONS7ER, and based on her visual film, it doesn't look like she had plastic surgery. I think she really was sick and couldn't perform. In BABYMONS7ER, there is a 7 member Batter Up and Stuck in the Middle, according to babymonster's info about the tracks on the album. So don't worry, our Ahyeon is perfectly fine.
Just so you know now as of April 2024 Ahyeon is back to BAEMON and owned their new comeback era SHEESH!!

Yeri of Red Velvet is the only case I can think about of an idol joining the group after debut and despite being announced as part of the lineup before. This is very rare and very unlikely to be true in my opinion. And when will Babymonster have their next comeback? In 2 years? I don't see Ahyeon wasting precious years of career to wait for a comeback where she could or could not participate.

If she is only on medical leave YG would not have officially changed the name from BabyMons7er to BabyMonster (leaving out the 7) months ago. As for the surgery rumors, rhinoplasty recovery is not 5 months long and if she had surgery in the beginning of July she would have been back by Mid August at the latest. The N word contraversy does have some legs to stand on, but not 100%. The most likely thing is that when contracts were to be signed in late June she did not like the terms of the contract and did a Somi. Because she still has a trainee contract she is held to gag orders for now and that is the most likely reason for her leaving and nobody (her, the other BabyMonster girls, and anybody at YG) saying a word about it until after the debut of BM is successful without her.
I honestly think the opposite. After seeing the new video and how different the girls look now, maybe she didn't want to go under the knife. It's so easy for someone to say she had a bad surgery rumor because it so common and easily believe.

I feel like it's yg's marketting strategy to gain people's attention by hiding ahyeon coz he knows people really love her and if he keeps on hiding her people will 24/7 talk bout her and babymonster he wants his group to be more in public's attention also i feel like not letting her debut in batter up is a marketting strategy to later give a bop by bringing her back which will gain alot of attention for ahyeon's comeback and it might go really far.

Saur my opinion on this is that ahyeon left due to the n-word controversy because it would be bad that even before she debuted she got hate many of the people that i know were saying that they didnt like babymonster any more because of ahyeon saying that baby monster recently had their debut and released another song called stuck in the middle shortly after stuck in the middle was released they revealed that ahyeon would go back with the group and they would redo the songs so she would be included but while i was Internet surfing on new kpop groups that were soon to debut i saw a trainee for another company that has a sligh resemblance of ahyeon and to add on top of that they said she was close to the baby monster members which i find highly suspicious another thing though that i thought about was how baby monster is successful even without ahyeon leading me to think that maybe they arent going to bring her back in to baby monster because they dont really need her any more to make the group popular anymore
its giving “her parents didn’t want her to debut under a company whose ceo was arrested but after receiving a irrefutable proposal they thought again” vibe

after i heard the news, i searched them in wikipedia. it showed like 6 members, ahyeaon left the grp. and then, now, if i search, it says 7 members.
Might be mental health problems more, being as an idol there must a lot of pressure
She was recently seen going in the YG building. So I think she was genuinely sick it’s just odd, missing a debut is odd.
Ahyeon and Asa are my favourite and I don't want Ahyeon to leave babymonster.
