Oral-B Plus Scope Outlast Nighttime Dental Guard step by step forming instructions for a professional, thin fit.
Don’t buy clear won’t come out from green plastic
Beautiful
I bought and used this for 4 nights and my teeth and gums were sore and my bite doesn't line up anymore. Hopefully my dentist can fix it.
I suppose I could try this instead of spending $500 for one at my dentist
I tried a different brand, and so far so good. I thought it would feel weird to have this in my mouth while I sleep, but it actually wasn’t too bad.
These kind of night guards aren’t good; they can change your bite since they aren’t customized
It’s literally molded to your teeth
I'm wondering if you don't have a microwave, because my aunt does not want one in the house. How can I heat the dental guard? :I am guessing I can use very hot water by placing the whole little case in the hot water_ but for how long?
Or boil it for a minute
You could buy a different type that you boil, I tried using one and it works pretty well.
Thanks for the guidance, I also found out that you don't have to spend hundreds of dollars to have it professionally done you could just get even a dollar one at the Walmart and it'll work just as good if you do it right. And if at first you don't succeed I guess you should try again. ❤ I love you 💞 😁 Wish You could be my best friend, You remind me of a friend I had. 😢
Does it work with braces
Probably not a good idea to use this with braces.
can i use for fight ?
Never
Its only for sleeping
it sparks in the microwave, wtf are you trying to put in my mouth lol
How are people in the comments struggling. This was easy asf to do
$20 for a piece of 💩
This is the stupidest idea for $20.
It's a pain of the as
I TRIED IT AND MY LAPTOP INTERNALLY COMBUSTED HELP
Thank you
Ignore half the comments here from paid, Dark Marketing shills. The product is absolute SHIT. The guard sticks to the impression tray, and does not come apart no matter what you do...
I just tried it tonight it wouldn't come out of the green tray. Repeat Ed Still won't come Is ruined? Help lost $20 K
Same! They said put in freezer for 10 min...I forgot it in there last week I guess it's trash now
@@aftonclaiborne951let it thaw out and try again. I had similar experience…
Ive gotten th m professionaly made and thay always fall out

works perfect for me !!!!!
DONT USE THE TRAY! Get some type of microwave safe glass cookware and fill it up a little under a pinky finger length. No get for a minute and a half, then for 3 to 4 seconds fill it up with water from your sink. Face the mirror and line it up perfectly and then use either the top of your fingers or the thumb of each hand to make sure you get it in there deep
Lmao I burned myself pulling it out of the microwave and fucked up the molar Porsche and why can't you also have boiling instructions
Are these safe? Non toxic?
This video contradicts what the written instructions that come with the night guard say. The written instructions don’t say to rinse the guard immediately after molding. They say to put the guard in the case for 30-60 minutes after molding. That’s probably why so many people can they the guard out afterwards.
i tried it both ways and i still can’t get the guard out of the tray
Some of the things people are saying about this device are the same results I got from expensive Invisalign braces. Have an overbite now I didn't have before treatment and teeth and mouth are ALWAYS uncomfortable.
Did this specific guard caused the overbite or the Invisalign did? Please be more clear. Thanks!
Has anybody ever gotten the stigmata or levitated after trying to use this? It's probably just me.
@OraLabs - can you please add captions to the video for people who have hearing impairments ?
This is now done, take a look and let us know if any other questions or concerns. Thank you Emily
My dentist wanted to charge me 500$ for a night guard, the last one I purchased I accidentally dropped and it broke in half. Saved so much money with this
I don't belive you. You see, you couldn't possibly have saved money when you can't make a functional mouth guard from this. The guard sticks to the impression tray, and does not separate no matter how much ice-cold water of freezing you use.
Mine wanted to charge me $600 🤦♀️
To anyone thinking of getting this: DONT I had this in my mouth for only 2 weeks and most of my bottom teeth shifted permanently, my dentist said the only way it could be fixed is with braces, all because I tried cutting corners and not getting the “ dental grade” nightguard. You only have one set of teeth in life, please protect them properly.
how old are you
@@sirus312 not a question you should openly ask people on the internet.
@@no_u_420 same with giving advice. No one should give medical advice unless qualified
@@sirus312 it’s not medical advice 🤣 you can fact check it if you want ya bot. I stand by what I said as I speak from experience. Dumb kids these days smh. Edit: who’s to say the bimbo in the vid isn’t even a dentist? Like there’s no proof for her qualifications. Think before trying to have a go at someone over something so stupid.
@@sirus312 He isn’t lying, over the counter night guards aren’t custom Moulded like the ones from orthodontist. Wearing these could shift your teeth or give you an open bite. This is pretty common with these type of mouth guards. Just ask convince your parents to get you a night guard from an orthodontist or if you’re old enough get a job and buy it for your self it’s somewhere around 400 to 800
CRAP! I had a custom (upper) Guard fitted by my Dentist, but have a cracked molar (Since then) on my bottom teeth. I bought the Oral B hoping to use a top and bottom guard. The hard, arched part of the custom guard hurts my bad tooth (which had a new composite filling drilled into it recently.) The Dentist gives me only a Fifty percent chance of that tooth surviving. Never lost a permanent tooth before. )-;
Oh no. I hope you didn’t lose it
@@shereehumphrey Not YET. It doesn't hurt (sometimes painlessly throbs), but there IS a fistula. I have an appointment with the oral surgeon in late November.
Great mouthguard. Hilarious comments about how this mouthguard caused people’s teeth to deform and get crooked. As if wearing this plastic mouthguard for 7 hours a night caused your teeth to deform. Maybe I should sue my high school football coach and current pickleball coach as they require mouthguards too. Good luck with that lawsuit, Matlock!
I AM HAVING HARD TIME TOGET IT OUT
I followed the instructions. I couldn't get it out of the green tray. The green tray cracked as I fought with it. I want my money back.
This thing doesn’t work I repeated the steps 6 time and the mold still won’t come out and is cracked in the middle
This did not work great for me. Not enough to this thing imo. I'd be afraid i'd choke on it in the middle of the night.
Do not use this product!!! I did for five months, and it deformed my teeth. It only customizes itself for your top teeth; the bottom is flat, and that pushes your teeth. Now I'm waiting to see if they go back, or if I'll have to pay $7000 for *18 months of braces*!
update?
@@audaxo they went back to normal, maybe 30%, on their own. I can't afford $11k+ for braces, so I'm just living with the remaining 70% permanently messed up (eg. they sometimes "slip" when chewing) ... all because I used an oral b mouth guard for 5 months
Hm my dentist recommended this wtf
Ruined my teeth too. :( it doesn’t reach all the molars so the bottoms ones have started to fall outward and the bottom ones inward, and now I have an open bite after months of using this thing. I’m so sad and scared my teeth are so uncomfortable now but I can’t afford braces. I also don’t know if I should stop wearing the guard cause I’ll definitely grind my teeth to bits without it.
@@jadew.1472 someone needs to start a class action lawsuit to get us free braces
I just bought this and I’m upset because i have an overbite and my teeth are crowded ..so like … i have it in now and it’s not comfortable
The instructions in this video are almost completely different from the written instructions (which linked to this video. The written instructions say to leave the guard in the tray for 30-60 minutes, but this video says to remove it immediately. The written instructions do not say to not use it for two hours like this video does. So, which is it?
Call the number for headquarters
How will you survive bro?!
@@LOFIRULESCOM lolololol
😆Love your handle.
I think you must have gotten an older model?
Just did mine and it feels good, nice and snug. Couple of things I did differently: I ran the cold water over it for 2 minutes instead of one (directions said for one minute), and second: I used a butter knife to gently pry under the stubborn sections at the back working forward--it popped out quite easily. This feels good and better than the hard appliance ($500) my dentist did. Replace every six months, I read.
What
Dogshit product, don’t waste your money on it
How much does this guard last ?
six months
Cool I hope I can find this a the grocery store
These things are trash, They literally will not stay on my teeth. It took me forever to get the green thing out. 0/10
have u found a better one?
Insanely difficult to remove from green tray. Almost ruined it.
How did you get it out?
@@NETBotic very carefully
i had a hard time, too. put it in freezer but even then it was a challenge. made sure it was well set so the shape wouldn't deform but I finally got it out - very carefully.
do you think its okay to just keep it in the green tray? because mine is like..fused with it dont ask how or why 😔
Thanks going to try this first. Comfort dental wants $300 for a custom guard.
How did it go ? My doc told me I need guard for tmj
This one is cheap $20 and works
This one works pretty well. It’s bulkier than the $$ dentist ones. There is another brand “Sleep Right”. Their guards are harder and less bulky, more like the dentist-made ones. About same price. Might be a good alternative. Less bulky = Less Gaggy 😁

I got my first one at the dentist for $45 but lost it and when I went to buy another it’s now $300??
I am on the 2nd try and still cant get it out of the green tray!
This doesn't come out of the darn tray. I wasted money
