    Just did mine and it feels good, nice and snug. Couple of things I did differently: I ran the cold water over it for 2 minutes instead of one (directions said for one minute), and second: I used a butter knife to gently pry under the stubborn sections at the back working forward--it popped out quite easily. This feels good and better than the hard appliance ($500) my dentist did. Replace every six months, I read.

      This one works pretty well. It’s
      bulkier than the $$ dentist ones.
      There is another brand “Sleep Right”. Their guards are harder and less bulky, more like the dentist-made ones. About same price. Might be a good alternative.
      Less bulky = Less Gaggy

    • @Supadubya
      @Supadubya 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don't belive you.
      You see, you couldn't possibly have saved money when you can't make a functional mouth guard from this.
      The guard sticks to the impression tray, and does not separate no matter how much ice-cold water of freezing you use.

    The instructions in this video are almost completely different from the written instructions (which linked to this video. The written instructions say to leave the guard in the tray for 30-60 minutes, but this video says to remove it immediately. The written instructions do not say to not use it for two hours like this video does. So, which is it?

  • @simplysteph1
    @simplysteph1 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    This video contradicts what the written instructions that come with the night guard say. The written instructions don’t say to rinse the guard immediately after molding. They say to put the guard in the case for 30-60 minutes after molding. That’s probably why so many people can they the guard out afterwards.

      It took me 20 seconds to get it out of the green tray. I read your guys’ comments. As soon as I got it out of the microwave, I only did a few seconds with warm water and I immediately popped it in my mouth to mold it. I did that for one minute and ran ice water on it for only a few seconds and immediately got it out with my fingers just like the lady did in the video. It popped out pretty easily and slowly.

    Great mouthguard. Hilarious comments about how this mouthguard caused people’s teeth to deform and get crooked. As if wearing this plastic mouthguard for 7 hours a night caused your teeth to deform. Maybe I should sue my high school football coach and current pickleball coach as they require mouthguards too. Good luck with that lawsuit, Matlock!

    DONT USE THE TRAY! Get some type of microwave safe glass cookware and fill it up a little under a pinky finger length. No get for a minute and a half, then for 3 to 4 seconds fill it up with water from your sink. Face the mirror and line it up perfectly and then use either the top of your fingers or the thumb of each hand to make sure you get it in there deep

    CRAP! I had a custom (upper) Guard fitted by my Dentist, but have a cracked molar (Since then) on my bottom teeth. I bought the Oral B hoping to use a top and bottom guard. The hard, arched part of the custom guard hurts my bad tooth (which had a new composite filling drilled into it recently.)
    The Dentist gives me only a Fifty percent chance of that tooth surviving.
