I think using the gel medium as texture makes the paper look quilted. I love the completed pages. They're simple, but stunning. Adding the white dots was an excellent touch. The words set it off,but thesplashes finished it !!

The wonderful thing about crafting is one may stop and come back hours to days later to complete the craft. Most projects when one starts something it must be done. But, with crafting you able to do other thing and then return later. That way family and/or other responsibilities are not neglected.

Well,....'Hello and rise and shine' to you too my darling Marta and Emily!!!! A few days later of course but how lovely to wake up to this beauty!!! It's so delicate and 'fresh' the way your papers peek through the mediums. Call me crazy here ( and I am of course!) but the stenciling looks to me like a cobbled street with two brave flowers/weeds growing through the cracks to greet the new day with us. That gorgeous stencil is just WOW!!! Huge hugs always

I usually dont comment as you get so many, but I'm so excited to share what I've found. OMG, I think I found possibly the perfect watercolor browns to go with this beautiful print. It's a small 12 watercolor set by Prima, called Odyssey. The first brown I used was "Cusco"and then followed by the color "Jordan". When I was done it looked like it was printed on the paper. I love, love,love it!! 🥳

Lovely delicate page, Marta ❤ I make pancakes too, passed down from my mum who used to make them when I got home from school and I did the same with my kids ❤ Her recipe is 1/1/1 - SR flour (cup), milk (cup) and egg, so easy. All the sweetness is in the brown sugar and butter on top 🙃😊

Your papers are incredibly beautiful and fabulous! As you would say, I love them all! It must have been some process to create all of them to get the consistency in color and design. Do you use a computer to help the process? I’ve always wondered how mixed media designs are created.

Another beautiful project, Marta. Forgive me if you know this or if you don't want to know what I am going to say but I am an RN and I have been listening to you for about a year now, I think. You seem to have a lot of trouble with your nose/ears/throat. I am not a Dr. but it sounds a lot like allergies, especially since you have had it for so long. I am assuming it hasn't bothered your breathing. I would recommend getting an air filter that has a good filter on it. One that is either replaced or can be cleaned. The super cheap ones don't work well. This would be to filter out allergens in the air which can be anything from pollen's and molds to dust mites. The second thing would be to use a neti pot daily. My sister has had severe allergies and asthma all of her life. Serious to the point of hospitalizations and emergency visits. Her Ear, Nose and Throat Doctor had her start using a neti pot nightly about 5 years ago and the difference is staggering. It is not hard to do but does take a couple of times to get the hang of how to use them. Basically, you use warm water either alone or with a simple additive which you can buy or make yourself. You can google neti pot and it will show you the tool and how to use it. It flushes out your nose and sinus areas. Truly has been life changing for my sister and worth investigating. I would speak with your Doctor about it. If you have tried all this or aren't interested, please just disregard this. A lot of people with chronic nose/ear/throat problems also have deviated septum's. Something to look into, anyway.

I do have a question about glue sticks though. When I taught kindergarten the kids used glue sticks and they didn’t seem to keep things down in the long term. Do you have problems with things popping up or falling off? Is there a difference between types of glue sticks? Thank you in advance and thank you for sharing your talent with us! 💜
