I very much appreciate that you just talked us through your whole 'thinking' process of what you want to do next. What you look for in how your project will progress. Just bits and advice...so sweet! I just LOVE how you share so much of YOU with US. I think I just love YOU, Marta!!! Thank you so much for sharing your creativeness with us!!!
I just love listening to you and getting inspired to use all of my products, I do have so many that I have bought and not used. I think I remember you saying not to buy anymore till I use up what I have...that could be a long time -). You are very clear and I leave my listening time with you with so many ideas. When you talk, it sounds like you are a friend talking to me. Thank you so much.
Thank you for your videos and showing your processes. I don't journal but I love watching and listening to your commentary . You're a wonderful artist, always excited to try something new. If I'm not feeling well or have the blues, I watch your videos and half way through I'm smiling and my blues are pinks and smiling. Thank you again!
Love your art. You have inspired me to a whole new realm of art. Have always enjoyed junk stuff but didn't know what to do with it. Now I do. Also thanks for saying in one of your videos that your work space was pissing you off. Well that also is me. Can't walk in my work room without peril to my life and working in there is impossible. So a big glass of wine and your encouragement I am currently cleaning up. But stopped long enough to post a thank you to you. Your work is amazing.
This is gorgeous ... I don't mind that you always say "gorgeous" or "I love it" ... I love watching and listening to you as you show us all how to do different things. Hank you so much for sharing!
Journal on the walls if you wish.Exactly.I remember in the cafe at the beginning when the dianna Walkly stuff was talked over so much.It may be again I havent been able to engage in alot of art conversation lately.I am happy you are back to yourself.happy happy happy and love love love it.hugs to you and your family sweet Marta.
I enjoy seeing you go through the process, and listening to you. I know that it is a special skill to speak and create at the same time. I think that is amazing
Oh my goodness!! I am so joyous that I found Maremi! Her delightful encouragement is inspiring me to actually begin an art journal. I have so many products that I am anxious to use! I love the length of her videos. To see her process calms my fears. Thank U , Thank U! Sending hugs of appreciation!
This is my first post to you, I have been watching you for a couple of months now and you are so inspiring, what a lovely lady you are for sharing your wonderful ideas and showing us how easy it can be to create. I walked away from my craft room for quite some time but you have inspired me to open the door and start again, 'I am loving it' as you quite often say. I can't thank you enough for the encouragement you give and really meaning it when you say it doesn't matter if you make mistakes, I thought I had made so many when trying mixed media but with a little shading and dots it's amazing! I use my embossing ball tool dipped into acrylic paint to make my dots as I find it difficult to control the size if I don't, but I am learning! I have subscribed to your channel and have many hours of your video's to watch, no cleaning today! Have a very happy day Jean
I've been dry creatively for months til tonight. had to review where my tools were and listening to you helps me so much to trust the process and not worry about the rest..thank you.
I nearly just passed out when you placed your napkins upside down and THEN you brushed away one of Jane Davenport's faces and gave me a heart attack!! But I still persevered and watched till the end and I am so happy that i did. I give you extreme credit for being so courageous. Many people (myself included!) are horrible perfectionists when it comes to creating art and your videos help me so much with letting go in my journals. Even though English isn't your native tongue you are truly inspiring with the way you can boost up your viewers and make them feel invisible just by talking while you work! You have been blessed with an old soul and your art reflects it. Amazing!
after 3 months of loose leaf and pad drawings, paintings, and backgrounds, I have a stencil, 4 background stamps, and a small stash of lace washi tape and texturing bits. I have gathered so much I am forced to buy my Dylusions Large Journal from Ranger. It will be here Tuesday! I have sheets and cut outs and going thrifting tomorrow for other bits. Thank you for going non-linear and freeing yourself. I have done it as well. I am proud of myself and all who are dedicated and fearless!
I truly can not get enough of you lol I just started. I've made jewelry and love to craft. I stared to love journals. And then I found you!!! You are so amazing I love watching you make beautiful pages out of absolutely nothing. You have inspired me so much. I can't even begin to explain. Your voice, I love. You creativity is angelic!! You have taken me to such a peaceful level in my life. Thank you!!!! 😘😘😘😘😘😘
I'm not sure what your "comfort zone" is....but stepping out of it with this page should inspire you to step out of it more often. this is beautiful - gorgeous!
SUPERB, EXCELLENT, RICH AND GRAND. never thought to use a book with shine on it till you suggested to use the gesso. Love this book cause some of the pages had beautiful wine pictures. You could leave a pretty page and journal on the other side for writing. As always thanks for the ideas. I love the long videos they are very helpful. Thanks for sharing you AWWWSOME WORK!!
l missed most of this last night so ca e back to watch it again. I am so glad . . now l know l can use a book to use my journals on. This is wonderful to watch and learn with you . This ended up so nice. Thanks . . . 😎 😎 😎
I simply LOVE watching your videos! You inspire me! And that is saying something because I have been doing the type of things you do for very many years and have used many products and even and am artist as a profe4ssion in my second type of job as an artist! I find your methods of doing things very refreshing, you aren't afraid to try new things and I LOVE it! This is how I am, not afraid! People always want to know how I know how to do so many things and use so much stuff and I tell them it's because I am not afraid to fail! If you are not afraid to fail at something or to start something and it not turn out the way you thought it would and have to change your plans then you never truly learn something you can be truly good at! I teach my students that they are not to say "I can't but to say I will try!" My statement back to them if they say "I can't" is "Can't never could strike a match on a bar of soap!" "Now try!" Thanks for the inspiration and keep up the great work!
I am a beginner and I found this video very inspirational. It was good that you went outside your comfort zone. You are very good at explaining the different techniques. I will definitely be watching more of your videos. Thank you.
I love watching you create and can listen to you all day! An easy way to remove the extra ply from the back of napkins is to use a piece of transparent tape I wrap around my fingertip then press on back then i pull by rolling my finger quickly and it will make an easy spot to separate the layers!
I am a Local Area Coordinator, working with people with addictions. The journal has been an inspirational way of getting them to engage and enjoy writing a daily diary, writing down information about their addiction. The process of decorating their own journal gives them ownership, and something they can be proud of, even if the contents contains bad days as well as good days. Many thanks for giving me ideas.
I love and so look forward to your long chatty videos. And you are so inspiring and I have learned so much, not least to just have a go! xx Thank you for all your time! xx
The thought process of thinking outside the box has really come in handy with my art. I feel like I look at things differently now that I've watched your videos. I bought a new table and chair for my creative space and it came with this giant piece of paper with the brand name on it so I used that to create something that I think is really cool. I wish I could post pictures on TH-cam but I basically covered it in gesso let it dry then took a sponge and sponged gel medium around the boarder and it created this really cool border and once that dried I used spray this bright blue and green spray inks in top of that and did some other cool things. It turned out so nice. It's crazy what you can create art on and what you can recycle to create art
Maremi you are the most inspiring person!! I adore your pure sweet attitude! You radiate such love of the entire art process! I could watch you all day!! TFS!!! 👏 excellent tutorial! 👏⛄XO🌲XO🎅XO🎄XO🎁XO❄
I have the inktense pencils, gelatos and the gel sticks and I rarely use them. i also have the inktense blocks and ha e only used those a few times. you just gave me new techniques for those products. love the way this page turned out.
I have just rewatched this video and love it so much. I am working on a journal page and used town papers, gesso and added some stenciling but forgot next steps so this video was great reminder on outlining and how to do it and how to use the water to help it along.i have intense pencils so will use them. Will post to cafe soon. Love your chit chat too. Thank you Marta. 💐💐😘
Your posetive talk has brought me back to art. Now I am learning mix media art because of you. Thank you Marta. I also made my first purchase. I hope I learn something 😊
Hi Maremi, I watch everything you do and I'm inspired by your amazing talent & creativity. Please could you start listing the brand names of the products you use in your videos. Sending love & hugs. 😊💛xx
I love when the tissue paper wrinkles. It's tissue paper, it's supposed to be a bit wrinkly. I love how you stay calm and don't stress about your creations. It's all good eh? this is beautiful! Was a pleasure to watch. Thank you so much for sharing.
Beautiful page. I'm always scared to use black, it seems so overwhelming. You do it perfectly however... so I'll have to practice, practice, practice! Thanks for your great video's. I love listening to you chatting away.
I know this is an older video but I just have to say you are such a sweet, kind, polite person, with wonderful manners. What beautiful character to have to go along with an absolutely blessed talent as an artist. I love your video’s. Thank you for sharing yourself and your talent with us! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I've been watching your videos for inspiration and it finally clicked today when I saw you use this book. I love pastries and have a hand full of food magazines, I can tear out pastry pictures for my canvas 😁👍
I have learned many new and interesting techniques through your videos. Thanks for sharing. Great idea to recycle that book. It's a beautiful journal page although for me it was more artistic without the dots and splashes, which gave it a zentangle feel.
It always amazes me how you can take scraps and bits and bobs and turn them into a gorgeous piece of art! Thank you for sharing your talents with us!\, Marta!
My day can not be complete without watching one of your videos. I learn so much, and have picked up some of the products you said you like a use all the time. I'm recovering from my 7th back surgery and you are definitely a part of my healing process! Many hugs, and please keep sharing with your gang!!
Barb Templin. I certainly empathize with u. I 2 have had spine surgeries, & Marta makes me forget pain. She's inspired me so much, that I now have a good start into mix media art. I just love her. Hang in there! Lean on your loved ones, cuz u deserve their help, love & kindness!!
Marta, I love your work!! How do people communicate right as you are recording? I talk with you in my head all the time - even in the old ones ❤️ I love the way you talk with us as your friends and family ❤️ . You never bore me!!
another great video. Thank you Marta. Love watching you create and having so much fun. So much for inspiration. Always a great result. you're so talented
your long videos are theeee besssst! thank you for this video, these are my favorite!!! art journaling is the least intimidating and most relaxing for me.
Oh what a gorgeous journal spread! I haven't played in my journal for quite some time, and you have inspired me to get one out and play with supplies both old and new and just play. I especially love it when you don't have a plan. When I play this way, the project almost always turns out better than I could have imagined by planning it all out. Besides, it is more fun, not knowing how the piece will turn out. I no longer look like a deer in headlights, when looking at a blank page, as you have helped me through that nonsense. I sincerely enjoy all your videos, for you are always so optimistic, reminding us not to worry about simple mistakes or how the piece will turn out. As you say, it's all good. I love listening to your cheerful, sweet voice, and I hope you will continue making videos for us for a very long time. Hope you have a most enjoyable and fun week.
I love the way this turned out. I have never done art journaling, but after watching you, I would really like to give it a try. Your videos are inspirational.
IMHO this is one of your best videos I have been uo all night watching them, I love the art journal you inspired me to try and be fearless, I need more of these
Marta, i've been doing mixed media art journaling in an old novel for the last couple of months. Well I have several journals going at one time, but the old book is just one! I enjoy everything you do, Marta, you are such a blessing! God bless you and Emily and Lucas! (and the guinea pig) LOL
Marta, I was nervous about halfway through the video when you seemed stalled. . . .but you pulled the pages together beautifully! They are -- dare I say it? -- miraculous!
Watching this longer video was such a wonderful creative learning experience. Your on-the-spot process inspires me to break out of old patterns to explore new and fresh ways of expressing my creative gifts as well. What a blessing you've been to me and so many others. May God prosper you, and your family in every way. Truly fond of you Marta! :>)
This is awesome Marta and I love the Derwent 'Bark' watercolour pencil you used for outlining. I have those pencils and I must try that one myself. Thank you so much for encouraging us to play with our journal pages. I didn't follow you by doing this I was doing an anniversary card for my eldest brother and his wife. Then I did the 'Peace' and 'Quote' cards. Happy fulfilling couple of hours. I must get some of the tissue paper I have loads on our EBay watching page n it's time I bought them lol. Hugs and love Pat xxxxx
I am following this Marta - I found a lovely book on rose gardens in the charity shop so I am using that. Unfortunately I didn't remember to use the clear gesso over the serviettes, so they have broken a bit when I put some of the texture paste stencil work over them - It looks OK though, and it was a GREAT way to learn...my next stage is to play with some colours once the paste is dry...having so much fun! By the way, the pages were thick and glossy, so they didn't need to be stuck together, so it's a good idea to look around in the charity shops for good quality hard back books - It cost £1 only.
Oh I tend to type on hear as I watch.idk how to do both cafe and u tube at same time just typing I loose focus llol.I truly enjoyed this video. Thank you .You truly do sound like your feeling like yourself.so much laughter in your voice.
Loved the longer video. Great page. You should use that book for a series of videos on journal pages. I for one would love to watch you fill the entire book up with your art work. Have you ever tried stenciling over top of wet Magical's? Then letting it dry. It makes a really cool almost ghost like look to the page.
@Luna Moody can you explain exactly what you used over the magicals on your stencil, explain step by step and how you used the magicals as well before the stenciling? I would love to try that.
I loved watching this video! You inspire! The journal pages are beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing your art and techniques with us! I look forward to the next one!
i really enjoyed this video and your process on how you do collage and mixed media. im trying to get into mixed media myself and i think art journalling will be my next hobby
What I love best are all the materials, tools, and mediums that you use in so many ways.
I adore your tissue!Ur furbaby sounds are so cute!!!!!!I just LOVE how you talk to him.And when you are so happy you sing.Make a joyful noise.
"...fast forward.." ? Just like so many others, I wouldn't miss a word and I enjoy these long, fun, informative, creative videos! Thanks, Marta.
Beautiful pages Marta, and I admire you for creating and talking at the same time. Great techniques, thank you!
Thank you! Making videos I suspect is not easy. Making awesome Craft Journals is such a relaxing and fun thing to do. Thank you for making me happy!
I love watching your process. Please don't change how many times you say "gorgeous." I love your art and the way you instruct and share what you do!!
I love to hear you talk! It's nice to hear someone get excited about a passion they have!
Love your art. You have inspired me to a whole new realm of art. Have always enjoyed junk stuff but didn't know what to do with it. Now I do. Brittney Pokoiski thank you so so much for your kind words. love your comment ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
I'm watching you and really enjoying your art and your chat as I am getting my chemotherapy. Thank you. I'm so relaxed and entertained.

Thank you so much for incorporating techniques and tools for beginners. In find the tip about using paint to do the dots very useful.
I agree with Rae, I am a beginner also and enjoy watching and learning from you! Thank you!!
SUPERB, EXCELLENT, RICH AND GRAND. never thought to use a book with shine on it till you suggested to use the gesso. Love this book cause some of the pages had beautiful wine pictures.
Lovely result and tips, Marta. I enjoy using my op shop books too, so helpful already having a background to work on for a bit of interest.
I love and so look forward to your long chatty videos. And you are so inspiring and I have learned so much, not least to just have a go! xx Thank you for all your time! xx
Again a lovely page!!! It's wonderful to see how you turn your pages so gorgeously gorgeous😉!!!❤️this one!!!
Thanks Marta for taking the time to make this video. I love it❤. The effect on the right flower is so nice. I cannot wait to try it.

So loved this video! And the page is beautiful. I struggle with texture/moulding paste. This is encouraging me to give it one more try. Thank you.

Marta, i've been doing mixed media art journaling in an old novel for the last couple of months. Well I have several journals going at one time, but the old book is just one! I enjoy everything you do, Marta, you are such a blessing! God bless you and Emily and Lucas! (and the guinea pig) LOL
I love the flower you just touched up...I would do the same to the other one...Just beautiful!!!!
Thank you for listening to my plea ! and getting back to making an art journaling video ... hopefully there will be lots more :) great page xx
Marta, I was nervous about halfway through the video when you seemed stalled. . . .but you pulled the pages together beautifully! They are -- dare I say it? -- miraculous!
Love you videos, love even the long ones where you do step by step, I enjoy them a lot! Thank you! Great idea!!

This is amazing. I will certainly be experimenting on this. 🥰
Love ❤️ these pages! TYFS! 💜🤗
Wow! What a difference at each stage.Love the finished pages 😊,and Yay,lovely long chatty video 😄x
I just love your channel. You are a delight. I love what you did for this project.
I love this!!!!! Thank you for teaching me step by step. I have never art journaled before and this piece has inspired me to try it.
Loved the longer video. Great page. You should use that book for a series of videos on journal pages. I for one would love to watch you fill the entire book up with your art work. Have you ever tried stenciling over top of wet Magical's? Then letting it dry. It makes a really cool almost ghost like look to the page.
oooh thanks I may try ! :)
and making more pages in this book sounds awesome !
I hope you do. It really looks cool. But remember to let it dry on it's own. I doubt that it would work/look the same otherwise.
@Luna Moody
can you explain exactly what you used over the magicals on your stencil, explain step by step and how you used the magicals as well before the stenciling? I would love to try that.
This was the 1st video of yours I watched. OUTSTANDING! You are such an inspiration to me, as I begin my very first art journal. Thanks so much!
